Not Impressed
I used to use instance for free. Why does everything require a subscription now? From what used to be a pretty cool free app, besides paying for a free premium subscriptions, this app is no longer useful for me and it sucks. I wish companies would stop following AI trends because no one asked for this.

lowkey liked it before but the constant begging of premium everytime you move in the app is crazy, now with the addition of watermark on photos, I’ll be moving on
Watermark
I’ve used this app for years. And I have paid $5 a month for years. But now I need to pay $12 a month if I don’t want a watermark? That’s disappointing and frustrating. The lack of watermark was one of the reasons why I stayed loyal for as long as I have.
Not free anymore
I’ve had this app on my phone since high school which was over 5 years ago and it was always free! Now you can’t even crop your photos without being asked to pay! So ridiculous and greedy. I just deleted this app
Constantly Want Money
I tried this to resize photos for Instagram. No idea how.

Bugs were not fixed
I’ve had this app for years, the pinch and zoom feature has always frustrated me but I’ve been able to deal with it, now whenever I choose to save a photo, have of the image comes out discolored
Watermark?
This app is now absolute garbage. You can’t make a photo without a watermark with the free version. The addition of AI was unnecessary and counterproductive. I’ve used this app for years and years. Now it’s time to delete it given the paywalls and ridiculous bells and whistles they are cramming down your throat. They had been making this app harder and harder to use for years. Constantly trying to trick you into buying a subscription. Making controls more and more inaccessible and frustrating. Adding mandatory watermarks for the free version is the nail in the coffin. This is now a completely useless app. I’m deleting it. Goodbye forever.

I can no longer save any projects… and I pay for this every month. Deleting and unsubscribing

Begging for your subscription
So even though weeks will go by and you can’t even open the app; every single step of your editing process, you will be prompted with pop ups asking you to upgrade to premium. I actually just deleted the app and redownloaded it because it wouldn’t open again; but when I went to go delete it, it asked if I wanted to cancel my $5/month subscription when deleting the app? Since when? This app is/was the OG and now it’s nothing but an obnoxious money hungry spam robot. Use a different app, this one sucks.
Too limited
Downloaded the app. Immediately saw that it was limited to vertical viewing and doesn’t rotate to view and manipulate in horizontal mode. Was able to quickly resize an image, but overall too limiting. Deleted and found another app that would rotate.
Terrible
It immediately forces some type of subscription or a very brief trial. But then after selection of payment plan, the app doesn’t offer a first-time user friendly app. Or maybe the app is just faulty. It won’t just simply crop the image.It just keeps saving the entire image to a graph continuously. Deleted.
Unable to use this
The “tour” on first launch gets to the fourth screen and won’t go farther. This app is useless.
Ridiculous
I have used this app for years and it always worked perfectly, I have no idea what is going on but I’m about to find a new app you can text on your photo and center it exactly where you want it…then save it thinking your ready to post!! NOPE!! When it’s saved the texts are missing parts of the letters (like the top part or bottom will be cut off) and the text will NOT be where you placed it! It is beyond frustrating! This app use to be awesome all its good for these days is shooting my blood pressure up!!
This is not productive
I used to enjoy this app but now I can’t even open it without having to do a “generous” 3 day trial period. How far things have fallen. I will look elsewhere.
Unrecognizable results- not in good way!
Changes subject in original photo in the service of a simple edit request. Can’t follow directions as provided. Horrible results. Would give it a 0/5 stars if I could!

Too much advertising for premium
I don’t usually leave reviews, but I do like using this app to edit my pictures. However, I’ve reached my limit with the pop-up advertisements for the premium version. I do not want it. I will not eventually want it just because it’s being spammed in my face everytime I click something while using the app. I would recommend lessening the amount of advertisements, ideally just when you open the app. Therefore, the user can still be reminded every time they access the app, but won’t become constantly annoyed by the advertisements slowing them down while using the app
