Terrible advertisement
IBD shows undesirable advertisements of the sexual content and makes it impossible to get rid off it.
Login issues
The app does not work properly. I have a monthly subscription, but it tells me I need to subscribe so I hit the subscribe button and it tells me you already have a subscription. I try to open the app and it just sits there trying to load for up to an hour without opening up. I have contacted them. They told me my subscription is current and up-to-date. Yet when I go to try to open the app on my phone, it will not open. It tells me I need a subscription. I can’t seem to get this resolved.
Frustrating interface
Good information but it is very hard to find things.

Throws pop ups at you constantly although you are a subscriber. Often the link to put in your sign in credentials is missing. Very annoying!

I am your IBD for the past 25 years I started in 1999 and I don’t like it anymore because I read and look at it in the evening and it doesn’t have any lately news about anything .. always day late
STOP THE ADS
I’m paying you a monthly fee. Stop with all the ads flying in my face. I can’t even enjoy reading your articles because the ads are so bad all over the article. Do you really think you are winning customers over with such terrible ad noise all over the actual product you provide. Put them at the very end of an article and if I want to see them I will and if I don’t I won’t. People need to push back o. This garbage.

The subscription ad would pop up first. After I closed the Ad, the info won’t upload or it kept saying Loading but wouldn’t upload.

App is fine but I hate the investment commentary by the writers, especially Ed Carson. Too conservative and risk averse with the obsolete, Bill O’Neil’s philosophy. I just stick to facts, not opinions.

Difficult to navigate
I get e mails with summary of IBD articles. When I click on “read more” it takes me to advertising. When I try to read on my paid subscription I only get the first paragraph and again the button for subscription takes me to advertising. Either there is a software glitch or there is nothing g more to this than advertising. I am considering dropping the subscription. It’s worthless to me as it stands.
Very cunningly designed app
You install the app, get the subscription. And when you click to open a news article from notification, it opens in the browser instead of app. And they run horrible, interrupting ads on the web site. Very difficult to read through the article with those ads. Initially I thought it’s a bug, but later I realized they can’t run ads in the app as they wish to, so cunningly make users to go to website. Why am I paying subscription and get the ads too?

When you pay for a service, you don’t want to be constantly upsold. That’s all this is. $50/mo to read this article (that it put in my notifications), oh if you want this one over here it’s $70/mo, pretty soon you could be signed up for $2,000/mo of services that the founder of the site said you should be doing your own research to get anyway. I regret jumping into the free trial, so far this service has only come up with ideas on how to get suckers, like me to buy high.

Annoying Pop Ups for Subscribers
Paid subscriber to IBD digitals should not be harassed with pop ups for their other products. Some good things on the app but the user is overwhelmed with upselling content and linked videos that hair trigger open on scrolling. Needs some work.

I like to read the news on my ipad and this phone version looks pretty bad on it.
Impossible to open
I love the information and daily market analysis. But for some reason it’s incredibly difficult to open the app. I literally takes over 5 minutes to open. And it seems that it gets progressively more and more difficult. I wonder if that’s on purpose?
IOS App Flaky
The app on IOS constantly forgets that I am a subscriber and only shows 5 stocks in a IBD list rather than the entire list. If I logout and re-login then it will work for some time and then fail again.
