Not a Free APP
You only get 1 week free and then you have to pay. I think this would be a fine app for people who want to pay, but calling it a free app for only a 1 week trial period is a scam.

Overpriced for what it does. Basically lets you resize and rotate clip art on photos.

I signed up for what appeared to be a 7 day free trial for a monthly subscription, but was immediately charged for the full month. After cancelling right away, the app only gave me access from March 18 to March 25, just 7 days, instead of a full 30 day period that I paid for.
To make things worse, the charge showed up through PayPal as “Apple Services” but did NOT appear in my Apple purchase history, so I couldn’t request a refund through Apple. The app support redirected me back to Apple, and I ended up stuck in a loop with no resolution.
I never even used the app because I noticed the issue immediately and didn’t want it to affect my refund chances.

This app is terrible. I have watched 3 tutorials and can't get any of the "layers" to move. I'm finding it impossible to move anything to the location where I want it. Will definitely be canceling after the trial.
No compromise for homeowners
The app won’t even let you see what a basic pine tree or evergreen looks like in your yard…. Useless! How about home owners get a one time unlock of 5$ and maybe even make each plant a dollar in app purchase. With so many options you could make money doing that. 300$ a year you are cutting off the main customer base. With AI and stuff nowadays this app will be obsolete soon if changes aren’t made.

I found only one free option for hard scape and I couldn’t even adjust it properly to curve around. I found this a total waste.

Short trial, NOT for Pacific Northwest
This app doesn’t have plants common in the Pacific Northwest. I gave it a go using lookalikes, but it ended up not being useful for me. One week trial period is pretty stingy too.

It was great until I was overcharged
I’ll definitely change my review once I get my money back after I was overcharged. I’ve reached out to Support. I’ve sent messages into chat. I’m waiting for a response and for a refund. I would love to continue using your product as long as my payment methods are being dealt with securely.
Watch out!
I decided to try it for one neighbor’s native garden, one time, on the free trial period. Didn’t work very well AND thought I cancelled, but they hit me for a subscription charge anyway! Had to cancel thru Apple App store. The free trial isn’t free & it is a clunky app.

Any review that is positive is fake and paid for. This app is terrible and is simply a photo editor with assets to add. In now way is this a helpful landscape editor. And like so many apps, they want you to subscribe before you can even use it to give it a review.

Absolute garbage for landscape design
Tried using this on a mobile device, it was unworkable. Switched to a laptop and it was underwhelming on what you could do. Draw shapes, fill with textures. And to find this out I was FORCED to upgrade to $30. WASTE OF MONEY. Do not buy!!!
Not AI- Don’t waste your money or TIME!
I was looking for an app to help generate a firepit landscape design using a photo of my actual backyard. I’ve used DALL·E in the past for garden concepts, but it doesn’t allow uploading personal photos-hence the search for an alternative for this expensive project. While this app lets you upload your own photo, the time it takes to actually design something visually compared to DALL-E is ridiculous. In an era of advanced AI, this app feels outdated and clunky. Needs a serious upgrade. Total waste of money.

I went back to the app to confirm I did not have access, which I didn’t-yet somehow, while navigating the app to figure out what happened, I must’ve tapped something that instantly triggered a brand new subscription. No confirmation screen, no warning-just BOOM, another charge.
Tried reaching out to customer service-radio silence. And as for Apple support… well, you already know how that goes. $80 gone, no access, no help, no accountability.
Shame on iScape for the shady UX, and shame on Apple for letting this kind of practice fly. Avoid this app at all costs.

Not worth it at all. You can do better things with a free Canva account. Overpriced and a scam.

Kind of worthless
Using my photo to start with, I was hoping for something similar to their examples and advertising. It’s nothing like that - there’s no way to get anything realistic appearing with the items they have, even with the Pro version I paid a month for. It’s all completely unrealistic appearing, perspective and locations and scale are completely wrong almost all of the time, even with the tools they include. Total waste of $30. I had 100x more success with the same starting photo and a free trial of Photoshop, using the photoshop Generative AI fill tool. Don’t waste your time and money like I did.

I had no way of trying the 'free' app without paying for it. Plant selection was very limited. There are better apps out there. This was one is useless

I download the app just to find that it was only free for a short time then you get charged. I thought it was only optional in app charges not mandatory to use.

I tried using the app a few times but I literally can’t figure it out whatsoever. I wanted to use AI or “augmented reality” to help design landscaping for the front of my house. I could not figure it out!!! Nobody wants to watch a trillion instructional videos. If I had that kind of time, why would I be using an app?! The trees and plants you can add yourself are extremely limited with poor images. Tons of upselling for any useful features. Seems to be designed for professionals that just want a visual rendering of something they designed themselves for paying clients. Not user friendly or landscaping beginner friendly at all.

Complete waste of time on the free side. The options are so limited it’s a joke. Even the stuff you can see but can’t access without paying is extremely limited. No way this app will help design anything other than a simplistic non-inspiring landscape. Of course this is my opinion.
super slow
app was super slow and sluggish on an ipad G5 @ 18.3.2... the pen worked intermittently. i wasnt able to do ANY work on it.... i gave it 4 hrs of my life... my ipad is not my prefered device so i know its not because its over taxed. i barely use it. all other apps are great on it. sorry iscape. But you let me down after i talked you up. i had to revert to photos covered with clear protectors and colored erase markers to get my point across... i really wish it had performed for me.

If you are looking for something that has a good baseline free abilities? This is not the app for you! If you want to do anything you have to pay
Read the fine print-$200 per year
Downloaded to use ,you are then given thd option to use for a week for free. But if you want to use ongoing it is over $200. So if you want to actually use it you will need to pay $200. I don’t understand why someone would want to use your landscape design tool for only a week. As a homeowner I want to plan an initialdesign, then modify as I make changes or additions.
