What the actual hell
Was offered it yearly free for 7 days then 29.99 for the year. I accidentally bypassed it now apple wants 100$ a year. Scammers

This used to be the best translation app for Mexican Spanish to English and vice versa. The best feature, that no other translation apps had, was the “alternative translations” option, where you could see other possible translations of what you put in. I used this frequently, because often the default English translation of the Spanish input did not make sense based on the context. However, one of the alternative translations pretty much always did, and I even confirmed with multiple Spanish speakers that the alternative translations were correct in most of those situations. Unfortunately, the dimwits running this app have removed the alternative translations option. And when I tried to explain why the alternative translations were so important, these morons told me to just input in Spanish what I want the “alternative translation” to be. Yes, you heard that right. They told me, a non-Spanish speaker, to input IN SPANISH what i “want” the alternative translation to be in English. If you are confused, it is because that makes no sense. If I knew what the correct translation would be, it would mean that I am a Spanish speaker and don’t need the app. The idiots at customer service seriously had no understanding of the fact that there can be more than one translation of a word/phrase/sentence, so I got nowhere with them in resolving the issue. And frankly, their stupidity resulted in straight up disrespectful behavior to me. So after years of paying for this app, I have discontinued my subscription. I truly hope this company goes out of business now. I’m assuming there must be new people running it or who own it, because like I said before, it used to be great. So that is the only reason I can think of that this app became trash and now defied logic. Oh, also, there is often to button available for me to click to even translate text anymore. So I will input the text to be translated, but there is no button to push to get it translated. Sometimes the button is there, sometimes it is not.

Good product, bad billing
I subscribed to this product years ago. I liked it. I cancelled my subscription. Now, every year, they try to charge me again without authorization for the subscription I cancelled. Watch these guys! Too bad there is no zero stars rating.
Tiny translation window !!
Same as any other translation app but this one sucks because the translation window is above and beyond tiny and it’s had to read !!

Cannot find certain Polynesian Languages.thats it app performs decent for what it’s programmed to do, I guess :)
Poor translation & difficult to cancel
DO NOT USE.
The voice translations were slow. Canceled within trial period and this failed, got charger for additional week.
Support is unhelpful - AI responses and using excuses that apple has to manage the refunds.

The idea is great. Tried using it to scan and translate long classroom texts, however, the translation is direct and so many words will get lost in translation because context is not taken into consideration. Google Translate is a better tool for accurate translation- it just doesn’t have the option of scanning documents- yet.
Annoying
I’ve been using the app for many years through several updates. I feel it’s one of the better translators available. that is until recently, the annoying request for a review. That appears almost every time I try to use the app. Is absolutely ridiculous. A four star rating turns to two stars. because somebody thought it was a good idea to annoy the end user to force a review..
