Doesn’t even let me into the app

New update breaks app
Daily user for over 10 years. The latest update may have broken the app for good with the insanely large timer bar that obfuscates your ability to swipe btwn exercises. At least give users who use audio signals btwn sets the ability to toggle off that dumb green timer bar that keeps breaking everything

Down hill
This used to be a good app for performance tracking. Now it’s a pay for service and overly complicated. Keep shopping.
Buggy App
Gives the appearance of smart app ( including AI) but it’s all BS! Is cheap dumb tracker full of bugs and inaccurate information
Used to be great now it's a turd
Use any other app bc this one is 👎

Post workout summary is also broken. Pulls up my phones keyboard and gives no option to exit keyboard

Data breach
This app was directly tied to a data breach where my information was exposed.
AI slop
I just wanted an app to log my workouts. I was immediately inundated with bloatware and ads hawking their AI slop. Immediate delete.
Junk
Don’t waste your money. The most annoying app I’ve ever used.
Premium for every feature Hevy is better
Greedy
Plain awful
Whoever authorized this last release should take the time to reflect on their career choice. I raised some of these issues on your app contact sheet but due to your lack of responsiveness, let’s “air it all” in public.
- [ ] Swaps don’t work: one time out of three the app crashes, and when it does not crash, it stubbornly refuses to change the exercise and reverts to the original exercise.
- [ ] The audio does not match the exercises. You get instructions that have nothing to do with what you are supposed to do
- [ ] On some exercises you can’t even change the weight. The app returns invariably to the original value.
- [ ] The app occasionally skips the last set and starts you on a new exercise when you are not finished
- [ ] Whenever you decide to select swap and then more, you sometimes end up with a selection that have nothing to do with the muscle group you are working on
- [ ] Worse , after you select an exercise and you finish it you end up to the main table where were listed the exercises for that session except that, poof they’re all gone. You have another entirely random selection of exercises of various muscle groups and all the data you logged is just …. gone!
I decided to leave one of your competitor’s app for a fraction of the defects that I am seeing. You guys make them look like coding virtuosos.
Inexcusable
I urge anyone who is considering signing up to wait and see if there is any response to this message. If not, there are plenty of other decent apps out there .

WTF - My personal plans list
So I tried this new AI update. I don’t like the plan it suggested and wanted to revert back to the plans I created. Now I can’t access them … WTF! If I have to start over I’m changing apps! I want my personally created plans back in its entirety with notes!!! WTF!!!
If only they’d stop “updating” the app
STOP. CHANGING THE APP.
I no longer have control in over the app. It has gotten progressively worse over the last several updates. I am done. I can’t even put in my own time for a walk anymore and the app just closes so it doesn’t track me

Uggghhh
It used to work great until one day…all it does is keep showing the logo. It’s 2026 and this app will not load my workouts because why it’s got some issue with its connection to the internet? C’mon what’s wrong with working offline and only connecting to hen needed? It like I said it’s 2026
Who designed this?
There are so many ridiculous things about this app, that it makes me think the designers are just Silicon Valley bros who’ve never actually used it. It’s small simple things like automatically setting the same rest time between reps and exercises, even when completely changing equipment (have you ever been to a large gym?) or showing a new workout that uses one leg or arm, but giving no indication of when : how to switch sides … or even if the indicated weight is total or per arm (sometimes it says per DB, but not always). Anyway, the app is riddled with little annoying stuff like this and the regular price is the same (or more!) than apps who clearly have put effort into the UX. I subscribed using a Christmas discount, but even that feels like a rip off now. They must have spent their energy on marketing or PR because this app sucks.
I’ve been a paid user since 2016.
I’ve been a payed user since 2016. I initially downloaded the app to start tracking my workouts. Since then, I’ve accumulated over 15000 “iron points” Without a doubt, the app has been by my side as I crushed every single one of my goals. However, the app has gotten worse. SO BAD I felt the need to leave a 1 star review. My reasons are as follows.
Feature bloat: This app has transformed into trying to cater to too many people by adding so many features it’s now a complicated game / community / trainer instead of the simple fitness tracker it once was. I have consistently had a 3 day split for the past 5 years, and that has been harder to manage due to all of the different features that are constantly being shoved in my face. Let me work out, I don’t want to try your new AI workout trainer.
Price: A subsequent result of the features is the increase in price. I previously paid $40 per year for full access to the app. In fact, at some point I believe I also paid for a lifetime subscription (It seems that was never honored) Now, the price has gone through the roof.
If you know how to workout, and just need to track your workouts, this is NOT your app. You will constantly be bombarded with annoying ads to pay for an upgrade in features you don’t need.

App not withering
Lot of information and some one looking just for program he has to read we not reading the void we need just visual workout that it we are no in school to read a lot you don’t mad it easy
What happened?
Can no longer search for work outs. It just gives most popular. When it makes a custom you cant edit it like when you made it so you have to delete and redo it. I liked this for discovering new routines. Now I just get workouts that are advertisements.
Why
Lost all my workouts , now i have to pay to rebuild my plans. Looks like it’s time to find a new app
Keeps deleting my workouts
I created like 4 workouts, they got deleted so I put them back in & deleted again.
This app should be easier to use. I found the free version much easier then the now paying version. Not happy.

1. No option to delete account. Brakes GDPR.

Lost all workout history
Was a great app, however when i was checking for my workout tomorrow i have a 6 month gap in history. This is enough to make me got back to paper…what weight did i do last week? No idea its all gone
Very difficult to use
Design is extremely unintuitive. Trying to create your workouts is a labyrinth: there are instant options, but they start workouts, but then you have to make a plan, and the the plan you can’t really add to but then you add to this other area and maybe a plan shows up for the day… it’s nightmarish.
Maybe it’s useful for experienced lifters, but as a beginner, I’m completely lost. Wish I had looked more into this before paying.

Random payment
Was great till they made it to where you gotta pay for workouts to go though a smartwatch

You ruined the app
Long time user and all this ai stuff has ruined the app. That are you hired some clown who told you what people want and that person probably hasn’t worked out a day in his life. If it’s not broke…
Great in the past, terrible now
This used to be a great app back in the day but they have managed to destroy it via overengineering and constant, unnecessary UI updates
Get the basics first
I get that JE fit has a lot of bells and whistles to help optimize the workout experience. But who is overseeing the exercises that make up your database?
You often have duplicates of the same exercise with different names, you have descriptions that don’t match the illustrations given, and you are missing a lot of basic machines exercises.
The search function also needs help, probably with tagging because lots of searches come up incomplete. For example, if you search for exercises that target glutes, it doesn’t include the glute kickback, which is in the database, it turns out.
So…you wanna get me to subscribe to your premium membership? Show me you can get the basics correct first. Very sloppy.

So hard to use
I actually paid for a year of this app and am just a month in and regretting my decision. The app is not intuitive AT ALL and makes it so confusing to change exercises-it’ll list a machine that my gym doesn’t have week after week, even after I delete it and substitute something else. Navigating through the app on my phone is like wandering through funhouse mirrors, with no clear Home Screen. If I want to see what next week has in store for me, the days are greyed out and a little icon of a lock is on them. What?? This means I can’t tailor workouts ahead of time but have to do it on the fly during the workout. I need a user’s manual to understand how to use the app, it seems. So disappointed.
Bully’s you
I used to love this app and now it does nothing but bully me. After I’m done working out it shows me a sad face and says I didn’t work out hard enough.
Don’t get this app! It will bully you and so will the teammates telling you you need to do better
