Over all Is an ok app
I have a business that has multiple jobs coming in I need everything organized, all my clients They don’t really care about the app. They just want the estimate done so they can go over it , if there’s any changes, they will talk directly with me, which brings to my point where there is too many options such as jobs clients and changes if this app had only estimate and invoice it would be so much better also a big negative is that it does not have any links to send to WhatsApp Facebook etc seems a bit outdated. The AI is nice but in 2026 99% of the estimate apps has that option included for a lot cheaper. I used it for a couple of months and all I have to say it did not surprise me at all the more it has the less it’s easier to use.

I have to say I think the Jobber software is phenomenal. Everything I could’ve ever wanted in one package. I feel like the pricing can be a bit steep, but luckily they have plans for various needs and budgets. The issue is that they really do not protect you at all when it comes to customer charge backs. Most of my customers were awesome. Never had this issue before but I had a customer recently charge back $8000. I filed the dispute gave receipts, etc., and the company still sided with the customer and did not refund the money to me. Instead of assisting me in anyway. They don’t help and you’re just SOL. And to top it off, they have now blocked me from my account until the balance is paid and now I can’t see any of the documents that I need to bring the client to court. I’m not sure if I have to get my lawyer involved to or what but I don’t see how they can be more unhelpful in this situation. I already have to go to court and place a lien on this woman’s home and now you have blocked me from my account to make it more difficult for me and retrieving the money. And to top it off, they have blocked me from my account where I am not even able to use it and are still trying to charge me the monthly subscription every month. What a joke.
Predatory And Deceptive - DO NOT USE
Jobber is a predatory and clunky app that should be avoided like payday lenders.
Jobber utilizes Stripe as their 3rd party processor, as if businesses couldn’t have their *own* Stripe account, but states 1-2 days for ACH processing (standard) but then has their support team making up their favorite 2 day range to cite to customers.
Of course, Jobber can magically release *some* of the ACH funds on Day 2 but of course you have to pay a fee to have the funds released.
In actuality, Jobber holds your funds for 7-10 days pushing small businesses to agonize enough to agree to pay to have *some* of their money. Mind you, paper checks still deposit folks.
Sadly, Jobber is also functionally unbearably clunky.
Their “support team” are forced to make it up as they go, no one with real accountability AND authority/ability to help.
Contractors and small businesses: unless you can tolerate losing 5% percent of your bottom line to Robber, oops I mean, Jobber, and want to get paid slower than asking your customers to pay you in wheelbarrows full of loose change - AVOID JOBBER AT ALL COSTS!

I used to praise Jobber. I told everybody else in my industry about it and said it was the best field service app that I ever used. My only stipulation was it did not handle recurring billing very well, this was somewhat misrepresented to me when I was purchasing the software, but I figured it was a simple miscommunication. I explained to the sales rep that we are in Alarm Company and need to handle recurring billing and she told me Jobber could handle that. It turns out the recurring billing wants to be tied to a job every time. I’m sure that’s fine if you’re mowing lawns. But it doesn’t make much sense for you to receive a job completion Email after your alarm bill has been charged to your credit card. Their solution for this? Disable job completion emails. Well now I’m missing a major feature of the platform because these customers still have other types of jobs. I said no problem, help me do a payment data export through stripe (which jobber uses for payment processing) that way I could use a different tool only to handle my recurring billing. I was going to stay with jobber for everything else. They refused. They offered to make a feature suggestion. That is completely unacceptable. They’re holding my customers payment data hostage, and support is not replying when I asked them if I am the merchant of record or if they are the merchant of record. If I have to recollect all my customers payment data I’m switching away from jobber entirely.
Do yourself a favor and do not use this app, for any business that builds RMR, the easiest way to attrition is having to ask customers to update their payment method, then they suddenly remember they don’t want the service anymore. So thank you Jobber for a great reminder why you should vet all your sass apps and never EVER use a platform that does not allow you to bring your own payment processor.

2500$ a year for an app ?
You need to pay at least 2500$ a year to use this program.
Not worth it
They charge more than square for card transactions and don’t give you your $ for a FULL week unless you pay even more. Little scammy if you ask me

I would give zero stars if I could this is the absolute worst app I have ever used in my life to try to do an estimate. Also followed up by a call from somebody who had no idea what he was doing, but he surely wanted to waste my time to schedule a time for me to talk to somebody else that I guess knows what they’re doing to waste more of my time.

Honestly this app was great when I first got it 2 years ago.
I run my entire plumbing business through Jobber. However, the past 3 months has been a nightmare dealing with this app. All of my guys are having nothing but the dumbest big issues. We can’t save a line item because the option is grayed out, or they’re unable to upload photos with invoices due to app kicking them out/ shutting down. Everyone is having issues including myself and unfortunately we’re going to have to go to a different service. Save your money, for $180 a month I expected something better than this

We signed up with jobber and got their mid tier package. It took us months to get clients imported as we had over 1,000 and eventually had to pay someone separate. It was a hassle to get their team to do it for us as we were not their highest paying clients and just kept sending a video I had already watched. After finally getting clients in we experienced glitches in the software itself in both the app and browser version when trying to set up different forms inside of jobber as well as when the customer views them.
After paying over $700 we canceled and requested a refund which has been even more of a hassle as they keep referring back to their no refund policy when we were not even able to use the software for our business at all. Still have yet to get our money back. I would NOT recommend this to anyone as they are not customer oriented and basically stole our money after spending hours of our own time trying to set this up without success. I would expect a business this size to care more about the customers they serve.

Payment Issues and no support
I got jobber to help track the data we need within our business daily. That goal was achieved. However, jobber payments has held money for going on 14 days and I have yet to get a single answer or correspondence as to when I’ll receive the funds or even be approved, as the risk management team seems to have flagged our account. Even after linking our bank account directly and sending them over nearly 10 documents total to prove we are real. Zero support, zero help, and zero people you can talk to. Assuming this gets fixed jobber payments will be turned off and I’ll outsource or develop our own payment method.

You won’t mow premium areas
They save the best areas for their own crews. This scam barely pays for gas and time if you’re almost killing yourself code enforcement choppin.
Most yards I’ve mowed on LG are around $25.00 mowing, trimming, edging and blowing.
Some of these cuts have bags and bags of cuttings from the side walk edging alone. If you happen to accept a mow and arrive to find it perched on a tall hill and impossible for your rig, bag yards full of weeds hiding dog stuff, excessive play ground equipment (no extra pay to trim around stuff) they will charge you $15 to drop it.
It’s like the rich stealing from the poor at this point. A lawn guy sole proprietor isn’t exactly raking in the dough at these rates and frequencies. Some request monthly mows for less than $30. Talk about excess grass every where and hard on equipment. I could go on and on about how expensive my equipment it. I have 6k in equipment and get paid like I’m the paper boy.

The app is great, the software does so much for the business. Jobber payments is absolutely terrible and the people behind it are even worst. They withhold customer payments for undetermined amounts of time, they will get back to you after 7 business days. I would not rely on their payment system as their support is utter trash and they don't care about your business. I'll continue to use Jobber as their entire software is great but we will use another processor for payments.

They flagged the payment and I spent an entire day waiting n the phone with them getting them to unflag it, I’m now having to pull money from my personal accounts to cover business expenses as well as paying late fees on payments for my business. If you just need a system for estimates it works great but I would not recommend taking any payments through them.

Why jobber sucks for finding old job projects and inserting photos
This app is a hassle when trying to insert photos for a job.. you have to insert 15 photos at a time (since the 50 selected photos you can supposedly do never upload, only 15 out of the 50 upload even if they are all loaded) and the photos also take for ever to load. Finding an old job you did also sucks since it doesn’t have a search bar to look up the street or job name
Canceling Jobber
Support team just isn’t there and even canceling your subscription takes over an hour.
Why isn’t it loading the update?
I just updated the app and it’s not registering that it’s been updated. I deleted the app from my phone and reinstalled it and still not working, I’ve turned my phone on and off and it’s still not loading. It keeps saying it needs to be updated, takes me to the App Store and it’s already been updated. 🤷🏻♀️
