They just stole from their players
In the middle of a game they simply erased it after players had invested hours of play time, spent real money to get resources to advance. They offer some vague promise of making it up to the players but most of us have seen them get greedier as time goes on. I’ve played for years and spent a lot of money but I’m tired of being taken advantage of like this. Do better wooga or you will lose a lot of players.
Very upset, long time player!
I lost more than 300+ diamonds on partner detectives! As I wrote on my previous message I sent earlier today. I bought the top energy, paying 199 diamonds. I paid 50 diamonds at least 6 times keeping my 20th level to keep playing at that level! Now we have to restart it again on May 7, 2026. Wooga and partners are greedy, greedy, greedy!!! What the hell!!!
If there are other players, like me getting played by wooga, that’s really a shame. Over all these years, one would think wooga would want to help keep loyal players happy! No! Wooga just wants to add and add more junk to the original game, and screw anyone if they don’t like it!

Apparently, the developers of this game must have lost all their personal wealth to gambling, drugs, or drink, because they need to reach into the pockets of their loyal players and grab as much money as they can. They do this by doubling the costs to buy the tools necessary to complete side games or to maintain a position in competitive clubs. The shame of it is that it truly was enjoyable to play, but more often than not nowadays, I am truly appalled at myself for continuing to play. Today's disappearing side game (that many people had worked on for hours, and paid for that pleasure) came back with all progress and any investment gone. Maybe sometime tomorrow, they will send 100 energy points (practically worthless) and assume they have placated the displeasure. Many of us will never know because this is one time too many and we will gone. Others may wander back again from time to time, but I can guarantee the Wooga team, that many loyal spenders will not waste another penny on this game. My advice to the uninitiated: stay away from this game.

Never Again
I’ve spent a considerable amount of money on this game because I used to really enjoy it. It was engaging, interesting and unique. After the ridiculous fiasco of the Detective Partners game this morning, Wooga/Playtika/whoever won’t be getting any more from me. It was a blatant slap in the face for everyone participating whether they choose to pay for resources or not. You took a great game and turned it into your downfall. Congratulations.
Frustrated
Wooga’s can flip over backwards to take a side game down, reset it and put it back but have no respect for players to explain why or apologize for lost resources that were used before they took the side game down. Wooga’s just set a horrible example to players once again in the worst way, if thing’s are positive for us it will be taken from us.
Money pit
Years ago this game was fun! Ever since Wooga took over it has become a money pit! And there are so many glitches that loose your energy and diamonds. Think twice if you can afford this game
Watch out on this one
They will roll out side games, wait til you almost finish them, remove it after you spend resources and put it back for you to start ALL OVER without giving you back the resources you used-true story. Beware of Detective Partners side game inside. They say “we will compensate you later” and you will get a link for a measly 50 energies to start the side game again. Such a scam.
Lost progress
I was almost done with the partner mystery games yesterday. Open the game today and I lost EVERYTHING. All my progress all my partner's. Things like this happen with this game. It sucks. I have been playing for years. I am over 1000 levels and this is just now happening.
Crashes
I did as June’s Journey said, I twice participated in Sweep The Board, and was supposed to receive the hot air balloon. But they didn’t send it. What gives? You play by the rules and don’t get the prize. This is not the first time.
When I click on the link either in my email or on June’s Journey Facebook for a prize, the game crashes and I never receive the prize. This has been happing for a month.

New Age
The storyline and gameplay aspect of this game was fine until the involvement of new age, greek mythology, and divination which is ridiculous.

THEY’LL GLADLY SUPPORT THEIR FAVORITE CHEATERS LIKE DALLIANCE (THE HANGOVER) BUT WONT GIVE HONEST TEAMS A MOMENT OF THEIR TIME. THEY ARE EVIL, CORRUPT and DESPICABLE.

I have been playing the game for a year, and find it engaging and challenging, until yesterday. When you reach a certain level, game only gives you 18 sec to locate 15-18 items in a crowded hidden object scene in which 1-4 of them are new to the scene. The goal is to get you to purchase ( yes with money) more time so you can win the game. That is not gaming that is as other rater stated, a money grab.
Was good but not anymore
I have been playing the game for at least two years and I loved it until the last few months. The ads that constantly boot you off the game. Not getting all your tips when the your team mates take your drinks. All the different side games that take away from the game. That you have to spend money to get things or you can’t get them. Not everyone gets prizes, I have teammates that get watch ads for free stuff and I have never received them and over half my team have gotten them. Need to make it fair for everyone on the team. We have team players that have left for all these reasons and you can find anyone who wants to be on a team anymore.
Money Grabber
I have been playing JJ for over 6 years (even though they have it in their records 5 years 🙄). In the beginning, all those years ago, before Playtika bought out Wooga, the original maker of JJ, this was a BEAUTIFUL game. The stories were sweet and lovely and I really enjoyed buying items and decorating islands. It WAS a 5 star game. But since Playtika (AKA Game Killer), bought it, it has gone completely, idiotically WOKE. It takes place in the 1920s, and early on, the stories and items were lovely and elegant. You could also play for free. However, WOKE was not a “thing” in the 1920s. Very stupid move, Playtika!!
Fast forward 6 years - today? You really have to be on a team to get ANYWHERE, and being on a team? Is expensive. I suggest you do not start this game unless you have the money to play it. My biggest complaint? In the beginning, Jack and June were a couple. It was a beautiful love story and could have gone on to build a family and continue the Jack and June love story. However, instead? They broke them up and now? I have no idea what is going on because they keep adding expensive side games and June has about 4 stories going on that actually make no sense. I am one of the few who started all those years ago that still plays. I would be gone myself because of the money I need to spend, and because, the items are rarely new - laziness or saving bucks is the rule of this JJ game I no longer recognize. I stay and play at a reduced pace because my team captain is the BEST. I just cannot leave her.

Spend money for nothing
You can’t move forward without spending huge amounts of money and even then the rewards are terrible. Not worth it.

I get to the end of chapter 2. I get the bestest friends reward then I’m forced to click on claim and place the game crashes. Rip off
I just spent $13.00 on the cards, etc for Dective Traits and it ofaal the cars I only received five good ones. What a rip off half of my scenes only have one on two and the others fourorfive, not purchasing any more. This has happened to five time
Accused
I have been playing this game for a few years now and because of that have accumulated many resources and will open a lot of them sometimes. Recently my club lounge was removed, when I reached out to Wooga the told me that my account was flagged for cheating!? I have never once cheated in this game and have even paid for some things. I have seen this also happen to many other people through online forums. They told me I can either continue with my game or restart. I just don’t see how this is fair if something was triggered and I’m being punished for simply playing? And to be accused of cheating? Something needs to be fixed because this is just not fair.

Corrupted game format
I’ve been playing this game for years and the ads have been ridiculous, but now an ad corrupted something on my device and it locked my device up to the point it froze and wouldn’t do a thing. It wouldn’t let me clear the game off(forcing off wouldn’t work), it corrupted to the point that I couldn’t clear ANYTHING on my screen. Not even things unrelated to the game. It took me over an hour to finally fix the problem. I deleted the game and I doubt I’ll ever reload it again.
To much going on
This app starts off ok, but the higher you go, the more challenges they add. I got to level 23, and they added another challenge, and then the game wouldn’t load. I tried for 2 days to load it, then decided to delete the app. Wasn’t worth the hassle in my opinion.

This game has a sneaky way of sucking you in to paying money so you can finish a detective challenge. The reward is lame and you spent money. Don’t play this game!

I thought updates were supposed to be helpful? Every single time I update something else goes wrong. I used to enjoy this game…not so much anymore. It’s really gotten bad…
Storyline is fun, some tasks still impossible
The special rounds, like Detective Partners and Sweep the Board are next to impossible and will tell you to find objects that aren’t there. One round it will ask you to find something, and then it will never ask you to find that thing again, which means the object was never there. Zooming in and moving the screen around does not make the word light up like it’s supposed to, which means the object isn’t there. There’s never a free hint when the game asks you to find a nonexistent object, further proof that the object was never there. It is a scheme to steal diamonds and money. The Secrets levels are impossible to pass. The 13th round of this recent Secrets contest gives you less than 1% progress for a perfect round. I make almost no progress even with 20x the points. Good gameplay yields no rewards. Sometimes the object is covered by the word. I just had to spend 35 diamonds on Sweep the Board because it said “times up” even though I clicked the last object with one second remaining. I routinely have to click objects more than once to find them, which wastes time. Sometimes more than one type of item is given the same name. For example, sometimes a wooden arrow sticking up from the ground is called a signpost and sometimes it’s called an arrow. Sweep the Board used to be challenging but possible to win. After the feedback survey, it has been impossible. I doubt anyone said “Sweep the Board is too easy. I hate winning things. Please make it impossible so I can waste my time and diamonds.” I don’t even play the extra games anymore because it’s just a frustrating experience that I don’t need. The clubs are fraudulent. One of the clubs competing this week “earned” over 14,000 league points on the first day before there was even a competition. It should also be easier to get rid of club members who are inactive and don’t contribute, so that active players can join the club. This game has stolen countless diamonds and energy, it’s ridiculous. Luckily I never paid for anything in this game, and you shouldn’t pay either. I will never give money to cheaters. Don’t waste your money or time!
There are better games to invest your time and money. This game is untrustworthy.

Scam Alert
I used to like this game but when I purchased items, I would be double charged. Whenever I disputed the charges, they would not refund my money. So, they stole my money. It’s a scam. Too bad. I was a fun game.
Not fun anymore
This game used to be the best. But they must ruin everything.
Issues with Server
I am playing this game to get rewards, one of which is to play so many days within a certain window. This game has had issues connecting to its server for two days now, causing me to lose progress on my rewards. I’d hope they would at least try to correct this if they care about their players. I have made in game purchases that I now regret. I am not having any issues with any other games so I know it isn’t an issue on my side.

Fraud and false advertising
The pay-to-play model of this game has been getting worse and worse, but now it's just gone off the deep end. Multiple times in the last couple weeks a prize has been offered for completing certain events or tasks, and never actually sent. This is false advertising at best, and fraud at worst. Apple should look into this and consider banning the app.

Profit over Players
I have been playing this game for several years. It has many positive features and it's great for either group or individual play. At first you will enjoy all the elements and challenges. However as you continue you will find in order to move on you need to purchase gems and other items. I didn't mind supporting the game at first. Then the platform was sold and it became harder to enjoy playing. Players who spend more money are given better rewards and priority. Help and support is basically nonexistent. Sad that they prioritize profits over loyal players.
Very poor customer support
I like the game but I purchased a journal related to the game with a promise of a free in game decoration item. I have not been able to get it. I contacted customer support through email and then through the app 3 times. I can’t believe they closed my ticket 3 times with no resolution. I am mad. As far as the game I spent about $10 but won’t spend more. They actually increase the cost each time you spend. On Facebook we discovered costs vary by player. Also difficulty varies by player. I recommend the game but beware of the admin.

Money grab
Game has become very greedy in the last two years. I will never again spend money trying to advance as the packs you purchase only contained useless stuff. I used to really enjoy the game but the side games have gotten very excessive.
I used to love this game
I had this game for several years, but the side games trick or sucker you into spending money (which I did) but I had to quit. I reinstalled a few days ago to start over, and not spend money. But a few rounds in and there’s this side game, and that side game, the ads are twice as long, they trap you into the ad, I have to click to open the App Store in order to x out, some do some don’t. The side games want to force me to play with other people, I had to close out and go back in to get back to the actual game. I just wanted the seek and find and decorate a cute island, but there are 7 side games and 2 buy this bubbles on my screen. It’s constant rush rush rush, time limits and game this and game that. Come on! Give us a basic button for those who want the true game and not the noise. But you’ve backed this in there where you cannot complete or win anything without side games or spending money, and being trapped in long ads. So, I’m done again, for good this time. Not relaxing at all.
