Secrets side game changes unfair and I feel disrespected
I used to love playing this game. There are a lot of side games with prizes and if I spend a lot of time on them I can usually complete them. The secrets side game is the most work but there are great prizes at the end. I was ready to get started then I noticed I was only given 7 days to complete it with a maximum boost of 2.5. There is absolutely no way I can complete this side game in that amount of time! They usually give you 13 days. But that isn’t even the worst part. I found out that they only did this to some players Other players got 13 days to complete the task and a boost of 10. Why did you single out only some players? Why do other players get more time and a bigger bonus? This is so unfair! If I had more time and a bigger boost I would be able to complete this and get the prizes. I feel so demoralized I don’t want to play this game anymore.

Game is rigged to get you to spend money
Overall it’s a fun game, but it is rigged to get you to spend money. For instance. The partners mini-game. There is a prize wheel with 9 prizes meaning it’s roughly 11 % chance to wil any prize. I spun over 60 times and never won the top prize. The odds of spinning 60 times and never winning the top prize is about 1 in 1170. Statistically speaking, this would almost never occur.
I believe the algorithm knows when the challenge gets near the end, I will spend diamonds to try to finish a challenge, and diamonds means money for Wooga. It’s not that I’m very unlucky, it’s that Wooga is very greedy.
Of course Wooga will say that the spins are completely random. I don’t buy it.

Customer service sucks
This game can get expensive and I’ve spent my fair share to say nothing of all the ad watching. I’ve now been waiting three weeks for their customer service to get back to me. I message them almost daily. These guys suck

Come on Wooga, you’re sucking the life right out of this game!!!! Why keep changing side games? Oh! I know players are winning. How many times have you changed Partners, 3 that’s how many! Secrets well you keep changing that one too! And you’re just repeating story lines, where’s the actual secret? My team can never finish club mysteries and forget about island beautifications, I think I may have finished it a few times. I also have been experiencing the game randomly closing and it happens frequently. What does your team say, they blamed it on my internet. Well my internet company came out to my house and replaced the hardware, all wiring both inside & out and guess what? They said it’s YOU! There’s no original game play fun, it’s not relaxing. You made it stressful!

Wooga Has Destroyed This Game
I started playing this game 3 years ago and it was fantastic. The best game I ever played. But since Wooga/Playtika has taken it over, they have ruined the game bit by bit, piece by piece. They have removed all the daily resources from the game you need to play causing you to now purchase those resources. They have ruined the best team competition and opened it up so now there is rampant corruption and cheating. Wooga knows this is going on and has chosen to do absolutely nothing about it. They ask players for their opinions but ignore what we say and change the data to support what they want to do. I would NOT recommend any new players to start playing this game.
Frustrating and unfair game
App. is sometimes frozen and says you can’t connect when you know your connected to WiFi and can connect to the internet. I lost my position at 475 and thought I’d delete the app. and restart my phone to reconnect to the internet. I ended up fertilizing g EVERYTHING and am back at zero so I decided to stop playing the game and keep the app deleted. I am so mad and frustrated on the time and money I spent on this app onto have this happen. They created don’t care. The progression is getting lame and boring, too many side games, they practically expect you to partner again after bad experiences with groups and you get penalized. With Sweep the Board, they speed up the timer after you get to the 2nd/3rd tier and give you more clues and less time to find them. The island looks big but around 475 you run out of room. You eventually get to Sunflower Island and it’s an ever smaller island with less room for your decorations, etc. So if I choose to go through all the clues and game from the beginning. Highly frustrating and disappointing. Their app doesn’t work and I paid the price!!!

I was close to level 1500 with many helps and decorations. Suddenly unable to access my game and,despite iCloud and Facebook backup, unable to restore game. Back to level 1.

I’ve played since 2018 and spent plenty of money on my JJ. I can’t play at all keeps crashing , game is updated everything is updated and won’t load and can’t play. I’m about to delete game.
Storyline is fun, some tasks still impossible
The special rounds, like Detective Partners and Sweep the Board are next to impossible and will tell you to find objects that aren’t there. One round it will ask you to find something, and then it will never ask you to find that thing again, which means the object was never there. Zooming in and moving the screen around does not make the word light up like it’s supposed to, which means the object isn’t there. There’s never a free hint when the game asks you to find a nonexistent object, further proof that the object was never there. It is a scheme to steal diamonds and money. The Secrets levels are impossible to pass. The 13th round of this recent Secrets contest gives you less than 1% progress for a perfect round. I make almost no progress even with 20x the points. Good gameplay yields no rewards. Sometimes the object is covered by the word. I just had to spend 35 diamonds on Sweep the Board because it said “times up” even though I clicked the last object with one second remaining. I routinely have to click objects more than once to find them, which wastes time. Sometimes more than one type of item is given the same name. For example, sometimes a wooden arrow sticking up from the ground is called a signpost and sometimes it’s called an arrow. Sweep the Board used to be challenging but possible to win. After the feedback survey, it has been impossible. I doubt anyone said “Sweep the Board is too easy. I hate winning things. Please make it impossible so I can waste my time and diamonds.” I don’t even play the extra games anymore because it’s just a frustrating experience that I don’t need. The clubs are fraudulent. One of the clubs competing this week “earned” over 14,000 league points on the first day before there was even a competition. It should also be easier to get rid of club members who are inactive and don’t contribute, so that active players can join the club. This game has stolen countless diamonds and energy, it’s ridiculous. Luckily I never paid for anything in this game, and you shouldn’t pay either. I will never give money to cheaters and scammers. Don’t waste your money or time!

The pricing feels manipulative. The more diamonds you buy, the more expensive the bundles seem to become, and the cost of progressing steadily increases. As you advance, goals become harder and harder to achieve without spending diamonds, turning what starts as a relaxing game into a frustrating money grab.
What bothers me most is the way rewards and progress are represented. The game often shows large multipliers and progress boosts, but the actual results do not match what is displayed on the screen. Progress crawls along despite what players are led to expect, making it feel misleading and unfair.

Bad Marketing
What kind of marketing do you call it when a company intentionally works against their better customers by setting levels, scoring and number of cases required in club mysteries so high it’s impossible to reach them causing frustration and anger versus incentive. I did not realize greed would be your focus. It’s a game. It’s supposed to be fun.
This game is terrible
First I was enjoying this game and was getting the rewards. When I reached level 5 there was the chance to spin the gold wheel. Only problem was where was the gold wheel? Couldn’t find it anywhere? Asked for help from the support team. They offered a support ticket with you submitting a screen shot of the completed level and date. This was rejected. Passed more levels to get the next reward and can’t claim. Terrible help from the support team as I couldn’t find a support ticket for the next reward. Totally useless.

Losing interest fast
Been playing since 2017 and now I’m just feel like I’m getting fleeced. And the ads all the time. Since wooga sold this to Playtika it’s headed towards failure. The games are more expensive and they change the line up all the time. Time to quit. Don’t bother they just want your money.
Too Many Negative Changes
Game has become more of a task to play. It used to be fun, now it feels like a job. I used to look forward to Detective Partners…this latest challenge took way too long, wasted a lot of time to complete. I need more time to myself to get a good meal and rest, plus also exercise…might have to quit game altogether, when the game becomes something that interferes with quality of life, something has gone terribly wrong!
Is there a real Help, EVER?
Twice now issues have happened. About a year ago there was 13K in hard earned ‘tips’ that just disappeared over nite. According to “Help”I spent them. No I had not. But they don’t care & tried to appeal SEVERAL TINES, only to be ignored. Now, this past week I purchased a packet to assist in one of my side games. Something I never do, but I thot I’d give it a try. So with *game* currency-diamonds, I spent 85 diamonds for a packet that I never received. Help was as useful as a drink umbrella in a torrential rainstorm. HELP (2) are by far annoying & worthless. There’s the bot, then after you’ve typed it up the event issue on these stupid/hard to operate message boards-(honestly the message boards of the 80s were much better than this JUNK) then you have to do it AGAIN bc bot #1 isn’t so bright & does absolutely nothing. Bot #2 is where the laff comes. No, you can’t c/p your previous message, that would be too easy, & bc the boards are too klunky. Whenever the message gets answered one wld never know bc the notifiers are pushed off too far in the corner hidden. I Like the game - but I never-ever spend my real money. Nope. Never. About 7 of us who’ve been playing 5-8 years have just about had our fill of JJ bs. Can it be fun-absolutely. Also draining. Even a bit addicting. And all the freaking ADS. You’re basically not allowed to breathe until you see an ad & that may require up to NINE (9) EXHAUSTING taps to get off your screen & resume play. I’m about ready to go to some of the games app & give them a review. Yes very exhausting ads - very exhausting taps!
Not worth it
Game can be fun but beware-gameplay will change based on your playing/spending habits and you will be “punished” for purchasing items with increasingly higher prices-prices far above other players. Also the better you do, the worse your outcomes, the higher the cost of in-game resources to advance and there is no policing of other players/clubs who blatantly cheat. So play, but only a little, if you want to enjoy it.

They have changed the game to the point it is no longer fun. They made them so that it is impossible to finish or win the big prize. The detective partners used to be 36,000 for each of the four clues now they 50,000. Unless you never sleep or work it is completely unattainable. I’ve been playing since 2020. I quit for a while when they started this sorta thing back then and I am about to quit again. They have taken the enjoyment out and made it like a job with so much pressure to even come close to winning. Horrible, it’s best that you don’t even start this game. The customer support is useless. They will only say , “ sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues have you tried reloading the game?” Or the classic,” I am sorry that you are frustrated. I will pass this along and we will take what you said under advisement.” They never take accountability.
What use to be a search and find is now just memorizing
I used to enjoy this game for the challenge of searching for and finding objects. It seems like the game is now designed for an elite few people who have hours a day to spend playing this game. Seems like it’s geared more towards addiction than casual play. Very unfortunate because it was a good storyline. Most of the side games require you to memorize the scenes before even attempting to play them because you only have a few seconds to complete the challenge before it ends. You can do the slow and steady but it takes a long while to earn Flowers to keep the story moving forward. You can get bored and lose interest in that time.

Manipulation and Greed
The game is fun. I’ll start with that. The one star is not because the game isn’t a fun hidden object game. The one star is for all of the red tape that the developers have all over this game. They are complete cheats, manipulators, and they think their players are stupid. What’s stupid is the storyline of a narcissist heroin named June who wears a tacky outfit in every scene while everybody else changes. They also don’t think we’re educated enough to know that their reference to half of the stuff they talk about or use as objects weren’t even invented at the term of the 20th century when supposedly the storyline takes place. So we won’t even get started on their bad history . Skip through the storyline by just hitting top to continue. It’s not worth it. Now they try to push a book on us. Is this a game? Sometimes you have to ask because they’re focused on so many other things than what’s made them popular.
I will give the artists that work for the developers credit for a job well done on decorations.

3. Perfume Parlor

5. Club Mysteries
6. Detective's Cabin
7. "Packing with" Missions
8. Help Wanted Cases
9. Memories
10. Travels with June
11. Travel Sets
12. Detective League
This is not including side games that are not currently active like: detective league completions (spot the difference, etc), or day challenges delivered to your mailbox, or special "play each day for a new reward" that happen around holidays.
There are also apparently two stores that do not connect to each other. Only one store is available in the app. I'm still not sure where the other is, and support has been no help.

Buggy
Maybe instead of paying influencers to advertise your game, you should pay someone to fix all the bugs first! Game keeps needing to reload and reverts progress. Total waste of time. Don’t bother spending any money on this one!

Changing for the worst
This USED to be my favorite game. No more however. Over the past year or so they have continued to make changes and not for the better. They have lessened times so it’s impossible to accomplish games. The have increased the amounts needed to clear a land. A lot of people are saying they are getting greedier and now I have to agree. Many people are leaving the game and I can see why. I’m not playing as much because it’s just not fun anymore TRYING to find everything in 23 seconds and not being able to. Very disappointed they continue to change so much!
Pushing an agenda
This game definitely has an agenda to push and it’s not shy about doing so. It uses the same technique as a lot of TV shows--don’t do it immediately, right up front. Allow the viewer (in this case, game player) to settle in and get used to things. It seems normal and mainstream in the beginning and then springs the agenda on you in a way that isn’t in-your-face. In fact, you even wonder if what you saw and read was actually what you’re thinking. The game then takes a somewhat long break before fully showing itself for what it is--a way to push a social agenda. I’d be more open about what that agenda is, but if I was, I’m sure my review would be flagged and not be allowed to be published. I believe most of you will know what I’m talking about. Personally, I have decided to not have any dealings with companies that do this. I think most people don’t care and will just overlook it. If that’s you, fine. If not, consider this a warning regarding what you’re getting into.

The developers have taken all the fun out of the game. After Five years of playing it they have finally made me want to delete the game. Side games are impossible to win now.
Use to be good
Wooga took 15000 diamonds off my account and gave me 48000 green badges. I live alone and hacking my iPad Air did not happen. Do you know how long it would take to buy 48000 green badges. Wooga won’t fix it and tried only giving me 970 coins for 48,000 green badges. This company is not honest or ethical
Scam Alert
I used to like this game but when I purchased items, I would be double charged. Whenever I disputed the charges, they would not refund my money. So, they stole my money. It’s a scam. Too bad. It was a fun game.

There is a lot to do but much of it requires buying diamonds if you want to finish the challenges. Multiple challenges and the main game running at the same time do not give you enough time to finish all unless it is all you do.Wooga has lost their way on this game.

Unfair charges
Lots of time I got charged for coins I never bought. The game is too costly and takes a lot to expand. Nice graphs and storyline but again too many problems with getting stars to be able to expand
Over charging
I absolutely love the game. My biggest complaint is when I buy packages that are for example…you show 4.99 but you charge me 14.99. I have now noticed that you guys have overcharged me in total about 100 dollars. I spend my money and except to be charged accurately. I have now started taking pictures to prove to my bank you are over charging me. Please fix this issue or give me money back. If you fix the issue and reimburse me for all the over charges I will change my review.
Detectives cabin
The game has lots of glitches. The adds don’t run. Very disappointing. Very good game if works properly. Detectives cabin doesn’t give you all the points when you finish it on second trial with using extra coins.
The Further You Progress, The Less You Win - With Customer Support To Match
I’m a daily, long-term player who has invested significant time & money into JJ. While the core gameplay is genuinely fun, the experience changes drastically the further you progress. When you first start out, rewards are frequent, leveling up is steady, and the game is highly enjoyable. However, the longer you play and the higher your level, the less the game allows you to win.
Diminishing returns are now built into every aspect of the game. For example, in past Memoirs events, completing the album allowed players to use extra points for upgraded rewards. Now, the mechanics have changed to require completing two separate memoir albums in the same timeframe just to have an upgrade option-a task that is nearly impossible. Similarly, side games like Secrets have become heavily bottlenecked. I’ve been playing this game for years and do enjoy my teammates. The graphics are good. It’s fun to play, however, the ads seem to be longer and more frequent and are extremely annoying. I am on the fence about whether to keep playing or to leave. Since so much time is being wasted with the ads.
Love this game but....
I have been playing for several years. I find the story line engaging and there are many fun parts to the game. Recently I have noticed some glitches that are not enjoyable. Fairground Fortune often does not register my points consistently which I can forgive. But recently when I purchased a Vault I did not get credited for it. This made me distrust purchasing again. I sent a message but was denied. This game can get expensive and I have spent a fair amount to keep the play going. Before I delete it, I am going to challenge myself to play and spend no money!
Used to be more fun
Been playing since the beginning, now Wooga changes the time it takes to earn rewards to move on in the game and player gets less rewards. While technically you don’t have to use actual cash they are making it more difficult to play and there are too many ads and the ads have gotten longer and longer over the years. Extremely frustrating would like to continue playing, but it may be time to look for a new app

After playing for a couple of years with zero issues I purchased a pack with diamonds and didn’t receive it. Customer support is like no support at all.
