Unprofessional bully
Scamming someone who wants to genuinely learn guitar into paying $100+ to be degraded but left with the desire to want to learn and just have to keep going sitting through his bullying is really weird. Being good at guitar doesn’t excuse being a terrible person to someone paying you money especially.

None of the song are right they just throw a bunch of chords that sound right and bam it’s terrible no riffs just chords it’s giving me chords for songs that don’t have a single chord in them

Gotcha App
Signed up accidentally and immediately requested a refund, but it was declined !!! Extremely expensive app, the mistake costed me $99 and I never used it once!! Apple and author show no mercy or empathy for their users. Beware!!!
Unprofessional Services
I reached out to Justin Guitar around 6 times since I was charged twice for a yearly subscription. They didn’t reply so I requested my bank dispute one of the two yearly charges as it was an error. Justin Guitar removed my access immediately so I had no access despite paying $260 (overcharged $130). I reached out to Justin guitar multiple times explaining the situation and they never even replied. I’m not a review guy but this was the most unprofessional service I’ve ever dealt with and I would STRONGLY recommend avoiding this app
Bad App
Terribly difficult for a beginner. Assumes way too much knowledge. Tuner is a joke! Really stupid! Broke my E string today. 2 hrs trying to tune a guitar with this app sent wrth my time. Cancelling and moving on,Justin

Song removal
Removing songs I am practicing is just wrong. I had no idea you would randomly remove songs? May need to find another app
Just use the website, app is trash
The app COULD be amazing, however: The app doesn’t register the exercises as completed nor does it register the notes during practice sessions within the modules the majority of the time when played. Justin Guitar, for the $$$ charged for this app, we deserve better. I definitely regret paying the subscription for this app. Whomever designed and maintains the functionality of this app… do better because you are failing miserably. The website however, is great. Skip the app.
Chord recognition sucks
I literally have to play the notes multiples times at higher volume save yourself the $120/yr until they fix this

No one answers emails
Paid for one year subscription, was sent a email to download the app and then redeem my purchase. When I click the redeem button the app does not recognize my purchase. Sent three emails and no one responds back.
SCAM! Can’t cancel membership.
SCAM! The lessons are fine but they won’t let you cancel the membership. HOTEL CALIFORNIA! You can check out anytime you like, but they will still keep charging your credit card!

BROKE ME STRING
I was tuning my guitar with the app and it made me snap a string by telling me to continue to tighten it 💔
Great lessons bad app
The lessons are great. Unfortunately, I spend more time attempting to get the app to load. Deleting, reinstalling it takes for ever to load if it doesn’t crash. Very frustrating for such a great lessons.
It’s flipped
I cannot get the app to change to a right handed player

This app doesn’t actually function properly. It works the first several times you use it, but now when I try and open it, it just gets stuck on the loading screen forever. Bad group of developers who have no idea what they’re doing, unfortunately.

Serious difficulty with the sound interpretation
The content of the app is first class, but on my iPhone and iPad, the sound recognition/interpretation was so poor it ruined the exercises. Both my devices are kind of old so maybe that’s the reason.
The chord exercise that evaluates how well you’re holding a chord asks you to play the strings individually. When I do that my amp recognizes the string (it has a built in tuner), and a second tuner app on a computer also recognizes the string, but this app just sits there. Similar problem on the fast chord change exercise. It sometimes gets it right, but sometimes not, and even when getting it right I’m often sitting there waiting for it to register - not great in an exercise that’s supposed to improve your speed.
I really wish it worked better for me because I really like it. You can try it for a week. Maybe it will work better for you.
App not working
Lessons don’t hear my chords or strings accurately and also don’t show complete no matter how many times I do the lesson. I should be moving through the program much faster but this is holding me back. Super frustrating. Thinking about searching for a better app.
Only beginner courses offered
FYI the app version of Justin Guitar only offers the first three grades! They are free on his website which means this app isn’t actually a very good value.
Can’t recommend.
If you want to play the same to notes for a month with nothing new this is the app for you. Sucks I can’t get a refund

The lessons are great and it’s structured for beginners to progressively gain confidence in playing the guitar the correct way.
Accessibility options
While Content and operationally adequate, the app is severely lacking in visual accessibility options. The app has no internal accessibility Options and the app is not compatible with Apples, accessibility options. Specifically, there is no high contrast option, no color, adaption, options, and no reverse theme option making the app inaccessible for those with vision impairments even writing this review is difficult without these accessibility options available
Purchases
When I bought this, I tried playing a song that I wanted to play and then it said I had to have a purchase to play the rest of the song

Well organized play lists removed by Justin Guitar
I have been a subscriber for almost 3 years. Today i opened the app and all my well organized playlists were gone…I was not happy..
