Gimkit is more fun. It has a game to with math so Kahoot! No gimkit yes

I hate that you guys had to make all those improvements to Kahoot! I liked it to where I was able to play all my friends cahoots that they made and just other people’s cahoots and I was able to publish my own and they could play mine but now I have to pay for everything I can only learn math science and other things if I do any movie kahoots you only make sure it’s Disney and I don’t like it so I hate you guys for doing that because I used to love Kahoot! but now it sucks.

I am a nursing student and just wanted to TRY the app. I was offered a 7-day free trial, and when I signed up for it $157.00 was immediately taken out of my account. I tried to cancel immediately and get my money back because it was all I had left to my name and for transportation to school. I was basically told I’m SOL by both Apple and Kahoot! You are never supposed to charge at the initiation of a free trial, and to do the opposite is complete deception. & Apple is clearly fine with this. I am disgusted, disappointed, and I feel preyed upon. They deserve zero stars!

i couldn’t find the kahoot i was looking for but i know i follow the creator so i went to check who im following but there’s no way to. i contacted customer support and received no help. upon further investigation its been brought to their attention before and still hasn’t been fixed. it was acknowledged TWO YEARS AGO and still no solution. absolutely ridiculous

They charge hundreds for software that is over priced and if you cancel you have to cancel a year in advance. They will not refund.

It’s impossible to get a refund from this site. When you upgrade, they do not inform you that you have 14 days to cancel, I was right outside the time frame and wasted $156 for something I cannot use. They could clearly see that I had not used it. Big waste of money.

Kahoot used to be TREMENDOUS, the BEST quiz app, everybody said so! But now? TOTAL DISASTER. One-star, folks, believe me. They went WOKE! Used to be, you miss an easy question-BOOM-your screen lights up BRIGHT RED, the whole class KNOWS you’re a LOSER, very fair, very honest! Now? Great concept that is fun. However, money grubbing tactics and deletion of quizzes you spent hours creating makes this company completely insufferable. Not to mention it’s hilariously expensive if you don’t say you’re an educator. Forces you to buy a year subscription up front since they know people won’t come back. Scum company.

Extremely Difficult to cancel. I needed my wife to cancel it through Apple services because the website was non functional.
My child did not enjoy the product and did not use it even when I explained it would go away if he didn’t play it.
I love the concept, so it gets two stars, but the unreadable text and difficulty being able to cancel feels deceptive and intentional. Do not recommend.

My daughter wanted Kahoot, because she told me she needed it for something she was working on. It served the purpose, which is why I gave it two stars. Then she did not need it anymore. I went to cancel our membership. I tried. And tried. And tried. Every way I could. But there was no feature that directly said “if you need to cancel, click this button”, or anything like that. The contact form had irrelevant questions, some of which I had no answer for. So I couldn’t submit it. I tried to find some other way to get in touch, or to cancel, but I just went around and around. There was no one to help me, not even AI customer service! After over half an hour of fooling with this unhelpful site, I gave up. I stopped the automatic payments. I couldn’t think of anything else to do! And now I’m getting repeated emails about how my card has been declined, and to add some other form of payment! Take the hint already! We no longer need this site. All we wanted to do was unsubscribe. But it was impossible. So I suppose we’ll get emails we can’t even respond to, forever and ever. Unbelievable.

I had a 105 day streak and it logged me out and said that I have to log in could not get my password to work so when I hit reset password it doesn’t want to send to my email or any email it was fun but lost progress on the days 😤/😩/🥺

They added this new feature where you have to put in your DOB and you email with password. Im CONSTANTLY putting in the email that I used for my account and it’s saying it’s invalid? I literally just got locked out of my Kahoot account for no reason. Can someone please explain why?
Useful for studying but poor tech
You cannot see your followers or whom you’re following, which is crazy. You have to manually search the username for people you’re following every time you want to view their kahoots. Also when you update questions and save it, it often doesn’t save so the error is permanent essentially. It is hit or miss if it updates you when someone you’re following posts a kahoot. Making practice quizzes for school is very helpful but the lack of tech is very frustrating. It’s also incredibly expensive for how bad the tech is. They definitely should invest in the tech.
Saving your own Kahoot games.
Kahoot is a very educational and fun tool to use in school, home or just in general for a fun trivia. Although, what makes me mad is how you have to manually save your own Kahoot instead of it automatically saving on its own, I was creating a fun trivia game for me and my friends. After about a hour of hard work I made about 24 questions, and then I existed the app (without closing it out of my windows) to find some more information for the quiz, when I opened the app again every. Single. Question. Was gone. I was furious, all of my work went down the drain.
If you love making quizzes for your students, family, or friends. Kahoot would NOT be the right app.
