Horrible app. No actual English content
The UI is in English, as is the app description, so you might think that they provide content in English, too, but no. Only Filipino and Korean. (Sure about the latter, guessing on the former.) Given that Kakao is trying to take down all the English scanlator sites, you’d think they’d actually provide an alternative. But you’d be wrong. Horrible app. It’s hard to even imagine what kind of people run Kakao that hate the manhwa readers so much.

Beyond over charge and I’m almost 100% positive, it goes to them and not the author. Just a selfish organization. The app really isn’t even that good in its self. Barely have much to read, unlike many sites/apps. Charge a ridiculous amount. Just feel cheaply put together. Just a hot mess. Idk how others read on here. But that’s just my opinion. If I could give zero I would. Highly don’t recommend

Tried out this app on iOS, and it is absolutely terrible. There is no English support, so I have no idea what I’m reading. UI/ux is not intuitive at all. I really wanted to give this a shot, but everyone should avoid this app for the foreseeable future. Plenty of better options on the market.

Reviewed this app, talking about how awful it is and kakao is as a company. However, it seems that my review was removed. Do not support kakao, do not use this app, and avoid this company like the plague. They are horrible and make glitchy terrible harmful apps. Avoid.

Easily the worst app I've ever used.
KakaoPage is a nightmare for international users. Want to read mature content? Too bad-age verification is locked behind Korean phone carriers. Trying to pay? Good luck, unless you’ve got a Korean SIM and a miracle. The app’s UI feels like it was designed in 2010 and never updated. And the endless parade of recycled isekai plots? Exhausting. Meanwhile, global platforms are thriving while KakaoPage clings to outdated policies like a stubborn relic. It’s frustrating, inaccessible, and tone-deaf to its non-Korean audience. Fix it or fade into irrelevance

App Crash 🚨😤🔥😡🤬
This app crashes on an iPhone 2020 SE, what are you doing with your updates? This is only five years old. Yes I can read with it! My hands are tiny so they don’t get in the way of the letters.
Horrible, just Horrible
ComicK, a piracy site allowing you to read a wide variety of manga, manhwa, and manhua, recently shut down a couple of days ago. The UI was amazing, you were able to make customized reading list, the community was interactive and very nice to be a part of, and on top of all of that, it was FREE!
That was all taken away because of this greedy and malicious company. Not only did they get this site shut down after it’s been in use for YEARS, they also paraded their “victory” on a Twitter post like they were doing a public service.
On top of all of this, I also only learned recently that these guys have some very predatory business practices and treat their artist like trash. There’s even an article out there about a female artist whom they literally forced her to work while she was pregnant and the stress led to her having a miscarriage. You can probably find info about it with a quick Google search.
I might not be able to do much since I’m just a regular guy from the states, but I will HIGHLY recommend not supporting anything that these guys are affiliated with.

Frustrating Experience
This app is extremely frustrating. The interface feels outdated and hard to navigate, pages take forever to load, and there are constant glitches that interrupt reading. On top of that, the payment system is confusing and unreliable, with purchases sometimes not showing up at all. Customer support is unresponsive and unhelpful, making it impossible to resolve issues. Overall, a very disappointing experience - I wouldn’t recommend this app to anyone.

This app is actually terrible, trash quality, trash ui, the library is tiny, there is no reason for using this app. If you want quality, go to naver webtoons. At least they focus on quality instead of directing all their effort on shutting down better sources.

serious note: huge paywalls with extra bugs, would rather use youtube kids instead of this failed abortion of an application. it crashes often but expects me to hand it money just to enjoy crashes? no thanks would love to use cyberpunk 2077 for that feel in a one time payment on a old 2013 laptop. search engine is hotdogwater, Ul looks like something made by a group of 2 year olds who didnt drink milk and were forced to write the code. Your app is horrendous to look at too btw.

I really tried to pay for contents, but I can’t pay unless I have some Korean company phone service. This probably loses lots of potential readers who genuinely want to pay for legit contents and lead to piracy.
돈을 내고 보고 싶어도 낼수 없게 되있네요. 요즘 번역기 잘 되있어서 K 콘텐츠 잘 팔릴텐데 왜 이렇게 막아놓는 건가요.

I would love to be able to use this app to read solo leveling but I just can’t read it since it’s not in English
TTS 기능 수정요청
읽어주기 중에 문장간에 간격이 너무 빠르게 지나갑니다. 간격에 텀이 좀 늘어났으면 좋겠습니다.
그리고 전반적인 TTS기능의 퀄리티가 떨어집니다.
조금만 더 퀄리티가 좋다면 카카오페이지의 작품을 더 많이 이용할수있을텐데 아쉽습니다.
