Useless app now
My Kik stopped working after a update the first of June 2026 the new update today didn’t fix anything!! Useless if you can’t use it!!! Been on this app for a long time but now it’s turned to junk if you can’t send out a update to fix this mess!!

Completely freezes my phone, crashing everything, before the app crashes itself. Can’t even connect now on a fresh install without it freezing. Also makes the phone lava hot, being the only app to do so

I haven’t used this app since around 9/10 years old but there were so many pedofiles and I fell personally damaged. I should probably sue this company. Anyone that reads this and is willing to back me I will split the lawsuit 50/50. Kik promotes pedophilia and especially when I was a child. Any lawyer reading this I would also split the lawsuit with 50/50. Kik was a sick, grotesque platforme for child porn.

This new update will let me open the app but it won’t give me the option to input any information, so now it’s useless and I can’t use it. Please fix whatever you did please!

or other names till somebody comes to read this to steal username ideas off this review report. your app platform simply Automatically does not want me joining and creating an account, EVER! I’m 35 years old.

Why
I have been stalked repeatedly by one person who keeps making accounts just to harass me. He should’ve been IP banned by now. The sexual culture has killed real human interactions and real conversation that doesn’t involve sexual chat. Disgusting app that USED TO BE GREAT.

This app has changed for the worse.
I use to use Kik very often from 2015 through about 2018, when it was good. I only downloaded it because I was curious to look through my old messages. This app has changed a lot, I can’t say in a good way. Nowadays it’s just another weird, uncomfortable, inappropriate app for a bunch of strumpets, but I can see why this can attract certain strange folk. Also, I’m aware this is most, if not every app now, you’re bombarded with ads constantly, I can barely open a message, search a name without them, these ads by the way are just more harlots, and of course have to pay for a premium for no ads. $3 a month may not seem like much, but for an app like this, it is, it’s unnecessary nor worthy. All these negatives here were not a thing back when I use to use it, it’s really changed for the worse, I was going to go back to using this app regularly again but not anymore. Also learn how to use an AdGuard ya’ll!
Updated my phone and can’t log in
Is kik still open? It won’t lent me log in on my phone i It just keeps closing the app. Hmmmm
Messages not received
None of the messages are loading unless I’m on the app. If I exit to go to another app and come back to Kik, I won’t get any messages that were going on. I woke up and only started getting the ones from the time I woke up not the time I was asleep

Thai app can get bug and it need to be fixed because when I try to login it immediately gets me back to my homepage of my phone…. I am still waiting for it to be fixed.
False reporting problem
Yeah long story short I have over 5000 days on this app. You can spam reports literally, you can keep hitting tthe report button and it works for them, imaging talking to someone in video chat and it all turns off.

Update still a glitchy POS.
Used this app for years but now it no longer works on iOS. Sure you can download it and sign in but to get any to send or messages to refresh you have to force close the app and relaunch it. Been like this for months. I was waiting to see if there would be an update to fix it, but doesn’t seem like the developers care. Several “updates” but still no fix and no support website to report it.

Ungodly amounts of spam. Like seconds after you create an account you will get spam. The livestreams are lonely guys cranking it, bimbos begging for money, or people openly selling CP. The entire app needs to be nuked, and the developers need to be faced towards a wall. Literally go hang out/hook up with a homeless woman instead. It’ll be a better experience.

There was an in app prompt for a “free beta version” of their “ad free” version. Well, despite the screenshots I have showing it was marketed as a “free beta” they charged me anyway in full. Apple Store says no refund. Developer said to contact Apple Store for refund and said it’s Apple’s problem not theirs.
This has always been a questionable app but I honestly thought they were actively improving the user experience. Turns out they are just defrauding people now.

Issues with no end in sight
I use to use this app from time to time but now it’s got a mountain of problems, chunks of ads, thinks take months to load or don’t even load at all, the app crashes consistently, logging in is a hassle recently because it can’t verify anything and that’s just a few off the top of my head.
