Pay to Play Only
If you’re looking for a casual game for fun. Don’t bother. The game is full of toxic people who shell out hundreds of dollars for events. If you don’t spend, you can’t ever win.
Frustrated
Doesn’t take player feedback seriously or even listen to player concerns. Takes away core aspects of the game because it doesn’t make enough money. Won’t refund packages for events that have not shown up in over a year.
So much
I’ve tried playing this game three times because the ads make it look fun. The tutorial alone is so much information. Its leads you though nose and doesn’t allow you to explore anything at first. Can’t restart. Very overwhelming.

98% of the games characters are white. Severely lacking in diversity. 1 point for allowing swapping of genders for love interests, but overall, 0/10 would not recommend.

Yeah a lot of fan service and just honestly really corny and boring, if you’re a millennial and boring and make how much you need coffee jokes and corny then this is your game, but yeah wouldn’t recommend.

Casino-Style Sunk Cost Fallacy
The concept of a game like this is very simple. You grow and outdo others based on either (a) hard work and dedication, or (b) who can spend the most with virtually no limits. Opting in to investing in the game allows you to build your character and assets, giving you advantages that you have invested in. But every year, the game “merges” server groups, pooling more and more “spenders” heavily-invested in their gameplay into fewer and fewer servers, groups, and events.
With each annual “merge,” players are driven further and further down the rankings, despite how high they had previously climbed. This requires people to spend even more than previously to sustain the gameplay they were once used to, getting effectively zero “return on investment” for feeding their account. All the while not wanting to quit because they already put so much in (sunk cost fallacy).
If a person has the self-control to not put hardly any real world money into this game, it can be fun and rewarding long-term. “Free to play” players live free of this casino gambling psychology and simply play events and earn items and grow for fun. But if you ever invest any decent amount of real money into King’s Choice, the thing to understand is the game as a business venture will never be on your side. Everything is engineered to force players to continue spending significantly to enjoy any real perks, no matter how much they have already put in.

I literally cannot get back into my old account. I’ve done every method of log in and went on the server I was on and I still can’t access my account. This game needs to fix itself. Waste of money

If your child is under 18 years old you should not let them play this game! If you are an intelligent parent you will obviously see that the lovers are barely covered up and make life body gyrations! This is absolutely inappropriate for children or tweens!
Can yall make a game like the adds?
I’m only giving one star because the game isn’t like the adds. Which I Was so disappointed when I downloaded this app. just to find out that it wasn’t like the adds at all…can yall please make a game that’s like the adds? :(

The people I’ve met and the relationships I’ve formed. I’m in one of the top alliances in the game. Most of us have backed off spending and it’s getting harder and harder to compete and win. This is gambling at its finest. Before you download just know, YOU CANT WIN WITHOUT SPENDING. The fun is gone, the developers do not care about its players nothing is free.

I did see some players who I have gotten to know well spending literally thousands of dollars they couldn’t afford and maxing their credit cards but only a few were this vulnerable. I had enough fun to spend a few dollars every month, which I hadn’t planned to do, but could keep spending very manageable and in control. And while some events were overwhelmingly pay to win, some turned out to be easy to rank in well if you were strategic and saved up items, like the things used to increase knight growth.
Well, it has been nearly FOUR MONTHS since the last knight growth State Power event. I have lost almost all interest in even opening the app over the last month. What is the point when they lulled everyone into saving all their knight growth items for an event that never comes. Why would I want to play events that depend on knight power when I never get to increase it. It’s obviously to turn the thumb-screws tighter and get more spending from people when they already have to be making literal millions. People spend money on this game at a level I couldn’t have conceived of before playing. (Google King’s Choice VIP levels cost.)

Bait and switch
I’ve been playing this game for almost 3 years and while it is fun and addictive at times the developers are so focused on making events that force players to spend more that they are losing the essence of the game. What draws you in is the knight building and strategy of using the knights to win early events but the longer you play they take the events away that are important for your knights and instead introduce events that are all stamina spam making the knights you spent time, effort, and money building mostly useless. The developers also don’t listen to their players. No matter how much the community requests events to return they are ignored. I’ve invested a lot of time and money into this game and I’m starting to regret it. I hope they will change and find a nice balance of old and new events but as of right now it doesn’t appear that will happen.
