Pay to win! Lots of bugs! Don’t waste your time
Don’t buy ANYTHING! Once you do you will never get it for free again. They actually penalize you when you spend to get you to spend more. Ads are now at least 2 minutes! Just a money grab now.. pathetic! Devs never listen.. used to be a fun game til they got too greedy. You buy vip ONCE, and you will NEVER get it for free trial ever again. Same with elevate pack. Since I bought one of each MONTHS AGO, never got a single one for free since… 🤔 but they dance around that and say it’s a fair game 😂 explain why anyone who has bought any of those things NEVER have received a free trial afterwards!? Don’t waste your time, can play for free but know you’ll never amount to anything. Fun game besides that

Can’t receive coin after defeat
How in the loving god I’m i supposed to proceed the game if every time i lose i get no coin from the defeat battles? Like do you want the players to get stuck in one level until they get coin from the chest offline? Like you want the player to log out your game more often just to get a chance to get stronger? That will just make you lose more playerbase at that point, how disappointing

The Devs Don’t Listen
I’ll start off by saying I’m in a top 25 clan.
This game was really good and fun to play, but it’s been a constant theme of the developers getting greedy. With every update they take away something that lets people progress further in the game. Now there’s an update coming to limit the amount of revenges to help with. I know they are thinking that might help with purchasing the extremely overpriced gold packs, but the reality is these updates only hurt and attempt to take advantage of their biggest spenders. There is no loyalty, there is no reward, there is no love given to the people who are making them rich. To remind you of my first statement, I am a part of a top 25 clan, this feeling is unanimous amongst the other members who ALL spend to play this game. After these past two updates, I doubt I will continue to play. Our friend group is currently looking for a new game to collectively play due to the blatant betrayal from the devs.

Racial Slurs in Usernames
They allow players to use racial slurs in their usernames. I contacted the developer on Facebook and via email, but they haven’t responded. I can’t support this game if they allow this behavior.

Fake updates
They added x2 speed to the game just to slow it down to what was x1 speed. They should’ve just relabeled it x0.5 and x1 speed instead of falsely advertising it

Game has become old due to the fact that you have to spend sooo much money to even get something so basic. Honestly has become a rip off! This game will fail because of it

Played for 6 months
I played for six months, I spent money on the game, I was in a top clan for a while, and I can say this resoundingly: it’s not worth it! There was a major revolt over some nerfs. None of the tutorials actually teach you how troop positioning can affect your units battle outcomes, major pieces of the free part of the game are “under construction” but they are really just seeking ways to further monetize the game. Speaking of, their prices are completely outrageous. You don’t realize it at first, but you figure it out pretty quickly. It takes 512 one star units in order to reach a 10 star unit. And for 100 bucks, they will give you forty 1-2 star units. Sooooooo gracious. Save your money, there are plenty of better games out there that rely more on your skill.

I know all these games are all p2w on some level but this one is egregious. Even the non-pvp parts of the game relatively quickly stonewall you and it requires you to complete 300 levels just to participate in the community boss fights.

I didn’t make it very far, I kept getting pulled out of the battle preparation screen because I was “removed from clan” even though that doesn’t unlock until waaaaay later in the game. Seems like the best way to earn gold for more troops (which seems to have quite the cooldown) is to either pay or watch ads. It’s fine that they are optional, that’s the way it should be. Could be fun, won’t find out because as I said, I constantly get removed from clans I never joined.
Wants your money
Multiple times I’ve been stuck at different levels, usually levels that unlock things, and your either forced to wait or spend money, not worth it if you are not gonna spend, sad since this game seems to have potential.

Ad farming
This game was not like the ads, the battles last 10-15 seconds. Ads are 30-60 seconds if you want a normal amount of gold to upgrade troops. Battle pass and premium upgrades are outrageously priced. Play age of empires, fire emblem, or something else.
Crashes all the time
Crashes every time you go into the arena. Usually while you’re getting your coin multiplier and you lose all the coins in the crash. Ergo you lose the highest rewards in the game. Game ruining experience, but great if you’re selling booster packs, I suppose.
Basic game functions cost money
No really. Simple things that all tower defenses have like speed up time. And they move in slow motion on basic speed. For the money to play this one for a month I could just buy a tower defense game and have it forever.
This is a scam! RUN!!

No explanation for how the game works or what any of the numbers in the game mean (Hint: they are meaningless. Troop strength, attack, defense, etc have nothing to do with results.)

Developers continue to be greedy and unfair
Don’t waste your money trying to build up your collection, developers will just restructure the game to make your upgrades pointless within a few months each time. They banned my account for requesting a refund after one of their most resent updates that detrimentally impacted purchases. So now the well over 100$ I’ve spent was pointless because I can’t even play due to their unfair retaliation.

I spent so much time and effort on this game. The ownership and dev team only care about money. They don’t listen to community notes and their updates make the game worse not better. This is pay to play to the extreme and the ads are really annoying. Cool concept but they cause more problems than they fix. Also they just ban people they don’t agree with and censor speech. They also created a burner account to harass and threaten players saying they will throw them in jail and sue them.

Next are the gems (in game currency). The daily offerings are pretty good, but the paid stuff is all over the place. Based off the listing price of the different gen packs, the game gives away “$5-10” worth of in game currency every day. But the gem costs of purchases are very high and the troop value is low, and only gets lower as you progress through the game.
Lastly, there are the sales. The mathematical lies. Almost every single sale claims you are getting way more value than you are. As an example, a gem sale will say you’re getting “600% benefit,” which translates to 6x increase in value. But really you’re only getting 4-5x the value.
The value of gems becomes lower and lower as you progress. More and more troops are needed to merge to grow individual unit levels, but the stream of resources coming in doesn’t change very much, so progress is dramatically slowed down. At a certain point, the only way to make progress in any of the game modes is to either pay for gems, heroes, troops and resources, or be very patient while free resources build up, which will mean days on end of nothing significant to do.
If you can’t patiently wait for days for resources to make some progress, or you aren’t willing to spend a lot of money, this is not the app for you.

They really need to keep the game alive. It’s getting stale with nothing new offered. They have not even added new available prices in certain of board. Nothing new offered in terms of level up. Game is fun overall but they are giving nothing back a putting little work back into it. When is new update coming out? It’s been way over due
Decent game (Devs abandoned it)
Leaving 3 star due to fake advertising, why does upgrading heroes all cost the same rare hero cost the same gold amount as any other tier hero, then there a bug where your not even even in a clan but you get spammed “kicked from clan” constantly and it exit you out from whatever you were doing. Other then that it’s a pretty good game

So into the game, it’s a bit addictive. My one drawback is the cost for no ads. Most other games it’s just a couple of bucks on here. It will cost you $50 a month at least. Wish they would come up with a better package for no ads. After a while, I couldn’t afford it. You got a one to two minute ad for 20 seconds a game. If they offered something better, I would give the game five stars. I’ve just gotten to the point where I don’t feel like showing out that kind of money to play a video game on my phone.
