Don’t know how they accomplish it but if you leave a bad review it can be scrubbed. Lots of bad reviews are not showing up. Game continues to have serious service issues. You will invest significant time and resources and customer service will screw you. Don’t play.

Ok, after years of playing this game, here is what this game is all about: money! Yes, you can play this game for free, but it is a war game, you will lose all the time if you are not spending some money. The problem is that you are not getting anywhere if you just spend a little, the developer want you to spend lot more. Every event, they advertise a lot of wonderful rewards, but guess what you are not getting it. People who spend a lot more will get them. One time, I decided to spend $300 on one event, guess what I got? Right. I am still playing because I spend “lot mod money”.

I play this game years ago and was fun but right now the Game is dead u only see Payforwin players the wasted 1k monthly in the game and a lot of the time u see the same players with 3 o 6 farm bases so u think is new ppl join the game but is just the pro players creating new bases so they can boost they farms the game is unbalance 100% payforwin and am a witness how the devs use cheat to get advantage in the events or they active the events when they and there bodys are online so don’t wasted ur time

This game is good if it lets me play it I login and it works for about 10 seconds then it kick me out. And when I go to the map i can’t use my tanks to attack invaders if I try it kicks me out only can use two groups to collect resources. When I’m on the home page I only can collect resources then if I want to go to anything else it kicks me out of the game.
New officer images
These new images are awful, and should be deleted. They all look the same, and their movements are cartoonish, not real at all.
Please bring back the old images, they are far better and recognizable

Kiss of money
I have played this game for 3+ years. It WAS a fun game at first and then it turned into a money pit.
If you have plenty of money to put into it then it might be a game for you.But to just play for fun you will NEVER get ahead.

Coiner game
Another coiner game that makes it very difficult for people who don’t want to spend a lot of money to be competitive. I’ve played for over a year and have spent some money and I’m not even close at the constantly get matched up with developers and coiners is a real buzz kill

I played for about 3 years
This game started out great. The community is fantastic and honestly, the interactions I’ve had with the other players in game are the best part of game. It’s too easy spend money in game. The purchases seem justified because you will have an immediate advantage over most other players but unless you’re willing to spend as much as you pay for a small car every time they release new things that enhance your combat abilities, you’re going to get wiped out regularly by the players who are spending that much money. The game is constantly releasing new things. If the game developers spent a fraction of their profits to overhaul the advancement system to not have in-app purchases or micro transactions, they would have a great game. When cash grab games like this one are eventually banned, I doubt this game will be changed to keep the player base. I hope that the game developers see this and actually try to keep their player base when the ban hammer comes around.
UPDATE: The developer responded and told me that I can continue to progress without paid packages.

Avoid. Developer does not treat all players equally.
Upon loading the game you will see some fantastic graphics and engaging story as you progress. It is not until later that you learn you may/may not have access to all game features. Developer randomly assigns new players to game area (zone) that may/may not have full functionality. Unfortunately there is NO NOTICE provided to players when they are placed in a limited/ crippled zone. I have several game characters - a full HALF are in limited/crippled zones. This was not learned until progressing considerably in the game. Suggestions, correspondence, and complaints to developers are routinely ignored. Although developer is refusing to correct gameplay, if resolved in the future I will edit this review. Until then, avoid Tap4Fun products ( including “Kiss of War” and “Sea Raid).

Toxicity and harassment in uncensored chat
In the game there are dozens of people who are racist and harass people for no reason. Toxic players, ragers that scream curses in chat, and a overall pay to win- no, pay to play. In every single corner their are adds for something in the game, (characters, coins, etc-) in started out as just if you open the shop or click on your coins, but now there are bots in chat that are programmed to repeatedly say “{system}: GET THIS GIRL FOR ONLY $200!!! VERY CHEAP AND SUPER GOOD FOR TANK DESTROYING, HEALING, AND SHE INCREASES YOUR BUILD RATE BY 250%!!!” So it’s impossible to play without a popup or a “starter pack” to appear when your trying to play the game. If i could put -100 as a rating, i would. This game is absolutely horrible.
Bullying
You can’t escape the bullying in each zone. The creators do nothing. You can buy transfer points at 5$ each, but need 45 of these to move. Until the bullying stops, I am no longer playing.

Whatever you do don’t download this game unless you want to pay 10’s of thousands of dollars to be any good. The developers are greedy. It is free to play. But you will never be any good. Just when you almost spend a year geting an officer or a ship or a weapon maxed the bring out stronger ones. And the spenders max those out on day one. Then you are behind the 8 ball again. I super whale can destroy a whole server. The only reason I still play it is the people I have friended on it. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!
Don’t bother unless you spend $1k+ per month
This game used to be fun, even for low spending or free to play. You could still be useful and compete, even against whale spenders. The developers decided that in the last year or so all updates will only help big spenders and take away rewards for everyone else. The power differential is huge now. You used to be able to have solid base defense against all but massive swarms or rallys, now even with a good setup unless you are a whale yourself any single whale can steamroll you. Field fighting is nearly as bad where 1 or 2 whale marches can shred 6 of yours without trying. So unless you are willing to spend $1000 or more per month don’t waste time with this game.

Good if you Like to Waste Money
I have played this game for a couple of years. There are many servers to choose from. In the last couple of months Groups (guilds) that are in low range servers make up rules that effect your game. If you don’t spend money to get Big Weapons and troops, they simply destroy your base. Imagine taking 2 years to build troops and tanks etc. and your guild decides you’re not good enough. Kow doesn’t care, they will when no one joins. This game is not friendly for non cash players. The top players spend Thousands of dollars.

Fake reviews
This game’s reviews are 99% fake. It started out as a decent game but over time, it’s become clear that the developers of the game are making political statements. You cannot say anything remotely critical about China otherwise you get banned without warning and the enemy players (who happen to be players in China) can destroy your base and take everything you’ve worked hard and spent money on. It’s absolutely ridiculous how blatantly unbalanced this game is based on the race of its players. Apple needs to seriously consider removing this game from the Apple Store because it’s toxic and misleading for the non-Chinese player base. FYI I am Chinese and I am disgusted by how poorly this game makes China and Chinese players look. Now everyone who plays this game just has another reason to hate China and Chinese people.

Money grab game
Do not play this game, great graphics and fun gameplay, yet it is all about getting as much money off player as possible. They find ways to move things around so you have to basically start from zero in your advancement, but will have to reinvest in things you already had. You have been warned.
KOW steals from players
Started out as a fun game. Has increasingly gotten to a total pay to play game with each new update. The latest update actually stole from the players. It reset the ships to zero and refunded the components used prior to build them at about a 50% rate. It also did not refund or return the speed ups used or any gold used. This effectively is theft. Players should be financially reimbursed for moneys spent. I would tell anyone interested in downloading this game to play not to do it.

Bad ship update
This game is already a money game that milks you dry but in the latest update they milk you dry then laugh in your face
STAY AWAY FROM THIS GAME, SAVE YOUR $$$
At one point in time this game was good and fun. Now the devs keep making update after unnecessary update adding things that no one asks for, instead of fixing all the balance issues and the stupid “features” they add to the game. They have completely stopped listening to the players. Even the players that spend thousands and thousands of dollars on this game are getting irritated. Every update released for this game is catered to make you spend more and more to even give you a glimmer of hope of being competitive. This new update just STOLE money from everyone in the game. They reset everyone’s battleships back to zero, gave everyone maybe a 50% return on the battleship accelerators used, did not return any of the universal accelerators spent on the ship, and now added extra research. So when all is said and done everyone is weaker unless they spend more money on packs to try and get back to where you were. This game has been PAY TO PLAY for months now. This latest update is just a slap in the face while they rob us blind. I will do all I can to demand a complete monetary refund of everything I have spent on this game.

The game is ridiculously buggy, just about everyone I played with often have to reboot the device or are just simply kicked out. Customer service is infuriatingly slow. The purchase system is buggy, as I have not received what I purchased, again with terrible and slow customer service.
The developers launched an event, but neglected the scoring mechanism, causing both servers involved to miss out on rewards or even a score for the event. Customer service, as slow as ever, offered blanket and lesser rewards for everyone, but only after dragging their feet investigating the issue.
The chat and translations features only work some of the time, and there is no ability to share screen shots within the game, making communication with others nearly impossible unless you speak the same language.
There have to be better games using this engine than this hot mess.

And he will not touch my review because if you touch my review, you will be reporting because I do have a screenshot of this to google iCloud and Apple Maybe eight months ago still and then I played it even before that I wasn’t always yet. I’m owned by Hong Kong anyways I’ve seen some changes in this time. I wouldn’t trust this game anymore for one they pay you to give a five star rating they give you gold and elite men so that’s why they have such a high score rating. It used to be 4.3. The other thing is you better check your settings like your refresh app settings and tracking settings because even though you turn them off they go back and turn them on, I’m not lying. Seriously I really do do that. Amusing but oh so frustrating
The game is amusing but the matchups in competitions are horrendous, virtually always a tremendous mismatch, especially in the Raiders of the Treasure event. The alleged optimization of the event was a complete and utter failure and other issues in this particular event make it difficult. **update** extremely unstable on my 9th generation iPad, crashing, often, every 2-5 minutes making the game virtually unplayable on the device

Money pit
The best part of the game is the friends you make from around the world. The war part is a blast if you can manage to acquire anything you can fight with. It is absolutely impossible to gain any ground without spending quite a bit and/or being online playing most of the day. Too many events come back to back and new officers, weapons, ships are released every month or every other month. As a f2p it takes several months to level an older officer that I basically obsolete by the time she’s finished. I weapons are the worst as those are not obtained as rewards as often. Players make suggestions and developers don’t care. They continue rolling out upgrades aimed at taking your money. Just don’t start, that’s the best way to play this app.
