problems
The map will jump from 2D to 3 D just scrolling, add waypoints just touching, and won’t load at all without a strong signal. The info is good and handy but navigating is Frustrating!
Inaccurate
I tested it out on my property. Years ago I had the county come and precisely mark my property line so I can build a fence. When the fence was built I actually had it a foot on my side of the property line that was marked to be safe. Your I pulled up my address on your app and it is trying to show my fence is something like 2-3 feet over the property line. I know this is wrong because my former neighbor was very particular and if I encroached on their property for past 20 years they would have let me know. Also your app says my property is .34 acres which is way off my deed clearly says .76 acres. If you get this app you may get in trouble, I would rely on the city or county instead.
Having trouble
Maps have trouble saving, when adding lines to a map the point will drop 100+ft from “crosshairs” on occasion
Don’t believe the ads works horrible
Lot lines aren’t accurate owners aren’t accurate waste of money.
DOES NOT have accurate property boundaries
I downloaded this app to see property boundaries for properties I own. Looking up my home the app showed more than half of my property belonging to my neighbor. DO NOT believe the boundaries on this app.
Not saving
Keeps kicking me out each hour, deleted and redownloaded doesn’t help. Doesn’t save tracking.
not correct
I downloaded thinking it would give me more clarity on my property lines:( It is not correct.
I cancelled during trial period, still got charged and they keep charging me after I cancelled! ugh!

STILL BROKEN AFTER UPDATE ** 11/14/25 Black Screen can’t load anything
Not sure what happened but you can’t use the app. Anytime you launch it, it is a black screen and doesn’t show any information. Needs to be fixed
Isn’t working anymore
All I get is a black screen
What a joke
The app crashes. It’s overpriced. It’s also very INCORRECT boundary lines! Ridiculous! Do better!
Won’t open
App opens title screen then crashes.
Real estate broker
Doesn’t work at all you just pay for it and it won’t open
Past user with new subscription
I liked my last subscription. Now is so limited unless you keep paying and paying.
Inaccurate data and poor search engine
Purchased for determining boundaries. Used for 3 parcels, boundaries and land owner info for all 3 are incorrect. Search results are inaccurate.
**Completely Unreliable for Property Line Work**
I downloaded LandID specifically to help navigate property lines using known survey stakes, but this app was absolutely useless for the task. The GPS accuracy was so poor it’s essentially broken.
**Major Issues:**
- **Terrible GPS accuracy**: The app would randomly place me 50 feet on one side of the actual property line, then suddenly jump to 50 feet on the other side with no rhyme or reason
- **Constant signal loss**: Continuously lost GPS signal even in areas with clear sky visibility
- **Backwards directional tracking**: When I walked in one direction, the app would often show me moving in the completely opposite direction
- **No correlation with reality**: I was using a physical compass to verify my actual location and direction - the app bore no resemblance to where I actually was
For an app that’s supposed to help with property boundaries and land navigation, these GPS issues make it completely worthless. I was walking between established survey stakes and the app couldn’t even get close to showing my correct position.
**Bottom Line:** Save your time and money. If you need accurate property line information, hire a surveyor or use a different solution. This app is not ready for real-world use and certainly can’t be trusted for property boundary work.
Would not recommend.

Outdated Owner Info
A parcel I looked up was sold in February 2025. It’s now 7 MONTHS LATER and the owner name has not been updated. I reported the error but Land ID just blames county records. The new ownership was recorded with the county the day the sale closed. This app is worthless if info is outdated.
Not up to date
Not that accurate. The boundary lines and owner info is wrong or off on a lot of parcels
Bloated, expensive not practical
Thought I’d love this app. It’s way over priced. It does everything I don’t care for. For 130-140 a year it doesn’t even let me get basic info of the lot and I can’t even share a photo for $12 a month. Wild. No thanks.
Need to rethink pricing
I think this could be a awesome app, but at this price point to many other options at lower or even free
Over promised
Did not have the data that was promised and needlessly difficult to unsubscribe
Inaccurate Scale
When comparing your image view to the counties paper documents the land id scale is inaccurate. Your scale shows a homes being split 2-3 ways on other peoples property even when zooming in.
One star for about 1% accuracy. Fix it and I will change my review. 17Aug2025.

Only free trial
Nothing free about this app, you get a screen to sign up for a trial before you can ever see any of the inner workings of the app but they get your email. If you forget to cancel the trial then you get billed monthly for this app at $7 and up. I would have liked to see and test the functions without a required sign up of the trial with billing at the end.
Another highly inaccurate app
Did a free trial and immediately saw drastic inaccuracy in the mapping when I viewed my own and a couple of other properties that I’m very familiar with. Didn’t even match the city map that’s available to the public. Too bad, I was hoping to finally find an accurate app. To be fair, none of them I’ve tried was really worth consideration.
Costs Money
Forces you to sign up for a subscription and pay money. Parcel info is free online. Not worth it.
Beware
This app has been surpassed by other more useful apps. The information is readily available elsewhere and I don't see anything new or exciting here that I can't find for free or on another app for a similar price. It is also very difficult to sign into and to cancel. So once you're in your stuck with a product you can't use and don't need.
Paid Free Trail
Never Never Never trust any app or service that requires you to put a card on file in order to use their free trial this isn’t 1998 your not rolling back your date and time. Be forewarned there’s no way to cancel your account without 1st giving them your Credit Card information leaving your email exposed in the event of a data breach very shady company.
Just free GIS data
I got the same data for free from local county or state online GIS viewers.
Cancel Subscription
Not easy to cancel and no customer assistance
Too expensive
Too expensive and doesn’t work not that much information you can get the same info on Zillow
App update
Can’t get the app to open on my iPad ever since the most recent update
Paid subscription, but can’t open the app
Can’t open the app when I’m paying for a yearly subscription please help
Free
What is free when you have to pay to start using it?
Watch out
They say that you can get a week free trial then sneakily charge you for a year.
Fraudulent Charge
I clicked on a free trial for land id and was instantly charged $153.
Scam
Not free.
Inaccurate
The depicted property line cuts through the center of my house.
Login issues in app
Login doesnt work in app but same works on desktop
Forced subscription
This software is awful and I have no idea how it’s getting 4.5 stars. It’s basically a walking advertisement. They force you to start a subscription. The only way to find a location is to search for it by its address. There’s no way to create your own map or search by coordinates. That is unless you upgrade of course. There are plenty of online maps that do what this one does for free, including this one. Nope, uninstalled.
72 dollars
Not pay 72 dollars for a subscription to tell me if the land will flood
Crashes immediately
Crashes when I open it every time and I have the new iPhone 16 can someone fix this help
Inaccurate data and HORRIBLE customer service
I downloaded the Land id app after seeing an ad, intrigued by its promise of offering detailed property data with ease. My initial experience with the app was smooth, and I was excited to explore its features. However, things took a turn when I noticed an issue regarding property ownership data. Upon opening the app and navigating to a recently purchased piece of land, I was surprised to see my name listed on a neighboring property instead of the one I actually own. While I understand that Land id pulls information from public records and is not an authoritative source, this discrepancy raised concerns for me. Curious about where the app sources its data, I decided to contact their customer service for clarification.
Unfortunately, my interaction with their customer service was shocking and disappointing.
They informed me that the app pulls data from public sources such as county tax databases and other private sources. When I explained that the county tax database does not list me as the owner of either property, I asked what additional databases might be used to show me owning the incorrect property. Instead of addressing my concern directly, the representative became defensive, stating that they had already answered my question.
Despite my attempts to clarify that I wasn't accusing the app of wrongdoing but simply wanted to understand the discrepancy, they abruptly hung up on me.
If Land id uses proprietary or third-party databases beyond publicly available ones, they should clearly communicate this instead of being evasive. The company's publicly stated commitment to "humility," "active listening," and "learning from customers" was blatantly contradicted by this interaction. Hanging up on a customer seeking clarification is unacceptable and unprofessional.
While Land id offers innovative tools for exploring property data and mapping, this experience left me questioning its reliability and customer service standards. If discrepancies in data arise, users deserve clear answers or at least respectful communication. The customer service I encountered was not just disappointing, but downright appalling. It's clear that Land id's claims of valuing customer feedback and prioritizing learning are nothing more than empty marketing slogans. Given this unacceptable treatment and the app's data inconsistencies, I cannot in good conscience continue using Land id. Instead, I will be exploring alternative options that offer similar functionality with hopefully better customer service. Based on my research, some promising alternatives include:
MapYourProperty: Focused on real estate due diligence and land development analytics.
LandGlide: Offers aerial imagery with county tax plat lines and owners' names, along with basic parcel data.
Mango: A top alternative to Land id with comparable GIS features.
Maptitude: Another highly-rated competitor in the mapping and property data space.
ArcGIS: A well-established GIS software that could serve as a more professional alternative.
These alternatives not only provide similar functionality but also have the potential to offer more reliable data and, hopefully, much better customer service. I strongly advise potential users to consider these options before committing to Land id, as the company's actions have shown a clear disregard for customer concerns and transparency.

Useless as an agent and builder if the property lines aren’t updated
The properties are not updated which makes them pretty useless. I bought my property in 2016 which was split from a larger parcel and it still doesn’t show it.
Developments in my town that were developed 15 years ago-doesn’t have it. It’s hard to walk property lines when they aren’t even there. Would be better if we could take the town overlay and put it on there.

Address mapping not accurate
I typed in my own property address & it plotted miles away from my actual house 😖
Inaccurate acre info and not up to date property information
A lot of inaccurate information on acre size. I also use OnXHunt and it is very accurate compared to this app. Over priced app with not the correct information compared to other apps.
App Will not Open
I performed the new update and the app will not open. Ive paid my subscription and the app won’t even open.
Does not work
This app doesn’t work, doesn’t let me sign in and is janky.
Downloaded and deleted
Downloaded after seeing an AD online. As soon as i downloaded it i saw a 7 day free trial then a subscription would start. Instantly deleted.
Scam app…
This is a total scam app…beware do not sign up they are selling your credit card info…
Not up to date
The land we purchased two years ago was split into different lots, and the page still shows the original owner, owning all of it, and the new owners of the split properties are not listed or the property lines have not been updated.
Bad information
I looked up my own property and it has designated false right of ways, etc. they may generally tell you where lines are BUT right of way is important to knowing if you can or can’t walk through somewhere
It makes me mad that they haven’t done that correctly because it’s making private land look accessible
