When I started using LastPass it was free for both computer and phone. Now they want me to pay for a subscription to access to both. The free tier now only gives access to one or the other.
Breeched and Support is a joke
Not only have they had a major breech in 2022, but their support is a complete joke.

Seems to spend most of its time logging me out and then telling me to check my email so I can log in again. This has been going on for years now. No, it is not a new device. No, it is not a new location, you fools! I truly hate this app, which I will never ever, EVER pay for! I will freeload off it for ever just out of spite, it’s so bad. Lol

If you change your password by your mobile phone, it is not at all easy to update LastPass
Google auth doesn’t work
It shows Google Authenticator input and then when you put the code it just goes away and immediately comes back.

Removed family account
After “upgrading “ to Premium, my family was removed from our family account.

I really don’t know why I am still using this. Except that it is supposed to work over multiple devices. The interaction between it and other apps and websites is horrible.

LastPass uses a security email to sign in on new devices which is often the same device you used before. They send an email so you have to approve the login. But the email takes more than 25 minutes to arrive. I’ve had this problem multiple times.
This also leads to a new scenario where when you get a new phone, you aren’t logged in on other devices to your email or LastPass account and all of a sudden I can’t get the email because you’re logged out of it and you can’t log into LastPass because you can’t get the email.
I lost an entire account and all associated passwords.

Don’t use this.
Non existent customer service
Constantly logs you out, then won’t recognize your master password. When you try to reset your password, you get error message after error message. Customer service never responds.
Why bother?
If you’re here because login.gov recommended a 2nd authenticator app, there is no barcode scanner or way to manually enter gov’s required long-winded code. Interface is simple but unhelpful.
Customer Support
I’ve used LastPass for over 20 years and it used to be the very best way to store all my passwords. As a Premium member I used to be able to talk to a live support agent. Now, you don’t even have live Chat. I can rarely find the answers I need on your passive support pages and your support bot is useless. I do not feel heard, and as a longtime premium user this is unacceptable. Trying to work on a case via email is frustrating,cumbersome, time consuming and ineffective. I’m very disappointed in your lack of support options.

Don’t honor lifetime family accounts
Whoever owns or runs LastPass now doesn’t honor the original life time family accounts and require you to upgrade to their new premium accounts in order to continue to use the service on PC and Mobile.
Very dissatisfied
I have premium account. Im unable to sign in on all but one device and unable to get last pass support other than faq’s which don’t help

Enjoy scrolling through what seems to be slightly unordered lists of hundreds of sites because the search feature doesn’t work.

It used to be really great now it’s just a hassle
LastPass used to work very well, and now it seems every time I try to use it something is not working and when you try to reach out for help, you get stuck with a bot, even though you keep asking for an agent. For the money you paid to be a premium you would get support.
I can’t even log into my account. The instructions to link a new device do not work.
I’m sitting here trying to login into my new computer on LastPass and it won’t let me, it doesn’t recognize it, it won’t send an email to my verified account, in short, this app has become total garbage and I’ve used it for 10 years. I wish I could get out of it.

I set my master password and it kept giving me an error so I couldn’t get back in. There’s no support unless you know your password and IP address.
Secure Notes delete your notes
This app is garbage. Barely maintained. Secure Notes delete your drafts every 30 seconds. Can’t imagine what it does to your passwords.

I logged in my account several times with the correct password and now all of sudden it doesn’t work and this company has no way to contact them, and their articles are completely useless. Just use apple passwords.
I have been a user for years, but I’m leaving.
Their multi factor authentication sucks at best. It never works. You get stuck in this endloop of trying to login to get your password so you can put it into your program and this thing jumps you back-and-forth through Authenticator over and over and over. I’ve been paying Customer for years. This will be my last year.
Changes piss me off
Forcing me to download yet another authenticator app sucks. Ot locks me out of my bault while i select, download, set up the new app. It leeps me locked out. Premium user. You get the big middle finger salute.

Occasionally something goes wrong and you are required to enter the master password every single day or it doesn’t work. It’s been an on going bug for more than a year.
Once Great, Now Terrible
Doesn’t save passwords in safari. Premium support doesn’t allow login so can’t speak with a live agent. This app has gone to caca.
Terrible UX/UI
Whether the app or the website, these people do not know how to make a usable interface. And I'd give them the benefit of the doubt if they had security nailed, but some of us haven't forgotten that little thing that happened not all that long ago.

Used to be great, now doesn’t work!
Been a paid user for years and used on many platforms. This week, the iOS app started to malfunction. It won’t save anything from Safari. It has been such a waste of time trying to save passwords. Sadly, it seems like the app’s reliability has ended. Will look for alternatives.
