Optimized for premium subscription
Do not bother wasting your time downloading the app unless you want to spend money. Everything is optimized for a premium subscription of which they offer a 3 day free trial-which I would advise against.
Great app, cost too much
When I first got this app, it would let you save simple ones, several were unavailable unless you ponied up the dough but now it won’t let me even save those. Going to delete it.

The original app that is no longer available was so much better. This just reeks of late stage capitalism hellscape with the insane ads and premium locked things they previously just let you do. What a shame. Uninstalling.
Not sure how this is so popular
$60/year is wild. Free version doesn’t allow you to export photos including screenshotting the collage. Worst app!
Scam
There are two “Layout” apps currently in the App Store and neither of them are the original Layout app which was always free and had no premium options and didn’t put a tacky logo on the pictures. That or the original app sold out. Gross.
Christmas collage frames
Some frames from the christmas section have a glitch that automatically close the app when picked. I have tried the same frame but it closes the app when I try to edit it. Looks like a bug or glitch. At the moment I will leave my rating at 1 star because I am paying for the app and have issues with some frames.
Look elsewhere
This app used to have so many capabilities for free without ads. Now you have to have a subscription to save anything and can’t do much without an ad popping up. Am deleting now and looking elsewhere.
Not a single free use.
Years ago, used to be free. Now, you cannot export any single collage layout (even with a watermark) without subscribing. Users are giving up their data - at least give us free collages with a watermark in exchange. Not paying for the privilege of giving the app access to my data. Get real. Deleted.

Doesn’t save photos
I HATE that I can make collages and see them in my recents on layout but they are never anywhere to be found in my actual camera roll. So literally pointless app unless you want to ss the collages lol
Money hungry
You can save one picture for free. After that you have to pay their dumb subscription fee. You can even get away with screenshotting the preview to get around paying.

Can’t search photos
To find the pictures you want you have to scroll through your ENTIRE PHONE. It goes by apps, and most recent. Nope.

Case of a good app gone bad
The new update doesn’t allow you do anything. Example: you can no longer update a single photo. Nothing works intuitively anymore. You can’t add stickers. The borders have white lines. It became awful overnight. I’ve used the app for awhile, but it’s gotten worse in the blink of an eye.

I’ve been having problems of literally picking photos, and then while picking through, no matter how many it would just not work, and go out of the app. Not worth it! Either that or it needs an update!
Freezes & just paid $6.99 for nothing
Just upgraded and paid $6.99 for a week to do a newsletter, and it won’t even allow me to upload photos to their holiday templates. Freezes up every time. I’ve canceled my subscription, but have lost $6.99 for this week for something I can’t even use. Don’t bother with it.
Can’t add photos to the app
Every time I try to drag and drop a photo from finder it keeps asking for access to the photos app which has nothing in it. Im not going out of my way to add photos to the photos app then using that to add to the collage then deleting them later. Way too complicated. And this shouldn’t even be a subscription. Just sell the app for five bucks… greedy
Can’t save
Unfortunately, I had this app a couple months ago and it worked great but now they have changed things you can’t take screenshots and it doesn’t let you save projects unless you actually upgrade to the non-free version so what’s the point?
Can’t even use app!
It just remains on be first screen with their icon and a dial spinning. One time an ad loaded and I was hopeful... but nothing!

What on earth
The first 2 minutes were smooth. I was using this for an edit. But all of a sudden, I have to subscribe to make A SECOND COLLAGE. Not even a fifth or sixth. You get ONE free collage, then you have to start a free trial. Terrible app, do not use it.
