Pale imitation of ChatGPT and Claude
No personality. Just repeats the same words over and over. Things go completely over its head. It’s almost comical how bad Le Chat is compared to ChatGPT/Claude.
Forces users to sign in before they can chat.
Before you didn’t need to sign in to use this app you could get answers without signing in. Users should not have to sign in if they are just trying out the app.
Confusing account system
I’ve enjoyed using this app up until today when all of my chat history was deleted. I made the mistake of trusting the organization menu when it said (deleting the organization won’t delete the user). What they failed to tell me was that it erases all of the chat history associated with the user effectively deleting. It then cloned my profile and added both to a new organization with the same name. That fact that every user has to be connected to some kind of “organization” at all it ridiculous. And whoever made it to where my chat history had to be tied to one it an idiot and should be fired. This is insane. I might be willing to pay grok prices just so I don’t have to put up with the sheer incompetence from the team behind this app.
kinda terrible
am i the only one that’s really been struggling with this ai? idk why the reviews are so high. i switched to this app from chatgpt because i was looking for a more ethical option, but this ai frankly always gives me incorrect answers😭. for one, it CANNOT read any images that are sent. i sent it a simple picture of the wordle i was trying to complete, and it straight up kept giving me answers that didn’t even have 5 letters or had letters that i already guessed, almost like it wasn’t even reading the image at all or understanding the question. it also struggles insanely with any type of math or arithmetic. i tried using it for my math homework but gave up because it was always giving me incorrect answers on even simple questions. i will unfortunately have to switch to a different app but i gave it a shot and hopefully improvements will come
Small usage limits.
I was starting to enjoy using Le Chat until I reached the usage limit after asking 20-30 questions. At that point, I decided to delete my account.
Other LLMs offer significantly higher usage limits on their free tier than this one. I rarely reach those limits.
It would seem logical that a smaller company aiming to gain market share would offer higher limits than its larger competitors.

Still cannot connect via SSO
A great AI engine, but unfortunately, i cannot use it with my corporate account. The app doesn’t understand an SSO email address (automatically asks for a password, when there is none and one should be directed to SSO login). It works great on the website. It’s time to get the ball rolling on this guys !
