Company is non-responsive
I signed up because it advertised there would be no charge if I cancelled within the first 30 days and I wanted to give it a shot with my 4 year old. She had no interest in the game. It has a lengthy alphabet song that it tries to make you play at every level that she (and I) didn’t like, the activities were extremely basic-they aren’t even games, so it’s not interesting to kids. You’re supposed to move a slider with your finger while saying a letter’s sound out loud. That’s not a game. I completed the information of where my child was at with reading and it didn’t make sense where we were in placement-it was trying to introduce her to each letter and the sound it makes, and we are beyond that, so it’s even more boring for her. I emailed the company twice requesting a refund since we only tried the game for 1 day and I got an automated message saying they’re swamped with emails essentially-probably other parents trying to cancel. Now I have to call my credit card company to request they get involved for a refund. Waste of time.
Does not offer independence
The typed sentences should be narrated not a fan throughout the lesson he kept saying I can’t read this and there is no audio
Lovely app ruined by atrocious support
Got this application and pretty soon the five year old was totally addicted. Unfortunately at one point, a glitch occurred and said that we didn’t have an internet connection. Shutting down and restarting did nothing and inquiries to support went unanswered. For over a week I had a five year old asking me every day why he couldn’t use the app. If you are going to build something, charge for it and target kids and parents - have the common sense to actually support it.
It doesn’t sound the words out with them
It doesn’t sound the words out with them like it shows in the ad. You have to sit there with them and do all the work. I thought it was supposed to be a fun thing that my kid could sit on independently.
Meh
Good, but freezes too much. We restart this thing 3 times each session.
