Not very intuitive.

Doesn’t work anymore
I used to be able to add effects on photos that were in the photo album. Now I can’t and There is no way to get in touch with supper about it. IF nobody gets in touch to correct this, I’m gonna cancel the subscription-
It stopped working
Good afternoon. I wrote a review, and you replied that upgrading lux to 1.11.5 should fix the problem. I have updated the app to the latest version, but the problem remains. The app is not working. I haven't been able to use kgo for 2 weeks now, even though I paid for the subscription.
I have already written several e-mails, but there is no response to them and the problem with the application is not solved in any way.

The latest update causes the app to crash constantly. It’s useless now. iPhone 11 Pro latest iOS 18.7
App just crashes
Not sure why but the app is completely unusable and crashes every time. Not great after paying for the subscription
iPhone 17 Pro Max - nope
The telephoto lenses do not work on the new iPhone 17 Pro Max. I have paid version and app fails. So frustrating
Black Screen
Just doesn't work. Gave it all permissions and it's only showing a black screen. No viewfinder and unable to take photos.
Can’t switch to back camera anymore.
Used to like this app and frequently took photos with it, even recommended it to friends, until the day I couldn’t switch to back camera anymore. I would’ve considered paying for an app if it was a one time purchase, not a subscription. Not to mention, that giving people freemium functionality(access to front and back camera, and 5 filters) and then taking away access to a quite crucial part of it (access to back camera/lenses) is extremely petty and deplorable.
Got worse
I needed an app where I could lock controls like exposure and white balance, and despite trying to do that, it always shifts. It also doesn’t properly represent the exposure while shooting- my images are suddenly way overexposed when I import.

I don’t know if the app is good or not, and I don't care about the 7-day trial. The process is dreadful because I have to remember to cancel if I don’t like it. You could’ve easily provided a cardless trial.

Useless app
Worse than the Apple native camera app. What I see in the preview is not what's being saved to the gallery. Saved photos have dull colors and oversharpened!!
No Pro perpetual license
Rent-seekers will receive 1-star reviews until perpetual licenses become available. I’m not paying a subscription for a damn camera app.
Please fix the translation mistake
Please keep 'Captured with' in the bottom left corner of the photo frame. The Chinese version of '相框选项' is ridiculous and the translation is completely wrong.
Apple Camera is free and works better.
I’m very disappointed with this app. On my iPhone 17 Pro Max, the 8x camera often fails to capture photos at all. I’ve reported this bug to the support team multiple times, but it still persists. Additionally, photos taken with Leica LUX frequently appear darker than what I see in the viewfinder. The computed bokeh in Aperture mode using mid-range focal lengths is of very low quality, and the image processing algorithms need serious improvement. Considering these ongoing issues, I won’t be renewing my annual subscription. It’s a real pity, as this app has so much potential to be excellent.
Not worth it at all
This is a very odd app. There’s some Instagram-esque filters, about 5 of which are good, but when you want to “edit” a photo it kicks you into an app called Darkroom - which I already own and use. Here’s a pro tip: Just get Darkroom. It can do everything this app does but better and cheaper. I have no idea who this app is for other than for people who love all things Leica.
I do love my Leica, but their pivot from a camera company to a “luxury brand” is corny as hell. This subscription-based collection of filters is straight up cheesy.

They claim in APP purchases. Nope, you can’t even get into the APP unless you sign up for a “7 day free trial” then $70 a year to use. NO THANK YOU. 😂😂😂

Not Worth It
App not working or opening at all. I just get a black screen
Missing Shots
The photos are good when they are captured. There have been a rash of incidents when I press the shutter and a tutorial pops up and my photo is never captured. Missed shots because of this. Deleting even though I paid for it. Not worth missing shots.
Nothing is Free
I know It’s about making money, but why not just put pricing info for people to see before they waste time downloading it? You literally can’t test it at all without signing up for a year and possibly forgetting to cancel. I’m sure they are counting on that.

Limited functionality without a subscription

Not a fan
The app’s understandable emphasize on Leica lens FOVs come at a cost of embracing digital crops and zoom, to achieve those FOVs. It’s much better to shoot at the native FOVs your phone provides to ensure optimal quality.
Great but why subscription
I despise the subscription model for apps. Let me pay you money so that I own something. And if you make it free, I should be able to use the free features forever without having to pay. I thought Leica, of all brands would understand this.
The app itself is wonderful. The UI is great, and the processing on the photos comes out wonderful. Also I love that you have not show horned a social network or any “AI” into this.
Keep your engineering team, fire the biz dev guy who suggested this be a subscription.

The subscription price is outrageous.
Nice app - not so nice subscription price
I tired the free trial of this app and do like the photo quality, but it’s a bit ridiculous for this to be a subscription - so I won’t be purchasing. A one time payment of $10 or $20 would be more reasonable. Maybe add a subscription version as an option that includes videos and extra content or cloud storage.
Subscription why?
I happily pay for the app but I’m not paying seven dollars a month for the rest of my life for a niche app regardless how well it works. You’re not perpetually updating it and adding features so why do you feel you should perpetually collect our money. Subscription makes sense for something like a game with her constantly adding content but not for a one time purchase app. You should make every filter individually available every lens individually available for a single purchase.
