Great!
So easy to use and makes me think about what nutrition I am consuming
Don’t let me restore my purchase

Loved to hated - DO NOT DOWNLOAD
I loved this app when they made it very simple. They have added so many things now and there’s bugs that make the app completely broken. For example I set my daily calorie intake to 1700 and for some reason it won’t save it and does a RANDOM calorie number. Secondly, when you select a meal plan it sets your carbs, protein and fats for you. there is NO way to remove this meal plan that messes with your numbers. Complete waste of money with no developer support
AI SUCKS
I have used this app for many years and loved it. The switch to AI is annoying and doesn’t always categorize my food correctly. It takes twice as long to fix the mistakes from AI. Please give the option to toggle off this new AI version and back to original version.
10 months, great. Last two not so much.
I appreciate the year long subscription to this app. I used it daily and directly credit it with positive lifestyle changes. That said, the last two months were unreliable. My logs were corrupted - sometime saved, sometimes not, sometimes absent entirely (not just the present day, but weeks of data would go missing). Multiple attempts to reach out to customer service went unanswered, or only offered canned responses. It changed my lifestyle for the better, but I can’t recommend long-term and won’t be renewing.
Lack of Value
The fact you have to upgrade to the paid version just to set / adjust your macros yourself is laughable and provides zero value. Makes me want to just delete all together.
Waste of money!
So I purchased the subscription for a year, don’t remember how much it was. Then after using it for a few weeks or a few months the I noticed I was staying below my calories and still gaining weight. So I downloaded a different app and the cals were off on Lifesum by a lot. I emailed them asking for a refund and never got a response back. So yeah don’t waste your money.

Ai slop
Cancelled my premium because the new ai interface is gross and extremely inaccurate. I put in a full meal in the chat function to be told it was 36 calories. Making meals is a pain. They charged me anyway. I haven’t used the app in month and its cost me $50
Gross.
Gross.
Кусок дерь..
Приложение ни о чем, красиво оформлено только. Невозможно нормально настроить параметры, все дергается и тормозит. Из ИИ только то, что приложение сделано им. Не рекомендую.
Difficult for tracking
I've been using it for over two months, but it is very imprecise, and I constantly have to close and reopen the app just to enter data.
No meal plan
I subscribed to this app because they said they provide meal plans to help you lose weight. I found all kinds of recipes but they don’t tell you how much you can eat. So it’s not much use to me.
Used to be okay, but now it’s trash
This app used to get the job done. There was definitely room for improvement, but the features it had usually worked. Now it freezes all the time, doesn’t add what you selected (the food you add shows up as “item” with no nutrition info or doesn’t add at all), features have been removed (used to be able to create a meal from already logged foods in a meal), the US measurements are inaccurate, and the statistics aren’t accurate. Complete trash. Oh, but they have an AI tracker (note: AI has no idea what ingredients are in your food from a picture-it’s stupid to think it would be accurate), which you can’t get rid of. You can turn it off, but the banner stays on the add food screen and it prompts you randomly. Oh, and you can’t look back in the app on days you logged more than a few weeks past. You can’t even export the data to look at in a spreadsheet. What a waste of money.
Stop AI
I’m disappointed to see that the app has added AI. I’m tired of all these corporations trying to shove AI down our throats. It’s ruining the environment as a whole and the environmental impact immediately targets low income and communities of color because they put their data centers in these areas. SHAME!!!
Untrustworthy
“What gender were you born with”.
Well, I immediately cannot trust this app to be accurate.

Useless! Incorrect macros even when you scan a label
I scanned multiple labels and each time the carbs and protein and calories were input differently than the nutrition label shows them. The app doesn’t allow you to edit that info so tracking your macros with this app results in inaccurate data
Pop ups are so irritating
I have used this app for years both the free version and the paid version. I love it, it does everything I want it to and is easy to use. However, currently I am using the free version and the amount of pop ups to subscribe is intolerable to the point I don’t use it. Every time you open the app there is an ad to subscribe that takes ages to load. I just want to track my water intake and put my snack in. If you’re going the paid route, it’s great, if you’re looking for a free tracker, unfortunately, look elsewhere until they change this.
Kinda hard to use
Don’t really give instructions on how to buy use the app rally
It was good. Now it is not.
When i first had it, it was so easy to post my meals. Not very easy, but still doable. Now i am having huge problems posting. It is just not as flexible as it once was.
Please fix this app full of glitches
Was a great app until it became almost unusable. The app freezes when I open it making me wait at least a minute to log anything. The search results can be a little wonky or the macros are often wrong in some scannable products. Finally I’ll go to log in food but it doesn’t load for hours. Also i get hit with an ad to upgrade the app to premium EVERY SINGLE TIME. I don’t hav time for that, I barley have enough time to log anything. Please fix your bugs.
Spell check removed?
I no longer see spellcheck options when entering meals logged. Could this come back?
I tried 3 times, and now I am done
I really wanted to like and use Lifesum. The aspirations and onboarding experience are spot on. Unfortunately, the excellent experience ends there. As an entrepreneur who built serious medical apps to support patients in clinical trials, I know something about what motivates and demotivates people using an app. An example: I eat healthy. I am setting up my meals in Lifesum and simply enter “oatmeal “ in the search. What comes up? Cookies, flavored instant oatmeal, oatmeal cakes, etc. Everything except the healthy option of plain rolled oats. Every search is like this.
The app also has no easily identifiable way to change the time on a meal or snack. If I forget to log something, I have no way to update it so I can see my correct meal spacing consistency.
I’ve been on the premium and free plans I’ve come back three times, hoping for improvements. Alas, I am done. I deleted my account and the app today, and am returning to the still flawed but much better MyFitnessPal app for nutrition tracking and supporting my goal of gaining some weight.

Used to be good
This app used to be really good. And then they introduced AI. And then when I put a meal in now, the calories don’t carry over to the home screen. So I have to do it again. It’s pretty messed up. And I am deleting it after two years and moving to something else.
Good tools but glitchy
The app offers a lot, but it’s very glitchy. Lots of issues logging food through the AI tool (says it has been added but doesn’t fully save). Many other bugs.
