ai, premium, and ad garbage now
like a lot of other reviews said, this app used to be really solid and easy to use. i would use it a lot to edit pictures or even make collages- even now (on occasion) i use it for the same reasons. however, this app truly started to go downhill around 2022-2023 when they tried to get rid of creator’s stickers and started having issues with ones you previously had being downloaded. that’s back, but in turn the app is ad heavy, a lot of features are locked behind a paywall, and they’re REALLY REALLY trying to push for ai usage. in turn, the app is extremely broken and freezes up when you select certain things.
i’m extremely disappointed that so many of these camera apps have gone downhill for the sake of pushing more ai & premium features that genuinely wasn’t needed from the get go. every “improvement” feels like a failure to understand the needs of their users who’ve been using it for years & still rely on it somehow.

From good to bad
I’ve used this app for years and it used to be really good but now you can’t even adjust the photo in the frame. It’s ridiculous. So you’ll have just an eye in your frame. How is that ok? Please fix this and I’ll change my review back to a five.
Where are my past purchases?
I would like to know what happened to all of my past purchases. It does not address them and when I tried to download purchases it tells me there are not any.

This App used to be so Awesome and had so many great options to create cool stuff. Now its an Disruptive, creativity killing Ad riddled , Pay for everything pile of junk. No good frames! Most helpful feature is GONE
You used to be able to double tap on a photo when resizing in free mode, and it would basically zoom a photo out to create a Polaroid looking photo. It would make the entire photo visible instead of cutting parts off. Now parts of all of my photos are cut off. Why did you guys remove this.
In order to save photos you have to sign up for premium?
Have used this app for years, and only recently they put up a paywall just to save the photos you edit instead of having you watch an ad.

What happened?
This used to be my FAVORITE photo app. Now it’s FULL of full page ads that take 10 seconds to go away. After every click, after just OPENING the app. I’m not paying for premium, so I’ll just find a different app. Goodbye line camera. It’s been a great 10+ years…. But you lost me.
Horrible Update.
Horrible new layout for the Home Screen. Too bright and the settings are all messed up.
Used to be great, now they charge you money to save an image.
I’ve used this app for years. Literal years. I opened it up today to use it for something and now it’s charging me money to save an edited image. What the heck!? Deleting this app. Sad but I’m not spending money when it used to be free.

The advertisements make it look like the cute ones are free, but then you go and find out that anything cool cost money literally no point in getting the app unless you’re willing to spend money on something pointless you could make this for free easily from another app

Excessive ads
The app was great until it started to show excessive ads. Irritating.
Gets worse with every update
I've been using this app for almost ten years, and it's just become worse ever since they sold it to Snow. It went from little to no ads to too many intrusive ones that you can't close. They've removed a lot of the old filters as well and added premium ones. I hope the app improves again in the future, but it isn't looking good 😕
Where are the video stamps?!?
This was the best part. Purchased the premium thinking this would restore video stamps and I was wrong. Boo. :(
No longer free?
Used to love this app & have spent a bunch of $ on graphics pkgs in the app. Now you have to have a subscription?! What about the money I’ve already spent?! Not cool
Why?!
I've loved and used this app since the early 2010's, and the latest update got rid of the vast majority of filters including the one I use for almost everything. Ads have gotten much worse and now they've adopted the same greed as competitors and want to move to a subscription model to use features that used to be free. Really really sad and disappointed, will be looking for alternatives now.

I’ve been using this app for over a decade but the uptick in ads is ridiculous and now you got rid of my favorite filters!? Deleted.

Can’t access features because it keeps saying I have no connection. I am definitely connected to my internet. So I update. It informs me the app has changed hands. I refuse to give access to my full device, so now I can use the app. I also do not like that you ignore the do not track preference. Deleting the app. Sad, since this has been my go-to app for editing for years.

I used Line Camera for a long time. It was great back then. I brought a lot of stickers and frames in applications. Now what, they put ads in apps when I use. Come on!
Gotten WORSE
This app used to be really useful and simple to use… Now they incorporate LINE Camera watermarks on all of your edits, as well as flood your experience with a crazy amount of ads. Not recommended anymore!!!

why are there ads now?
i have been using this app for years, and didn't have any issues besides occasional crashing. now there are ads EVERY TIME you finish editing your photo? are you freaking kidding me? how gross and money hungry is that? really leaves a bad taste in my mouth especially since they have never done this the multiple years i have used this app.......
Can’t Access My Purchases Due To Subscription Status
I’ve had this app for many years and I’ve made many purchases. But now since it’s by subscription I can’t access none of my purchases. They show up in my downloaded stamps and frames but won’t let me access them and it wants me to pay for the subscription after I’ve already spent so much money. They should’ve grandfathered in those that have paid for all the stickers/frames. Funny thing is that it says “forever” on when I go look at my downloads obviously not.
Full Photo Access? Nope!
This won’t let you use the app unless you give them your entire camera when I only want to work on one picture. I’ve never had trouble with limited access before and that is a HUGE red flag to me.
They ruined the app
I used to love this app but after changing owners, they ruined everything!!, I have to download my purchases AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN, and the worst part is they don’t allow to download the free stamps or frames once again, so I don’t have access to lots of free stuff I used all the time. I have spent over $100 in stamps, so I’m stuck with them, otherwise I would ditch it!
Privacy Problem
I limit the app to access to certain photos, but it says we want to access all of your photos, and doesn’t let me work, so i deleted it🦶
Used to be the best
I loved this app until you added the watermark (I can’t find a way to turn off… maybe it’s somewhere hidden?). Now it’s literally useless for me. Very disappointing.

Getting Worse

And losing more with every update.
Please bring back
I like it when I was able to make my picture smaller. Because sometimes the photo is too big for my wallpaper so I make it smaller. I like it before the new update
Favorite App Slowly Declining
This was my go to for ALL my photo editing. Unfortunately, now there are too many ads, the screen response is slow, and Premium is pushed far too hard. I would gladly pay ONCE, even a somewhat hefty amount, if I knew I could actually keep everything. Subscriptions are garbage. Nobody wants them. So get rid of them.
Much worse with update
I used to really love Line but they recently updated with a subscription option that’s made it much worse. A lot of filters and stickers are gone and replaced with a ‘premium’ option rather than letting you use all the filters and paying for some stickers (that you paid once and they were yours permanently). Was 5 stars before but not anymore.
