I created an account, added photo, job experience etc, after 2 hours it completely restricted my account. Gave no reason, and there is NO PUBLIC support. You have to have an account to ask for help? And how do I do that with a restricted account? Especially when no reason was given.
Fraudulent Job Offers
This site is a playground for data brokers and scammers. The amount of SPAM that I received on my private email account only tripled after using this app. Waste of time with no consequences for data leaks and privacy violations. Don't get me started on the numerous fake job offers with suspicious Google Docs and links.
Major app bug
There is a major app bug and I couldn’t find a way to report in the app so I’m reporting it here. When I launch the app, all the buttons for content on my feed are hidden. I can’t react, comment, etc on anything. I deleted and reinstalled, which fixed it for the first launch. But then the bug reappeared. Please fix this. Very frustrating.

Stupid
Why do I have to do thirty captchas and give my phone number to access an account I have been using for years. I hate this website and app. Now I am locked out because the text message won’t go through and the phone call to give me the dumb code ended before I could get the code. This is not high level implant banking information. This is literally just a social media site. If I can’t access it then I can’t use it. Do not use this product if you can avoid it
Suggested posts make me avoid the app
Started getting suggested conservative political content, which is not how I use this platform. I find it interesting since this has never happened before. I don’t follow any political accounts.
Connection Request Without Permission
I changed active apps midway through writing a note for a connection request to research my lead. The request was sent without my permission with no message. I cancelled the request -- WHICH I DIDN'T SEND; THE APP DID IT WITHOUT ME -- and am locked out of trying again for 3 weeks.
The AI help assistant is easily confused and lags well behind LLMs I'm used to. The ability to provide feedback inside the app is limited.
I don't find the network itself especially useful and sending incomplete drafts or requests when changing windows is embarrassing to me as a user.

New user interface
The current user interface for commenting on posts which you are tagged in is not ideal for engaging. When you click on the notification it pulls you to the general feed instead of the specific post.

Age Verification is Stupid
Why do I have to verify my age with a government id with a company that has had various data breaches. I don’t trust these garbage companies with my information. And why does LinkedIn require that I have my id verified. Where are the alternatives? Why can’t I just verify with a second email, or employee email? This app is a garbage product and I hope everyone deletes this malware off of their phones immediately.
Can’t even get into my account.
I use to use google to sign in, now it just hangs at log in. After a couple of tries i use the username a password to get in and after a flood of security checks, it now says my account is temporarily restricted and requires my license. Not happening

Functionally Terrible
LinkedIn for iPad is an abysmal app and has been for quite some time. Most notably, it doesn’t respect screen orientation. While I use my iPad in landscape mode all of the time, whenever I tap on a photo in LinkedIn, it forces it to portrait mode. It’s been this way for years, and I guess LinkedIn doesn’t even care to fix this. Next, I can’t change me feed from “top” to “most recent” in the iPad app like I can in the browser. Why!??! I mean, come on, it’s 2026. From there, the app doesn’t respect Dark Mode, which is fundamentally just a terrible app design. And the iPad app’s use of space is also horrible design. LinkedIn needs to fire it’s iPad app team, destroy the current app, and built a better one.

Awful Customer Service
Lack of Human Response. Can’t change password. Can’t combine corporate and personal accounts. Now they can’t seem to find my account despite them literally sending emails to the email associated with the account. Not registered with the BBB so any complaints go literally nowhere. Extremely unhelpful. Just a terrible experience in every capacity. I hope this joke of a social media website straight up dies.

Does this mean I need connections just to create a business page? You guys are crazy! Business is business! Personal accounts are personal! It shouldn't depend on whether or not you have friends on your personal account to let you create a simple business page!
Games and short form videos are addictive. Not helpful for job seekers.

The app won’t let me type anything into anywhere. It does not trigger my keyboard to open. All I can do is scan text. I have an iPhone XR.

Disable haptic feedback
There’s absolutely no reason this app should have haptic feedback enabled. Ludicrous that there isn’t even an option to disable it.
Horrible experience
Tried to sign up for an account. ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE! Anytime I tried to read the terms of service and private policy especially on the ID collection information it would log me out. Then it temporarily locked my account because it kicked me out too many times. No Idea why people still use the platform! Someone please make a better product so people will move there!
Very frustrating
I work in sales and have been trying to send videos as an introduction to my connections. LinkedIn keeps giving me an error message that says “Send failed. Tap to retry” and the retry step never works. Videos are under 60 seconds and filmed on iOS directly on the LinkedIn app. Also tried recording to my phone and uploading. Tried to contact support but you have a useless agent. Super frustrating, would really appreciate support.
Can’t log in
I have been on LinkedIn for the past 10 years, all the sudden I’m logged out and blocked out of my account. I did the Persona verification twice, it did not matter, still blocked out. There is no customer support that can be reached. Wow, I can’t believe how much they stuck. Oh wait no tea.

Would not let me log in to existing account, even after doing the verification process, and then you can’t contact support unless you’re logged in. Useless app.

Trash app deleted notifications keeps showing I have 3 if they can’t get something so simple right now do you expect them to run bigger things properly?

And They kept on charging my account for premium plans around $39.99 monthly until i cancelled my card and i had to order myself a new one. There is no such contact like customer service where i can cancel my plans.

Hiding core features behind Premium isn't innovation
Taking away search functionality and rebranding lazy loading/paginated search results behind an "unlimited search" Premium gated experience is the calling card of a company that doesn't know how to innovate. What other social network app limits a function as basic as search? It's not a growth lever. It's a handicap for an acquisition team that fails to deliver real value with the subscription model.

Time to get rid of paid membership

No Customer Service, charged even tho I cancelled!
I decided to try LinkedIn because my coworker recommended it, it didn’t appeal to me but I did try the premium and then never once used the app or the premium features considering I just overall didn’t like the app and the way it’s set up.. I cancelled the day I realized I’d be charged if I didn’t cancel that day.. and it still has been attempting to charge me.. I closed my account and have searched for a customer support contact email, number, etc.. and nothing. I’d just really appreciate you canceling the charge considering I did cancel in time and unsure why you’re still trying to take $75 out of my account! I don’t understand why your app is so popular tbh.. kinda sucks.
Absolutely ridiculous
Didn’t think changing an email was actually gonna be so difficult, just try to update an old email address the verification link never worked so I deleted the app to open the verification on the website. and then I needed to do a two factor authentication to the same device but since I was logged out, I’m not able to do that two factor. Now I am on a 6 day probation. just to be able to access my account after doing a face scan and a government ID scan. Did know LinkedIn was Apple. Like I don’t understand security, but can the software engineers please

The only professional thing LinkedIn does is waste your time, I’ve been on this app for over a two years applying for jobs and networking. There has been little to no personal or professional growth on this app from my point of view as Cybersecurity Engineer. People talking about themselves all the time A ridiculous amount of bots probably more the X (formerly twitter)as well as meme and joke videos, Filtering for jobs is pretty abysmal, lack of filters such as for example clearance levels, federal positions, etc.

The listings are full of fake jobs that waste people’s time. The feed is full of AI slop. This is just another gamified social media site designed for engagement addiction.
Re-Login Failure
Abysmal authentication process after update. The process was so cumbersome and frustrating I simply deleted the app because it was not worth the headache. Embarrassing failure by LinkedIn.
