You want my ID? No thanks
Delete. I have NO idea why you would think I'd give you a pic of my government ID to use your app lol. I have to go through tge most stringent captcha to login, then get an authenticator code, sounds like you're not handling hackers well. Byeeeeee I don't need your outdated website.
Frustrated 😢
Poor UX design, many things are missing on this app and is difficult to keep up with trying figure many different issues
Can’t log in
Loading screens gets hung after being prompted to log in. The webpage loads to “create account” but I can’t access the account I’ve had for 14 years.
Login is such a pain
99% of the time login do not work
Poor Quality Courses
I’ve took over 20 courses on this app and maybe 2 were decent. There’s a total lack of continuity, failure to convey information, poor visuals or examples, lack of proper assessments, and no actual projects/activities. Majority of these “teachers” have no idea how to share information. You’ll feel like ur spending ur time effectively, but you will learn nothing and get a certificate that makes you feel like you did.
AirPlay is broken
Not sure why but the mobile website constantly locks up and the app does not properly support airplay.
Would be great if the login actually worked
It won’t let me log in with either my LinkedIn or institutional email. I am able to log in on the website so it’s an app issue.
App no longer works
Unable to sign in. Tried deleting and reinstalling and still no luck.
Please consider linking this to the main LinkedIn app which does work.

Weak App
This app can never compete with actual certificates provider like Coursera or CFI
They blocked my access and I couldn’t get them to fix it. Lost USD 320 I paid for this membership
The support they offer if they block your access is almost zero. I couldn’t reach their representatives. After I submitted tickets and documents to prove my identity, they didn’t approve the restoration of my access. I asked for refund and cancellation of my account via their contact form, but never got a response from them.
Can’t review a finished course
I can’t review a finished course. It’s saying to share on linked in . I shared but it still not letting me to review the course
Disappointing Experience with LinkedIn Learning’s App and Support
I recently completed a full course on the LinkedIn Learning iOS app, with every video marked as completed. I was even prompted to share my certificate on LinkedIn - but after clicking, I received an error message. When I reopened the app, the course suddenly appeared incomplete, despite all modules showing as completed.
I've contacted support multiple times, but instead of investigating the issue or escalating it, they repeatedly ask if I skipped any videos - even though I’ve provided clear evidence (green checkmarks and all). This seems to be a known bug affecting other users as well, yet support continues to follow a script instead of addressing the root cause.
As a paying subscriber, I expected better from a Microsoft-owned platform. Users shouldn't have to chase down certificates or beg support to acknowledge technical issues. Until this is fixed, I’d caution others before investing time and money here.

Shuts down
Update: the app shut down upon tapping Daily tab issue is resolved. Now just add dark mode.
App shuts down when you tap on the Daily tab. Rebooting my phone and deleting the app and reinstalling the app does not help.

Complete garbage
It is such a bad experience I had to uninstall it so I could go back to the browser version. It doesn’t keep you signed in even though I am already signed into LinkedIn, why do I need to recenter my credentials? The ux is terrible, I cannot see all of the course content because it doesn’t react to the iPad screen size, preventing me from scrolling. Why didn’t they just reproduce the existing LinkedIn learning instead of very poorly reinventing the wheel? Or maybe they oursourced development, which never turns out quality products.
Worst customer support ever!
This is the worst customer support. They really don’t care to fix your issue. All this platform cares about is people posting stupid content on LinkedIn. These morons think they are Facebook.
Bug in Daily button causes app to unexpectedly shutdown.
Used to be able to tap to view Daily videos but now all that button does is cause the app to unexpectedly shut down. Tried powering off and on, tried uninstalling reinstalling the app with no avail.
Can’t sign in via my library
Useless. I keep getting an error that my library doesn’t have access, when I can sign in on the desktop just fine. Can’t clear the url in the username field so I have to append my library card number to it, which doesn’t seem right. Guess I’ll just have to lug my laptop around with me. 🤬
Can’t see the video controls!
White controls on white backgrounds. Yeah…that doesn’t work very well….
can’t sign in in an iPad
keep asking to solve a puzzle even when solved correctly, frustrating
Video playback control not visible
Video playback control blends together with white color within video. Makes it difficult to pause skip or move through timeline.
version locked
I love the platform but I have an older iPad that will not update to the latest OS and now I can’t continue my training. Take off the version lock prompt and let users on older devices use the app!!! 😡😡😡
Abandoned app?
I doubt LinkedIn Learning might be already abandoned. A very simple bug that effects greatly on users experience like the video player interfaces was there for such a long time. It's that they chose the play/pause in white and won't be dimming the video when click, so guess what, in a white dominant video, you won't be able to see the play/pause icons! you need to randomly touch the center of the video to control!
Please make the pause button a different color!
I’m having trouble looking for the pause bottom, so frustrating when the background and the pause bottom are the same color!
Super buggy app that just displays a webpage
The login rarely works and once you are logged in it shows the cancel button in the top left and a link to open it in the app.. that you are currently using.. this is a useless app and has been for a long time. I kept waiting for it to get better but after like a year of it being terrible I give up. Do better LinkedIn.
Video Player UI Issues
I’ve looked everywhere to see if there is an option for dark mode on the LinkedIn Learning app that might fix this and I could not find anything. My biggest complaint is that the video playback UI is completely white so when viewing training that has a predominantly white background color, the video UI is basically invisible.
It’s so infuriating to accidentally skip to the next video in the series because the button was invisible.
Please fix the video player UI.
I’ve spent a lot of time digging through settings trying to see if there is already a solution to this, but to no avail.

App doesn’t work w my library card
But I can login on the desktop version. Please fix this glitch. Thanks
Update at your own risk
Latest update broke the application. Can’t view videos cause “This course uses a new content format that is not supported in your app version”. It ask me to update but there is no update.
AirPlay from iPad to appletv 4k doesn’t work?!
Latest iPad mini, Apple TV 4K, all updates current, rebooted both devices, confirmed same WiFi. YouTube fucnctions perfectly with airplay. Learning app does not.
You can get audio but no video. For audio you connect and the. Start and stop the video.
This feels like a bug. If there was no official support for AirPlay I assume the icon would just be removed.

Not connecting with my school
The LinkedIn Learning through my schooling will not connect to the app or let me watch any learning videos. I can only access this content through my school by only using the web browser on my phone.
Refund
I want my refund. You guys had no right to take money without my permission from me.
Video quality is too low
I am using the app on IPad and the quality of videos are too low. There is no way to watch the videos in hd. This option should be immediately incorporated into the app.
Videos don’t play on ipad
Also add a PiP option
Doesn’t like global email domains
I use LinkedIn Learning on other platforms and can log in just fine. But for some reason, the iOS app doesn’t even let me progress to the password field. It says that my email address isn’t valid. But I log into the main LinkedIn app with it just fine, as well as LinkedIn Learning on my iPad. This bug, and thus this review, are very iOS specific.
Good courses, bad software and very poor customer care.
No support. No customer service. Software breaks often.
Glitches prevents me from logging in
Your sign in area on the app won’t allow me to enter my email address. There is some programming glitch in the app that won’t allow for this. When I type in my email address, the word “email” doesn’t go away in the text box. It’s suppose to disappear as I type in my email address in that text box. It’s as if I’m typing right over the word “email”Also, the continue button is shaded out. I can’t go any further than this sign in screen. I haven’t been able to ever access this app in years.
STOP AUTOPLAYING
All autoplaying settings are turned off, so why are courses autoplaying when initially opened! The fact this wasn’t caught in QA is concerning.
Misled
In the LinkedIn app I was invited to take a course, but it was not until the end that I realized it was impossible to take the quiz until I provided payment information for a “free trial.” I would appreciate greater transparency, going forward.
Don't pay for it
Have not gotten a single certificate as promised in ANY course with LinkedIn learning sponsored by Microsoft "Career essentials" learning paths. After HOURS of learning watching and doing, I leave LinkedIn learning for the millionth time, with no way to earn, share, or add my certificate to my LinkedIn profile. Again. Do not pay for it.
Cant sign in
I have tried several times but cannot sign in because it is showing security checks. At first they said verification is done. Then again they ask for check. Why??? Please update your tool.
Environment not conducive to learning
The right way to learn concepts online is to film instructors in a classroom setting, using a whiteboard so that viewers have an easier time taking notes on what’s important, and extensive learning by doing. The way the videos are presented here, you can tell that they were not filmed live (bad), clearly are scripted (worse), and don’t let you reach out to the instructor if a concept isn’t clicking (worse still). You’re better off spending thousands at a community college (best case scenario) if you expect to retain even a shred of what this platform offers. But it’s clear the developers are unwilling to make the investments needed to actually this make this work, especially for people who learn differently. Shame on them. Avoid.
Update the app icon for iOS
Can no one at LinkedIn be bothered to update the iOS app icon so that it works properly with customizations like dark mode, clear, and tinted? Maybe you’re all too busy illegally spying on users computers? LMK.
UX is gross and the devs should probably take a few courses
Using this app is awful. Navigation is a painful experience and the devs and/or product owner needs to take few courses to understand how they should be desigining apps. This is a nightmare of apps and it doesn't even listen for intents from my browser. Poor ecosystem.
Volume goes up and down while using Bluetooth
Nothing is more annoying while using this app with headphones that the volume goes full max or low by its self. It’s this app because I have tested it on other apps and volume works fine. It’s on my when using this app does my volume full max them low max. Please address this glitch in the app
No app visual customizations
Not able to see the video controls in videos where video matches text color. No options to adjust this.
UI needs fixing in areas
Overall app is okay. However, the ability to pause videos needs to be fixed. I cannot see the white pause button at all against a white background. If a light grey gradient would be added it, a secondary pause button in the corner by the video scrub bar, or even the ability to tap anywhere on the video to pause it would help tremendously. This would prevent users from having to click multiple times trying to guess where it’s located. I beg you to fix this issue please.
Difficult to fast forward or pause on iPhone and iPad
Some of the videos have a white background. It is very difficult to pause, rewind 10 secs, etc. in the apps on iPhone and iPad.
AirPlay broken
It did work - but now only the audio and course splash screen stream. Support has not been helpful - very very frustrating.
Please fix this! It was bad enough when the Lynda app for Roku was discontinued. Now AirPlay is broken. Seems this app is going backwards.

Please Add slight drop shadow to video controls
The video player controls are white, icons, and many courses show slides with white backgrounds, which means it’s impossible to see the controls against the slides, causing a frustrating user experience.
My suggestion would be to add a slight drop shadow to the control icons so that you can see them against any background.

Unsupported Content
"This course uses a new content format that is not supported in your app version. To complete the course, please update your app from the app store."
I go to the app store and my app is already up to date, no update to load. I just updated my iphone, will update after I reboot.
