Can’t even authenticate
Can’t even add 2 factor authentication via sms. Buggy product.
Slow and sluggish
Very slow and loads in a very sluggish manner
Horrible UX
Some of the lead filters simply don’t work. You tap on them and nothing happens.
2 factor authentication is a train wreck
Why is this app, why I pay so much money for, now impossible to access due to a mandatory 2 factor authentication process that does not work any way you try it.
Poor functionality. Bugs galore
Click some filters and app closes!
Dark Mode
I don’t understand why there’s no black mode
Worst thing LinkedIn has done so far.
I didn't think the functionality on LinkedIn or even the poor user interface that fails to provide a simple spellcheck in case you have a fat finger moment, or the bouncing screen when attempting to edit the fat finger moment in your post. They've made all of these changes wanting $99 a month it's so not worth it! I just want my LinkedIn account to revert back before I agreed to give their "upgrades" a test drive for $99 a month! ☹️
So bad
For a LinkedIn product this brick of an app is effectively useless. If you’re using LISN at scale don’t rely on this app for your work.
Can’t Sign In
Beware! First, you can’t sign up when you have a premium LinkedIn subscription paid through Apple…. If you try and cancel and re-up it’s confusing. This app will not let me sign up and I’m not sure who to contact. The app support button does not work either. I’m stuck…. How do you get this feature on an Apple platform?
Beware!
Beware!
Unable to write inmail
Unable to write an inmail to anyone. Everything is greyed out on the ios app.
“Can’t guarantee services”
$100 a month for nothing. I am unable to send inmail (whole point of the app) and their terms of services doesn’t take any responsibility for the app not working. It’s been three weeks since I’ve started this subscription and still no bug fix, however, the “engineers are working on it”.
DM issue mobile app
I cannot type anything within the messaging feature in mobile app.
False advertisement
No one tells you this but you lose all the information you saved and all the messages you sent if ever you cancel your Sales Navigator account. I found that out the hard way and unfortunately there is no way to back up all the messages I have sent so far ! They are basically trying to make sure you can never leave their plateform…. I liked the app but at least it should give you an option to keep a record of the messages ! Not recommending…
Unusable on iPhone
While Navigator costs a premium and enables you to message your targeted contacts, this is impossible to do on an iPhone. The input boxes for subject and message are completely obscured by the virtual keyboard and there is no way to scroll the screen.
Log in process
The login processes on the mobile app is terrible. It never seems to want to log me on. I’ve reset my password all the time and it never seems to help. I’ve tried deleting the app and reinstalling. I’ve had the app for years and didn’t have issues on the past but the last year or so it never wants to work. Too many windows pop up just to sign in(with my correct login information to works on the web browser!!) and app just doesn’t allow me to sign in. Kind of ridiculous such an issue hasn’t been solved, especially when there are so many reviews with the same comment.
Dark Mode
This app desperately needs a makeover. Can we start by including dark mode?
Get Started button doesn’t work
It’s funny how I am using iphone 13 pro with latest iOS and everything, still this app has this bug where it’s not letting me go past the “get started” screen, the one that comes after logging in first time. At first I thought it might be something related to their latest release but I have waited more than 2 weeks now, nothing’s changed. Uninstalled and installed, still same. I guess the dev team does not test their app on all platforms.
Broken
Won’t let me get past the “Get Started” button. I’d love to get started!
App hasn’t worked in weeks
Great idea…but when the app doesn't load on the latest version of phone or software, not much use. Been happening for weeks and I'm not the only one. Hopefully they're busy helping the unemployed get jobs.
Love LinkedIn & Sales NAV on Computer but mobile I can’t get in
I’ve been an avid fan of LinkedIn & sales NAV. I just realized they have mobile app, well so far I can’t get in. I go to the sign in, and even if I re-sign in or sign in as my current LinkedIN account, it goes to another page and it’s the get started page with the button. Well no many how many times I click the get started button, it does nothing, doesn’t load or do anything. I’ve uninstalled & re-installed the app 5 times and the Get Started button still is non responsive. So I’m sure it’s a great app if I can actually get into the app on mobile.
Horrible Customer Service
I had Sales Navigator before and had canceled it after downsizing my sales team. This was pre-pandemic. Now, I want to get it again, but I’m stuck in that loop of, “You purchased it through Apple so you have to use them to upgrade.” Then, it fails to upgrade saying not available. I contacted support and they said I have to kill my LinkedIn Learning service as I have that through Apple. I did that, and now I don’t have either my LinkedIn Learning or Sales Navigator because I can’t even sign up for the subscription. Who in their right mind at LinkedIn made the subscription of this service so tightly wound up in Apple that people can’t just purchase the service online without Apple?
App does not respond
The app does not respond neither Linkedin nor Apple can help me.
Stuck on login page
I have redownloaded the app multiple times but I am stuck on the login page. Says continue with “my id” and then doesn’t move forward.
It doesn't work
I have deleted and reinstalled this app 10 times - when asked if I should continue using my LinkedIn profile when clicked, nothing happens.
It won’t open anymore!
Let me in my account!
Stuck on sign in screen
App will not let you sign in. Stuck on sign in screen
Not a great start
This app won’t even let me into my account
Needs fixing
App is stuck in the welcome screen. Won’t let me continue with my LinkedIn account or even select a new account. Both options change colors when I push them but nothing happens.
Don’t waste your money
Don’t waste your money! The app is complete trash. I spent countless hours and thousands of dollars curating a highly specifically target list of leads. They decided to add another 230k to that list and ruined everything I’ve done and you will never get a reply when they screw you.
UX and UI
Links from text, slack, email, and social media often open only in a browser and do not enable users to access the correct link in the respective LinkedIn application. You also can not directly open links within the source application browser experience without logging in.
Having 2 applications for mobile and tablet makes information sharing with other members complicated because it depends on their membership level.
Inbox management and messaging are also a nightmare. When using both the native app and the sales navigation app, it divides the member's inbox when messaging a native members from the sales navigator application as the response may be captured in the native app or the other if you are contacting another sales navigator member from sales navigator.
Email and LinkedIn are vital for working professionals but the division between the applications wastes time and create unnecessary friction for members.
It also drives abandonment when the login credentials to access LinkedIn from a link are always required, instead of being logically rerouted.
Members and engagement rate would greatly benefit from a unified interface and experience to access, share, and import/export information.
Additional feature requests would also be an unsend button and editing messages for the accidental "enter" because inbox operates like chat however, utilized like email. We'd also benefit from a plug-in to my company CRM, CSM, and email applications.

It’s so bad I wanted to give you a 0, but that’s not possible so now I give you a 1
I hate to write this review because this app was a godsend during the pandemic and helping my business thrive. However, as the years have gone on it has been more difficult to use the app as they have enabled new restrictions, don’t allow individuals to send out as many connections, and now they are restricting accounts based off of viewing TOO MANY profiles. I don’t see the benefit in paying $80/month when it is such a hassle to even reap the rewards from it. I would further avoid using this app and holding onto that $80 until LinkedIn initiates change. I write this review in hopes that the creators of this app will see how restrictive sales navigator has become and hopefully initiate change.
This app won’t open.
I get the splash page that asks if I want to continue as me. Buttons don’t work. Sign in as a different user button doesn’t work.
Lies/ constant notification
I dont like deceit or shady business practices. There is a constant notification that I have a message and its not true. It always says I have an unread message just to make it look lively I guess but it is very annpying. I have checked all settings this is not an error I feel just a shady practice. Dont bug me with flags and notification badges just to keep me on site, cancelling plan!
Doesn’t work
My app is frozen at the “Welcome to Sale Navigator screen” where they are giving each other a high five.
I click the “get started” button but nothing happens.

Worst customer care. I
A great app and a good company as long as nothing goes wrong. Have a problem and the treat you like dirt. For those who remember, they’re like Ma Bell.
App doesn’t open on iphone 13.
I’m sure it can be a great app, but if it doesn’t open its worthless.
2022 Not working on iPhone 13
I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app. Continuously opens on a page to continue as myself or login as a different LinkedIn user. From here I cannot go anywhere. Nothing happens when I press either “button” I can only close the app.
Unable to open
On iPhone XR with iOS 16 and a free trial of Sales Navigator and it will not open. It stays stuck in the sign in with linked profile or create new profile. Buttons do not work. Thought I could leverage this app and service for my Photography sales but it seems to not work at all. Very disappointed.
Core Feature Unusable - Messages
I reached out to LI Support and they acknowledged there's a bug for a core feature: Messages. There is a major bug that keeps the list of active conversations hidden and it's been almost a month where they haven't pushed a build.
Another $60 down the drain
Still doesn’t work with iPhone. Wont get passed the login screen. Unreal.
Total joke. Terrible. So many bugs. Barely works.
Half the time i login it doesnt work.
I cant see most of my messages.
Hard to believe a global behemoth company can’t create a basically functional app that i am paying $149 a month for.

Unable to use Sales Navigator with iPhone
I purchased the subscription 1 month ago and I am unable to get beyond “Getting Started”. I have deleted the app, redownloaded, turned my phone off, reset it, sent 5 inquiries, canceled my premium subscription and I am still unable to use from my phone.
Doesn’t load up

Unannounced “autopay” after trial
I did a “trial” of the basic $79.99 Sales Navigator. I liked it. But they automatically charged me for the premium version at $119.99 with no warning. I’m done and will probably have a hard time getting refunded. Disappointed to say the least
Buggy - expect more from LI
Often inoperable on iOS - can’t send InMail, messages, and notifications fail to clear or erroneously pop up. LinkedIn has acknowledged the problem and issues fixes but they are short-lived
Lacking
Cant message, filters dont work
Features don’t work well on mobile
I often running into errors: not being able to draft messages, the support link goes to a 404 address, and it just seems LinkedIn is not prioritizing this app effectively even though it’s very expensive.
Can’t send DMs
For whatever reason the mobile app doesn’t let me send DMs. It’s unfocused and doesn’t let me type anything.
Once you get in you can never leave
Been trying to get off the paid subscription for months but each app seems to say it’s someone else’s responsibility while I keep getting charged 108 bucks a month for something I don’t use. Tried to go to the app support on this page but it gives me a 404 error. I mean, I guess the app itself is OK but definitely didn’t get me any paying customers even with hiring help. I need out! Help!
Customer Service Experience
I recently worked with an account manager to upgrade to Sales Navigator.
Once the upgrade was purchased, I was not offered any training material or demos to help learn the tool.
As a very long term LinkedIn customer and professional that always views service as a top priority I was expecting a higher quality experience.
I hope this feedback helps.
Thank You,
Adam
