Updates are awful!
Loved LinkTree a few years ago, when there were graphs and easy to use interface. Now it’s convoluted, isn’t user friendly, and is WAY TO FOCUSED on monetizing on products and links. Used to be a great app to keep yourself organized for followers, now it’s just another platform looking to make a quick dime on you with useless tools. Bummer! Will be looking for a new app to keep track of links.

Free Version Reduced to Useless
I liked Linktree until they started stripping all of the features from the free version until it became virtually useless. The constant popups on the app to upgrade to the pro version feel extremely predatory.

I have noticed as I login every day the analytics are always different some saying more. Some less it is not consistent at all.
App got bugs
The app sucks they try got bugs in the app and also lags can’t even use the business portion right bc doesn’t connect you to any link do not use this app. You won’t be able to connect real products if you have a business

For weeks I’m unable to do anything whatsoever on the app, because every time I open it, it says: “We’re still preparing the latest and greatest Linktree has to offer.”

I’m having to rely on screen recognition to help me get around things, but it’s much more difficult because things just jump around. please consider making the app accessible again, and I will change my review.

Bad customer support
I’ve had a serious unresolved technical issue with my account for several months. Stripe-related features never worked properly: I couldn’t upload eligible affiliate links, sell digital products, or even access the Earnings section - everything showed “Something went wrong.”
I contacted support multiple times over many months while continuing to pay the monthly membership. Each time, I was asked to try a new device or browser (which I had already done repeatedly: phone, iPad, laptop, multiple browsers). The issue was never escalated or actually investigated.
I also spoke directly with Stripe, and from their side everything was working correctly. This strongly suggests a platform-side integration issue that was never resolved.
The lack of real technical support, combined with ongoing billing for a non-functional service, made this experience frustrating and time-consuming. I eventually canceled my membership and moved to another platform.

Scam
Anything you want to do you have to pay abhorrent money for. Links don’t work, connecting social platforms is a nightmare.

Most recent update have no accessibility
Unfortunately, this app is not working as before now it is not accessible for people who use it with VoiceOver. Please fix this issue as soon as possible.
No integration with Shopify
If you are using Linktree for its supposed integration with Shopify, let me tell you that it is not working and they know it. They have you jumping through hoops, disabling firewalls etc, when they already know it is not working and they are supposedly ‘working’ on it with their engineering team’. They have no idea when it will be ready and advised me to check back in 1 month! Don’t waste your money upgrading your membership.

Overpriced for no reason
I’ve used Linktree for years, but charging $20 a month for something that’s literally just a page of links is wild. Nothing about this app justifies that price jump - it’s a basic feature, not a premium service. There are free alternatives that do the same thing. This should NOT cost this much.
Terrible customer service
NO HELP IN 15 DAYS AND COUNTING. They marked my account as having sensitive material links (which I have never posted anything of the kind), reached out multiple times for help on which link they were referring to so I can delete and have my account in good standing and have not received any help. I have submit appeals as well with no response. How will I ever get this fixed?
App won’t log me in
I had the app for a while now, but i haven’t logged in for a while because i had a busy schedule. When i went to log back in it asked me what I am interested in or whatever and then at one point gave me an error message. Please fix!!!
Cant login
Every time i try logging in it keeps kicking me back into login screen. I even tried deleting and redownloading and it still keeps kicking me into login screen…
Not for content creators
If you’re a content creator, one will only assume you have every platform lined up even if you don’t use it. One major platform that will help you manage. Your community is discord and that type of link is not supported by linktree. Just a heads up for anyone thinking this will be a viable option for a content creator standpoint.

Nearly impossible to actually link to your TikTok account. Hours of jumping through hoops will be wasted and you’ll never be able to get it to actually work.

Had a difficult time loading site. Had to use a new email address and create new linktree.
Problems day 1
The moment I downloaded the app, I tried to set up a book a consultation calendar section they offer, I filled everything out and I even went through the instructions but it wouldn’t publish for me and said I still had to fill out the bookings. So I gave up on that and now it says they can’t monetize my products I linked do to adult sensitive content… my account is only in skincare… I have nothing adult insensitive adult sensitive products
This app needs LOTS of work…
You get commission based on people clicking on your links. The commission percentage changes on some items after a purchase has been made. I’ve had money in my Linktree since April, I have no access to it yet. The app tells you to finish a set up but won’t specify what’s wrong. I’m definitely trying another platform because this app is too faulty.

Absolute rubbish
I’ve loved this app in the past but then they expanded to many other apps & options. That’s fine but now they have a HUGE login glitch that no one will help with.

The new update makes you take an additional 2-3 steps to add a link. Ridiculous. What is the point? Looking for other app options now

I got the pro subscription through Apple, Linktree never activated it. They said Apple had something to do with it which is nonsense.
Why nonsense? Because they said if I go directly through them it would be no problem.
So I went to subscribe through them but here’s the kicker
With Apple it’s $8.99 pm
Directly with them it’s $20 which is more than double for the same pro plan.
When I asked why, they said Apple has the old pricing and they don’t have control over the old pricing.

So I just started a Stan store because Linktree has been not just having major glitches
But they are either stealing business from Apple for its shortcomings

Gets things done but your heart rate will go up
This app is so glitchy and frustrating to use, not smooth at all and you’ll find yourself getting frustrated trying to get simple tasks like reorganizing links or renaming something done. I try to just use the website as much as I can but this will get the job done if you need to update your linktree on your phone.
Glitchy
Set a wall paper start adding links and the wall paper is back to just black. Set things up again, preview, everything looks good come back a few hours later and everything is back to just plain black
Completely inaccessible with VoiceOver.
Please work on making the iOS app accessible with VoiceOver screen reader. I’m legally blind, and almost exclusively rely on a screen reader. While the android version of the app is accessible with talkback, the iOS version is not accessible with Apple’s screen reader voiceover. The user experience is made even worse due to the fact that light mode is enabled by default, and I can’t read print at all in light mode. The iOS app doesn’t even support the zoom gesture, so I have to go into my app switcher and then magnify my screen to see what I’m looking at.
Price raise while removing previously free features
Raised the price of the starter tier and removed features that were previously free in it.
Errors Galore
I’ve used Linktree for several years and have had no issues until now. I included my Linktree on my Instagram and Twitter profiles. The link has never changed but when I click on it now, both platforms will not direct to it. Instagram states “This site’s security certificate is not trusted” while Twitter is just a blank screen. I’ve also noticed the Linktree app logs me out upon closing it every time and it will not log me in despite having the correct credentials. There is also no way to contact for any support so I guess I’m finding a new platform to use for my links. Absolutely ridiculous!
