I’m using the paid version on an iPhone 15 and it is difficult and onerous to add links. Each time I get an “oops” error message and have to restart the app to finish adding the link, and then restart again to add another one. I don’t understand why this basic function is such a problem.

The bane of my existence. I work in social media and manage multiple linktree accounts. When there is a glitch it is a shell game. I am passed from one “escalation team” to the next. Never fixing the problem but always closing the ticket before it’s fixed so I have to start it all over again. Currently have had 4 months of popups that won’t go away, an inability to navigate/toggle to my accounts. Linktree looks great unless you encounter a problem. Then you are in trouble. Searching for a new link system.

Personally, I’m hopping off this platform and finding something else that doesn’t support the thing that’s killing the creative industry. We don’t support slop around here.

Bugs and glitches
Just downloaded this app to use for my small business for some reason on the app every time I will try to pull up my link it would just be a blank screen, a completely white screen so when I tried to delete the app to re-download the app it ended up glitching to the point where every time I would open it it would bring me to a blank page and I couldn’t even access anything to change it. I’ve literally had this app only a few days.
Completely Unusable
Upon logging in (or creating an account), the app displays an error that does not disappear regardless of if you restart the app. If you do happen to get past this step, you’ll continue to run into bugs all over the place. Want to change your header profile image? Too bad, the app crashes. Want to do anything even slightly complex? Not possible, immediate crash. For an app so simple, it’s riddled with bugs that make it so incredibly unusable it makes you wonder how it was even published to the App Store in its current state.

This app is so bad that I really don’t know where to start in giving it a review. It has so many pop-ups when you try to sign up and put your links on there that it’s like whack a mole. They’re constantly trying to sell you something. Constantly trying to get you to I guess open up an eBay shop or something. They won’t let you put your links in because you’re too busy playing with their other pop-ups. Whoever ever thought of this disaster and I almost never give negative reviews. It wasn’t even easy to delete my account. Oh well, lesson learned.
Worst app to ever exist
I messaged their customer service line and they ‘stepped away’ from the conversation once proving that they charged me for a subscription I DID NOT PURCHASE
Got charged without knowing
They charged my credit card and didn’t apply any of the features. They won’t even tell you they renewed it. No email? Nothing and they don’t refund. Beware!!

Will moderate post saying they’re “Illegal” or “regulated” this includes backpacks.
Updates are awful!
Loved LinkTree a few years ago, when there were graphs and easy to use interface. Now it’s convoluted, isn’t user friendly, and is WAY TO FOCUSED on monetizing on products and links. Used to be a great app to keep yourself organized for followers, now it’s just another platform looking to make a quick dime on you with useless tools. Bummer! Will be looking for a new app to keep track of links.

It has been buggy for the last year. Constantly prompting me to update despite being the latest version and constantly prompting me to upgrade in order to access features despite already being a Linktree Pro subscriber. Don’t waste your time trying to use the app.

Free Version Reduced to Useless
I liked Linktree until they started stripping all of the features from the free version until it became virtually useless. The constant popups on the app to upgrade to the pro version feel extremely predatory.

I have noticed as I login every day the analytics are always different some saying more. Some less it is not consistent at all.

The app sucks they try got bugs in the app and also lags can’t even use the business portion right bc doesn’t connect you to any link do not use this app. You won’t be able to connect real products if you have a business

Hasn’t worked for weeks
For weeks I’m unable to do anything whatsoever on the app, because every time I open it, it says: “We’re still preparing the latest and greatest Linktree has to offer.”
App isn’t accessible anymore
I’m completely blind and I use this app for linking my content, creator content, and social links and I am no longer able to do that due to a latest update and this app is no longer usable for voiceover users and It used to be very accessible and it’s no longer accessible. I’m having to rely on screen recognition to help me get around things, but it’s much more difficult because things just jump around. please consider making the app accessible again, and I will change my review.

Bad customer support
I’ve had a serious unresolved technical issue with my account for several months. Stripe-related features never worked properly: I couldn’t upload eligible affiliate links, sell digital products, or even access the Earnings section - everything showed “Something went wrong.”
I contacted support multiple times over many months while continuing to pay the monthly membership. Each time, I was asked to try a new device or browser (which I had already done repeatedly: phone, iPad, laptop, multiple browsers). The issue was never escalated or actually investigated.
I also spoke directly with Stripe, and from their side everything was working correctly. This strongly suggests a platform-side integration issue that was never resolved.
The lack of real technical support, combined with ongoing billing for a non-functional service, made this experience frustrating and time-consuming. I eventually canceled my membership and moved to another platform.

Scam
Anything you want to do you have to pay abhorrent money for. Links don’t work, connecting social platforms is a nightmare.

Most recent update have no accessibility
Unfortunately, this app is not working as before now it is not accessible for people who use it with VoiceOver. Please fix this issue as soon as possible.
No integration with Shopify
If you are using Linktree for its supposed integration with Shopify, let me tell you that it is not working and they know it. They have you jumping through hoops, disabling firewalls etc, when they already know it is not working and they are supposedly ‘working’ on it with their engineering team’. They have no idea when it will be ready and advised me to check back in 1 month! Don’t waste your money upgrading your membership.

Overpriced for no reason
I’ve used Linktree for years, but charging $20 a month for something that’s literally just a page of links is wild. Nothing about this app justifies that price jump - it’s a basic feature, not a premium service. There are free alternatives that do the same thing. This should NOT cost this much.
Terrible customer service
NO HELP IN 15 DAYS AND COUNTING. They marked my account as having sensitive material links (which I have never posted anything of the kind), reached out multiple times for help on which link they were referring to so I can delete and have my account in good standing and have not received any help. I have submit appeals as well with no response. How will I ever get this fixed?
App won’t log me in
I had the app for a while now, but i haven’t logged in for a while because i had a busy schedule. When i went to log back in it asked me what I am interested in or whatever and then at one point gave me an error message. Please fix!!!
Cant login
Every time i try logging in it keeps kicking me back into login screen. I even tried deleting and redownloading and it still keeps kicking me into login screen…
Not for content creators
If you’re a content creator, one will only assume you have every platform lined up even if you don’t use it. One major platform that will help you manage. Your community is discord and that type of link is not supported by linktree. Just a heads up for anyone thinking this will be a viable option for a content creator standpoint.

Automated DM doesn’t work. I get to step 4/5 and it freezes after I put in the link.
Can’t login
App won’t let me login. Puts me in a loop between login screen and the welcome/create account/login screen.
Terrible for TikTok
Nearly impossible to actually link to your TikTok account. Hours of jumping through hoops will be wasted and you’ll never be able to get it to actually work.
