like many apps, it has you do this long setup process where it asks you a bunch of questions about yourself including RATE the app (which doesn’t make sense to me, how could I already have an opinion? it’s a trap to rate it 5 stars just to get it out of your face). After completing this tedious process it needs payment even though it said no in app purchase necessary in the app store. Hell no.

How to Bypass the subscription

Hey y’all. To bypass the subscription, you need to click the payment button 1-2 times (it should not ask for payment info if it does, you did something wrong) and then in the top right corner an X will appear and a screen with another X will pop up and you can sign in. Lively, you would be getting more customers if you made this more obvious.

Wish it was IVF friendly
The idea is interesting, but if you’re going to use something that’s for pregnancy I feel like it’s shooting encompass all forms of conception if you put in like IVF transfer date and what that expected due date is it tries to change what the conceive date is based off of a typical conception naturally of a pregnancy and change the amount of weeks that you are when it’s incorrect because IVF is very different than a naturally conceived pregnancy,
pregnancy conception can happen in many different ways and it should be encompassing to all people who are pregnant and how they have become pregnant not those who just conceived naturally

Can’t create an account.
Would love to create an account without giving them access to my Apple or Google account. Why can’t we just use our email?? Why make everything so complicated?
Just wrong.
I’ll log my period dates, and then check it later and it has the days TOTALLY off. It sucks too because I really enjoyed the thought of having recommendations for what I need based on my cycle. If not for the inaccuracy, this app would be perfect.
Why is there a pay wall now?
I’ve been keeping track of my symptoms and cycle for years on this app and now it’s all gone behind a paywall…extremely disappointing.

It’s ridiculous, skipping the free trial should 100% be an option for users. Never using this app again (seeing as I literally can’t)

They said they would warn me before the 7 day free trial was ending. I never got any communication from them and am now locked in for a year. Their app is very busy looking and hard to navigate. I guess I gotta figure it out now since I’m paying for it. Ugh.
Lost my account for no reason
I loved this app while it was working, and it was very nice to track my pregnancy! Unfortunately, it randomly logged me out without the ability to re-log in. Now I have nothing tracking my progress other than analog. I’m very disappointed.
Never gets my period right
I’ve been using this since June 2025 and it’s always a couple days off also it makes you pay for what you want to do good for your body.

I’ve had trouble tracking my period my whole life I saw this is app and got hopeful but right after the quiz it asks for payment and no way around it. Total waste of time some women don’t have money to pay for help with their periods.

I was excited to start this app, it had me fill out a bunch of stuff and then after it hit me with the fact that you need to pay to use the app. So annoying, why not just make the actual app cost money so you don’t go through a whole process just to find out it has a necessary subscription

I was really excited to try this cycle app but I can’t even get into it without being asked to review it. I tried to click through it and it just cycles through the set up screens before asking me to review again.

You can’t even offer just the tracker and reminders for free, and premium could get more like the advice

Don’t do the free trail they will charge you 30$ right after and if you don’t pay your whole apple store won’t work till you do this app is just a big fat scam
Not Free at all
Was intrigued by this as it’s made by women. When i downloaded I immediately opened and it started me doing a small quiz but at the last page it immediately makes you signup for a 7dayfree trial and after that you pay for the plan you set it on. I’m good on that. At least on stardust you can use for free (as long as you’d like, not just for a week)or you can get a subscription for more features. Also made by women.

it’s only free to install and free for 7 days..but to get those 7 days you still have to put your information in so they automatically start charging you. i kept seeing ads and was excited for something made by women too but not free and i already have to pay for enough stuff already, tracking my period shouldn’t have to be one of those. going backs to flo app ugh.

Can't even use it
I can't even start using the app because every time I go into sync my cycle it lets me choose the date but the button to continue is out of reach on my screen and I can't scroll down to click it

Great until you get a new phone
The folks at lively don’t automatically back up your data. Nor do they automatically ask you for a email do you can back up the data yourself. So I just lost two years worth of data by getting a new phone. I contacted support with my “unique code” to reinstate my data. Sorry-privacy-we can’t use that. Honestly if you can’t use a unique code why the heck do you give it to people at all? Can I get a refund for at least this years? Sure, go to apples website. Nope, since I didn’t purchase it in the last 90 days I am ineligible. I’m going back to notes on my phone. Is it handy? No. Is it more reliable? YES.
Unnecessary AI
I used to like this app but they added unnecessary AI features. Our bodies are connected to the earth and the moon and have been since our creation. Never has artificial intelligence been needed, related, or important in the journey of us. It’s so lazy and disappointing. I cancelled my subscription. I would’ve been much more impressed if they instead hired on scientists and OB/GYNs and did independent research and updated the app with blog posts from humans. Instead they just slapped a lazy ai feature on. I don’t feel comfortable giving information about my most intimate parts to artificial intelligence. Very disappointing. Our cycles are what makes us human. Dont add robots into the mix to please shareholders.

cute but price??
okay so tell me why when i was downloading it and setting it up it was acting like it was free… there was never a subscription option. then out of no where “try for 7 days and then $19.99 a year” like what…. that to me is just really irritating. i love the setup of the app but why did it not tell me there was a subscription before i downloaded?? 😠
All the sudden I have to pay
I’ve been using this app for a couple years. Now all the sudden 80% is blurred out and it wants me to pay to see the features I’ve always seen. Hard pass. Will be deleting.

I have irregular period all in all on it for a week. Off one day. Now I’m back on it as of 03/04 and it won’t let me edit your/my calendar. Fix your app please.
Don’t trust it
While I love the user interface, the ability to see what foods benefit me the best….this app is unreliable. All my data has been deleted twice, and Im talking OVER A YEAR of my logs. CS said it cant be retrieved and didn’t seem too bothered by my data being lost. If I’m paying for it, i shouldn’t have to backup my data elsewhere, as that defeats the purpose of this app. Wont be renewing my subscription, choosing a free app that has actually never deleted my data at all, and I’ll be getting food advice from a dietician.

Long time Lively user! Unfortunately, I will be unsubscribing if there is a non AI option available. I am an avid avoider of AI - and I don’t want my personal data anywhere near it. Please please please have a non AI option!
