Even after rebooting and going into settings-privacy,security-turn off all tracking improvements still drains the battery like crazy and heats up the iPhone. Please fix this.

After installing iOS 26 on both an iPhone 16 Pro Max as well as a 17 Pro Max, this app drains the battery crazy fast. This morning LiveOne used 45% battery with 1 min on screen and 1hr 34m in the background. That is beyond ridiculous. Pls fix, I love this app in general.

Great Music, Flawed App
I’ve had this app for years. Recently it’s developed a problem where it overheats the phone and the battery use is off the charts. 1% used per minute. Support is useless. I’m waiting one more cycle before canceling.
Won’t load
Was working fine today, then suddenly stopped. Keeps buffering. Tried multiple stations, same thing. Tried updating. Tried Data and WiFi. Still buffers. Rebooted the app, nothing. More stars when fixed as I can’t listen. Wasted my free 30 minutes of unlimited listening.

Great app, but suddenly drains battery instantly
I’d used this app with no issues for years, but in the last month it’s draining my battery like crazy. I just started with my phone fully charged, and with this the only app running (and in the background) and it fully drained my phone in under an hour. And that’s over wifi, not even cellular!

Was a decent music app but thinking about cancelling my account now because of the recent update. The phone overheating and draining my iPhone battery so quickly is a big problem.
Terrible customer service
I paid for one year of service last June. Today I wanted to upgrade so I could download some music. I noticed my credit card was expired so I hit cancel. It cancelled my account. I no longer have the subscription. No, it doesn’t end in June. It ended when I hit cancel, meaning cancel, don’t upgrade. I emailed them and no response. I tried to chat and apparently no humans actually work here. Bizarre they do not let you listen for the remainder of what you paid for, seems illegal. I live in New York so it probably is, being the overstepping nanny state and all. I will get Leticia James on it asap.

Used to be awesome
I’ve had this app for 10+ years and it was very good for a very long time. About 6 months ago they started messing with my algorithm and wouldn’t play my favorites. It took about 4 months but they seem to have that fixed now. The new issue that arose about a week ago makes the app unusable. The app now does something to your phone that nukes the battery. Your phone will get very very hot and you can watch the battery percentage drop like a rock. If this doesn’t get fixed soon they will lose a 10+ year subscription paying customer. Beware of serious issues with this app.

Forced to use with Tesla. Broken for a month
Tesla’s streaming now requires LiveOne account. It’s been broken since and I can’t get streaming working.
I used the app to register and this may be the problem. I’ve emailed support countless times but there are useless.
Now I need to escalate to Tesla since these guys are clueless.

Tesla switch over to this and I upgraded. Took my money and I could not login. PW reset and my account didn’t exists. No response from customer support and it been several days.
Rude customer support
Stopped using LiveOne which was Slacker then changed to LivexLive. Just wanted to delete my account after not using for almost 5 years now. Rude customer support keeps asking me to do a list of things which was already done before I stopped using the service and keeps insisting on doing these.
PLEASE JUST GET SPOTIFY
This app is TERRIBLE, if you want to play a specific song you have to either buy live one plus, or wait for it to come up on that song’s radio which sometimes isn’t for 10 or 20 songs!! Please don’t download Live One and just get Spotify instead.
Like it except annoying features
I have used for a long time, nut i just hate that app has to stay open to listen to music. So im at the gym and i cant keep open. I lime curated station like alternative countdown, but Just give me spotify.. too annoying
Better than nothing
I just canceled my account that I have had for 4 years. They repeated 5 times in less than an hour songs that I have banned. Last straw, I’m done.
Adds Only
So you listen to the adds for 30 minutes uninterrupted and it plays 10 seconds then stops for an add again. I don’t know how anyone can use this app at all.

DO NOT BUY! ITS NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY OR TIME. Are you freaking kidding me this app is ridiculous it just keeps giving you ads and won’t leave you alone about subscribing wich you should not do it won’t let you back out you can’t even pick your song and you only have limited skips. and please developers of this stupid app please respond to me

This app used to be so great. It has been so overrun with ads now, though. When you first get on, it says, “Watch this quick ad to enjoy 30-minutes of ad-free listening.” OK, no big deal. However, no less than 5-10 minutes later, every single song is getting interrupted by an ad every 20 seconds!! There’s no audio with the ad, it just silences the song! I have no problem with ads in between songs, but when it stops the song, especially multiple times? I get you’re trying to push people to subscribe, but I’m tapped out on subscriptions. And all you’ve accomplished is making someone who has listened for years mad & just want to delete your app altogether.
Do NOT Subscribe!
LiveXLive is shifty in their business practices. They will tell you that you can cancel your subscription at anytime, but all sales are final. That isn’t part of the deal when they sign you up. There’s an article written by “Frank” years ago on their website and when you chat oddly enough you get “Frank.” Bad business here!

You may not get what you paid for. Paid for premium subscription got plus subscription. Contacted support they basically told me it’s my fault and I can pound sand. So at this point in time, I can no longer recommend this app, like I used to.

Impossible to cancel
I have been fighting to cancel this service. When I contact them they tell me there is no record of my having a paid account even though Verizon. Texts me that I will be billed $3.99. So they will gladly bill you every month but it is impossible to cancel. Save yourself the headache and pay more for Pandora. This app is terrible, but the customer service is worse. Update just got another text that they will be charging me again this month. Complete scam. STAY AWAY
Terrible tech support for an ongoing problem
I have been trying get them to fix a readily reproducible problem, that it stops casting music after one song unless the screen is kept awake at all times, for months now. Didn’t used to be a problem. I can reproduce this on iOS and android on demand. But in all cases, tech support either tells me it’s not a problem, or that it’s been fixed. I’m a paying subscriber and there’s no interest in the company fixing their app.
Used to be great
I’ve been a slacker music customer for years but last week after changing my Apple ID email, the app wouldn’t let me retrieve my yearly subscription I just paid for a month before. Thinking it was my Apple ID that was the problem, I signed up directly with my email and password and bought the yearly subscription AGAIN today, to once again be told my subscription doesn’t exist by support bc I purchased thru iTunes and there’s nothing y’all can do to help me. I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled, and keep trying the “retrieve iTunes subscription” button over and over. I’ve called Apple support as well. I have several other subscriptions and this is the only one I’m having issues with. Super bummed not only am I out $80 now, but now have to use a different music app. Slacker has been my go-to music app for years, obviously back when it was called slacker. Disappointed.

I used to love Slacker Radio. Then they started changing. First their name, to Live by Live, and then some of the format, and some of the app itself. I didn’t mind that, it is the way of the world. I get it. But lately, they have gotten greedy and now I can’t finish a song without a advertisement interrupting and advertising in between each song. Granted, it is a free site, but come on!!!! Interrupting EACH song! That is to much for me. I am moving on to someone else. ( Listening 2012-2023)
Does not play music in background anymore, even with subscription
The app was good, an alternative to Pandora with more obscure music available.
But recently, Nov 2022, it stopped playing music in background on my iPhone 13 Pro Max, making it totally useless. I do have a subscription.

Still Needs Work
This is my first time using this app and I will say I do like how they integrate the music and videos and shows but if they ever want to be a contender they seriously are gonna have to improve the music streaming section having a full library of the artist music is essential if your gonna call your self a music streaming app. It does need a lot of work and at this point I don’t see the company making the effort to put in that work.
Not able to “star” station
The app is overall fine, but there is currently a bug that does not allow you to “star” a station. Clicking the star does nothing. However you and “unstar” a station by clicking the star.
Where did 👎go on app?
Since the update thumbs down 👎on iPhone app is missing/no longer there so the songs I don’t like keep coming up. Please fix it asap
Not worth it anymore
This is one of the most temperamental apps I’ve come across. I constantly having to switch back and forth between using WiFi and cellular data. Today alone, it’s done this no less than 7 times. And now it’s time for something else. If it’s free, that’s one thing, but I paid for a subscription and will not be renewing it
Playback stops constantly
Ads stop playback after each song. Not the audio ads but the visual ads that show up on top of the artist window. Support tickets have been submitted and have gone unanswered.
You get what you pay for.
This is to redundant to pay for, I have paid for it before.

Would not work with my Roku, kept freezing and crashing... Had a popup ad come on (taking up the whole screen and stopping the music even after I watched a video ad to get an hour of uninterrupted listening... Meh.

I’ve used this service since back in the day when it was Slacker Radio and had a MASSIVE library…. Now it’s only a select few songs and artists and a repeat of the same things. The paid version is eh, and the free version is an absolute nightmare of a joke! Ads stopping every song as they pop up over the song, even after you watch an ad for 30 minutes of uninterrupted listening- they still stop each song for a pop up ad. Absolute garbage the last few years and after today’s not being able to get through a single song without having to close an ad, I’ll be deleting the app and going to Spotify or some other service. After almost 20 years of listening, this wasn’t an easy decision.
Service is great, app is a joke
I’ve loved the music available, the stations, and everything about the content of LiveOne ever since it was Slacker. But the fact that the app hasn’t been improved in many, many years is just really sad. The CarPlay features are so minimalistic and worthless that it’s impossible to easily load albums from your downloaded content. It’s the basics like being able to see the name of an artist for an album, or viewing albums by artists. Things that every single other music app can do in their sleep. I don’t know why they have just stopped working on the app completely. I love the content, but at some point that is just not enough-especially when I’m paying the same for what I could get any other service with better apps.
Ads are too much
After using this app for so long I’m going to have to find a new one like it. The ads are becoming so ridiculous it never fails eventually money becomes the only thing companies care about. And y’all are apparently no different. Bye
