New update doesn’t work
I and some associates with iOS devices have been unable to create the XRP wallet because we get an error message “Failed to derive key for XRP ledger”. I contacted support over 48 hours ago as have others and no one has gotten a response yet. Issue is not resolved.

I tried to send XRP to Robinhood. I have done it before $2,600 in XRP GONE ! That is a huge amount to lose. I have repeatedly tried to start chat about ( no # available) no one will respond. Unbelievable!!!

Thank God it is hard to deposit money here. All credit cards and banks turn down transactions, or depositing money that is a good thing. On my first meme coin purchase of Luni got a rug pool in less than 24 hours. Be cautious and stay away from this wallet. Too many scammers!

It has now been 17 consecutive months and still can't access over $36k USD in this wallet since adding Vault. Despite endless emails there are no detailed instructions on how to fix this. I'm just surprised the people at Stellar are associated with this awful app. This is what is wrong with crypto.

I bought XRP early on and this exchange is extremely difficult to offload. There is no customer support. Just go with Coinbase or Kraken.

I have have money that I was transferring to moonpie that disappeared while transferring and it was over 400.00 now undetected. And I can’t trace it

I cannot log into my account! Lobster even says I have wrong register number! Each time, I tried to log in, they push my to play more than 10 minutes picture match games. I made a test, use my existed email to create account again, they even say OK! Hope the QFS could catch them in the near future🪖

I downloaded the wallet as I saw ppl talk about it on Reddit, but I decided to not use it, why? Because they require an email to register, when in reality they would have more adoption if they worked like other crypto wallets, create secret key and your good to go, it further didn’t help that it has really bad reviews. You lost a user at the email page.

I can’t login and keep putting in tickets to fix it and never get a reply. I have money in this wallet I can’t access now.

Ok Folks. I’m going to help you get your money out. It took me 2 years to figure it out on my own. I couldn’t buy, sell, or even swap. Support said it was MoonPays fault and MoonPay blamed LOBSTR. If you haven’t opened a LOBSTR Vault in the App Store do so. Set it up.
Then set up another wallet. I chose Coinbase but there are plenty out there to choose from.

This is a total scam, I lost $4,000 on this app, they simply won’t return to my emails.
Not user friendly at all
Hard to use, very confusing… Virtually impossible to remove money and and unnecessarily drawn out process to put money in. This app needs a make over! Also, the fake coins with no liquidity is just ridiculous, everything should be tested for trustworthiness. Very disheartening, not trying to be harsh, just get it together!

This app is filled with prompts to get you to enter your personal information and to buy more crypto from the payment company Moon Pay. Moon Pay is a KNOWN SCAM. Look at their reviews on BitTrust. It's horrible how many people they have stolen from. Do not, under ANY circumstances, use this app!

They are happy to accept money going in from any state but if you are trying to get your money out they do not support this for the entire country. Only certain states. They dont warn you and i think they can change their third party withdraw company anytime. So if you are lucky to be in a state where you can withdrawal, they will still charge you a ridiculous fee.

This is an app that takes your deposit, let’s you swap for the token you want but gives you $0.00 balance. A balance eventually comes up but says “Swap is not available for the specified assets or amounts” even if the asset is XLM. Never hear back from customer service after writing 3 tickets.
I do not recommend this app regardless of the reviews which is probably from someone inside this scam. Bad business for XLM.

Once they take your money they have made it impossible to cash Any money out once they get it you lose , there needs to be a Class Action Law suit done here there easy to do and I’m looking into just doing that, there is No customer service it dose not exist nothing more than a big circle jerk by design they will not help you and if they do you will find it a dead end again by design , this is a criminal enterprise and something Must be Done!!! They will give you three to four options to try to cash out everyone of them are just short of Brain Surgery very complicated and always a dead end by design, you will not get any satisfaction with customer service, stay away from LOBSTR, UPHOLD WALLET has worked so well for me on Uphold you can cash out in five minutes and have it immediately deposited in your checking account by using your Visa or Mastercard debit card , 5 minutes, LOBSTR could sure take some lessons from Uphold but they won’t instead they will take your money

I’m a huge Stellar Fan and I feel this app is just a huge rip off. The exchange rates are crazy high. I only did it to retrieve one asset and once you get it you have to convert back to XLM then pay high fees to do that! Rip off ! More like No wonder it’s called Lobster cause it’s greedy like Mr. Crabs

I haven’t been able to perform a transaction on my main account for months. I’ve been a user of LOBSTR for 4 years. Either me or a hacker has created a LOBSTR vault account in my name. I do not have the 12 word phrase to disable multisig and create another vault account.
Difficult to Use
I regularly use a dozen crypto apps, and LOBSTR is by far the least intuitive and frustrating to complete basic actions such as depositing or transferring funds, canceling an order, or swapping assets.
Excess fee’s - Aquarius Default setting - DO NOT USE
I swapped XLM for Velo and my value after the swap was $1400 less in VeLO than XLM. The market values for each asset had not changed. I went back and realized theirs a tab that says swap using Aquarius for reduced fees, DO NOT USE THIS. Toggle it left and use the Stellar network, where there are no fees. Its a shame that Lobstr makes this the default setting and labels it as reduced fees. In my opinion they are lying and robbing people this way. I will never swap another token will move the crypto to a cold wallet and now delete the app. This APP should not have the high star reviews it has. People need to be aware.
Update: 06/18/2025 - Yes I received your response and it was unsatisfactory. The default potion your team sets for swaps is through the Aquarius network which claims reduce fees which is untrue and deceiving. Because of your trickery you cost me $1,400.00 and you think just by telling why it cost me that much and that theres nothing you will do about is the solution. If you have read this far into this review beware of this apps trickery and if all possible find alternative means to access the ZLM network.

Needs Send Recap Screen
In the Send process flow, after entering the address, asset and amount, the next screen has a field to enter a Memo, along with a possible warning message about the recipient account, along with a delay before the Send is allowed. There should be another screen showing the user all the information, including the recipient’s Federation Address, if any, and Address, Asset Code, Amount, and Memo, so the user may review before a final Send.

I’ve been holding since 2015 and my only problem is moving anything from Lobstr. Selling and receiving your money back is challenging. MoonPay doesn’t work half of the time and the fees are ridiculous!
Withdrawal
I’ve never seen anything so difficult in my life on how to get your money from this app. And then nickel and Donnie to death on fees. Additionally, the virtual assistant is not able to understand half of what you say.
