Free Membership That Wasn’t Really Free
I really wanted to support local farmers and was excited to use this app. I was offered a complimentary membership, but Apple kept trying to charge me anyway. I contacted support and never received a response or resolution. I couldn’t afford the unexpected charges and had to delete the app. I hope they improve their customer support and billing process.
Very Outdated Info
I’m not sure if it’s just in my area, but I clicked on 6 different farms near me on the map and they all either did not exist anymore, had not updated their info in 10+ years, or were completely different organizations now. It also seems that the creators of this app are just copy-pasting descriptions of the farms from Localharvest.com, because it seems to have verbatim the same outdated info. Why would I pay for this app if it’s the same as taking my chances with google?
Not worth it. Inaccurate farm locations and no real convenience
I honestly regret wasting my time downloading this app. The idea sounded promising. They claim to bring local farms together in one place and charge a $29.90 annual subscription, with a 7-day free trial.
The reality is completely different. When you open the map, you can see farms near you, but when you tap on one to get the address, it doesn’t even show the street number. It only gives you the street name. If it’s a long road, you have no idea where the farm actually is.
A much better idea would be to turn this into a real marketplace. Connect local farms with customers, let people order directly through the app, and handle the delivery process. That’s what people expect from an app in 2026. Convenience is the whole point.
Instead, you’re paying for an app that gives you an incomplete address and expects you to drive around looking for the place yourself. That’s outdated and doesn’t fit the way people shop today.
I canceled my free trial right away. This app is not worth the subscription, and I definitely don’t recommend it.

Pay wall
This app requires $30 subscription
Can't use
They ask a couple of questions to help you find what you're looking for, and then you hit a paywall. Why would I agree to a subscription when I don't even know what I'm subscribing to? You say I could do a trial, but I have to pay for that too! Why can't you just give somebody a five minute opportunity to poke around the app to see if it's even worth it to us?
Pay wall
30 dollars subscription is abysmal, mission does NOT align with execution. you are NOT providing a resource to support find local farms, you ARE providing a subscription service to help yourself
Good concept, needs work
I love the concept of this app but in reality, because anyone can add their “farm” to the app, it’s hard to weed through resellers that have added themselves as farms. I wanted to find local fruit and meat, not someone importing fruit and meat and reselling it. More vetting or restrictions on who can list themselves would go a long way
Requires $30 before even browsing the app
It’s not a free app and doesn’t even let you see if it’s worth the price before paying. To access the catalog you need to pay subscription. Nah thanks
The idea is better than the reality of the app
Most farms are just listed with their phone number or website - I googled “local farms near me” and found the same information about MORE total farms without paying a subscription, because not all farms will be on the app.
The business model makes no sense - why wouldn’t the app serve as an actual marketplace that connects local farmers to buyers, rather than a local farm database I’m supposed to search? You can charge the buyer or the farmer a small processing fee, and it makes every farm much more accessible to the buyer.

Multiple Charges
I will admit that I am not the best of keeping up with charges on my credit card. I just downloaded this app recently and realized I have been being charged a little over $50 a month for years from this company. Which makes no sense since the annual fee is in the $60-$70 range.
Price
Shame it’s so high, I can’t see what’s around me until I pay
Must pay to use the app
You cannot do anything with this app what so ever without paying. If you want to start the free trial it requires a credit card & all of your information.
You can get a 7 day trial but after that it’s 30$.
I’ll look into other options.

Pay to use
Membership required for use
Not worth it
It adds nothing that a simple Google search won’t tell you for free, not only that the farms and ranch’s on the app aren’t even close to the best quality at least in my area.
Can’t add my farm/no customer service help
Just like the above says, can’t add my farm and no help when I emailed the app builders. Waste of money, do not get.
Shouldnt cost money
Toogoodtogo is free this app is just fb marketplace for meat 29.99 a year is atrocious
Overpriced
Very expensive for what it offers. Prices are much higher than expected, and I didn’t feel the value matched the cost. Disappointing experience.
$30 subscription
This app is just like every other app out there claiming to do good. It costs a subscription to see anything in the app. I guess I’ll keep going to the grocery store cause I can’t afford $30 bucks a month to buy from local farmers. Go back to California.
The pay wall is dumb
Let me see the prices and farms around me before charging me $30 to use your app.
Charging $30 a month???
The concept is great, local farms, great deals but then they discourage people from actually shopping at farms by charging $30 a month just to have and use the app. I think it would be better if it was either cheaper or they did like instacart and charged a percentage of the transaction.
.
You have to pay a subscription every year.
If you dont want to pay try the Free app PickFresh it’s amazing

Disappointed
Was super excited until I opened the app and was immediately greeted by a paywall, which In my opinion undermines the goal of connecting you with local farmers. “Here, go do business with and support local farmers! But only if you pay $60 to us first!”
Should be free
Use ads
Weak functionality
The main service of the app is feeding you products to buy - there is a map of local maps which is nice but short of me driving around to each farm picking things up it’s not really useful to connect a consumer who wants grass fed beef or a2 milk direct from farms in the city and I can look up most of these farms
Subscription based app
Don’t waste your time. You gotta pay for a subscription to access the information in the app.
absolutely horrible
this app is HORRIBLE and FALSE ADVERTISING.
for reference I am someone who really believes in shopping local and supporting farmers! I can’t believe I paid money to have “access” to an app that promotes pretty much 100% “locations of local ranches/farmers” which are just in the city pick up locations for shipped goods. How is this local? I want find LOCAL farmers not be directed and advertised to go to a pickup location that’s been shipped across the U.S! This app clearly was built with A.I. and is not actually trying to help farmers. Seems to be zero vetting process for vendors on the app. SAD behavior from these developers because supporting local is so so important and this is just fueling the problem and confusing people who want to support local farmers and ranchers.

Let me browse before I signup
The app asks for subscription without even showing what it can offer. Pls show what is available in market and prices.
Tired
Why does everything have to a a subscription now a days I’m tired of having to get a subscription just to see how your app even works I’m not doing it and 30 dollars no sorry just to see if I have any farmers around me is crazy.
Membership?
Why would I need a membership to see local farms? That silly..
Fraudulent and misleading subscription model
Absolutely useless app doesn’t show any actual farmer markets or farms just addresses of small farm who don’t sell anything got no number or website listed straight up a scam then when you cancel your free trial they charge you for a year subscription anyways
Not actually free.
I have apps that are deceiving right off the bat.
Low effort app- not good
This app just uses a google map scraper to pin places on a map- no personalization and no different than using Google Maps to find local spots. The interface was weak and didn’t have any personalization. Love the concept but here in the Bay Area there are much better farming aggregators like farm fresh to you or CSAs that work much better. I deleted it within 10 minutes of purchasing because a lot of the farms were not farms you could actually purchase from as they were private or only sell to restaurants. The descriptions were pulled from their websites and were not verified or personalized for the app at all.
Terrible
Terrible fake app will charge you for “free trial” even tho is said free also most the farms don’t exist scam and fake don’t download
A Scam
Just a big scam. It’s just showing you locations no other information. Likely pulling information from google. And the interface was also probably built by AI. It doesn’t make any sense.
Not a free app
Asks for a payment for you to use it
Pay to… pay…
It’s an app that shows you farms in your area that sell direct to consumer except you have to pay to see the farms where you the consumer can pay for goods… Subscription based capitalism sucks.
Great idea (but why a $30/Y subscription)
Would love to have used this app, seemed like an absolute great idea. But a subscription to access information that is on your local government website (farmer’s market) or that can be accessed through social media is laughable
You have to pay
Great idea but it makes you have to pay. Accessing fresh and healthy foods is already difficult for people having economic problems, and apps like this want them to pay more to do so. Just google it your local farms.
Idea is great
I think the idea is great but it’s monopolized. Why can’t we have free access to the local farms? I had every intention of finding out where I can buy from local farmers but it requires a subscription to do so. So unfortunate. This world we live in…. All good things cost! Well I’m sad for the farmers who could’ve had my business.
Not necessary
Great concept but I can just look it up if you want me to pay for the entire service. At least do a freemium model
Too expensive.
I love the concept of this app, but 30 bucks a year for an app when I can just use google. Not worth it.
