I understand that people are wanting to make money, but there’s gotta be other ways to allow people to utilize an app like this without having to pay. The subscriptions are getting ridiculous.

Free trail?
I tried the free day trail thankfully I keep my card locked instantly it tried to charge 10 dollars and some change. What does free trail mean? I don’t get to try the app the one start is for deception at best.

Should offer a free trial so you can assess if it’s beneficial or worth the cost, or better yet should be a free app. Not going to pay for something that I don’t even know what it can offer.

You can’t even get started without signing up for their subscription. So you can’t see if there are actually any local farms near you, its definition of “local” is within 100 miles…… their response to this is going to be “we do offer a free 7 day trial” I guarantee it. Don’t get waste of storage
You know how easy it is to do this with adds and u can get money that way but no it’s always a dumb membership or anything I wanted to use this app to find local foods but I’ll just google like I bet there ai system use waste of times also it’s normal 60 dollars for a week so if u want to pay that your insane just use google
A Google Search You Pay For
This app only gives you the names and locations of farmers markets near you. It’s not a grocery site, you cannot put together a shopping cart. There are some deals for products at the various farms but it’s like 8 items. Otherwise you need to visit the farm yourself or their website. Not really sure what the point of this app is when you have google for free

One …. Disclose your trying to charge people to use the app. Two absolutely nothing is cheeper shopping locally. Who in this economy can afford $15+ a pound for beef ?

They ALL WANT OUR MONEY
Honestly- you’ve got to be kidding me with this. A yearly subscription of almost $80 (but it’s on sale right now!) to tell me where I can get local food. Trying to commodify access of farmers to consumers- I should not be surprised, but I can GD guarantee those farmers aren’t seeing one single penny of this- in fact, I’m guessing they probably have to pay to play. Just a hunch. I hope this app fails miserably. I’ll see the rest of you at the farmers markets, which for now l, are free to attend.
Contract before Experience
Subscription contracts with free trials are sneaky, especially front loading a year’s subscription after a short free trial. People are well aware that companies use this tactic to bank on the majority of people that forget when exactly they signed it in the first place. If you had a truly unique service, you would hook the user by letting them experience the app for a week with NO CONTRACT and then paywall block it rather than forcing a contract down their throat just because they downloaded your app thinking it was a good idea. Maybe it’s a good app, maybe not. Don’t download it though unless you like gambling $30 or are diligent about subscriptions.
No actual food.
No actual food in my area just 10 places selling coffee in an area where coffee farms are a dime a dozen. That was the fastest cancellation of a free trial I’ve ever done
I don’t see the point of having to pay to view local farms
If the creators of this app were serious about promoting local farm purchases, I wouldn’t be required to start a $30/year subscription just to view the farms. Back to Google and local Saturday markets I go. Was excited to use this app just annoyed by yet another app that wants a subscription.

You can easily get the same info on Google maps, and negotiate directly with local producers instead of paying for the privilege of having the app do it for you. Shady app.
Spammy Ads and Expensive Subscription
Very gimmicky. You spend 30 mins clicking through ads just for it to ask you to pay $70 to see local farmers markets. Google is faster, or ask ChatGPT. This app was really silly to waste any time on.
Faux free
Enter all your info just to find out you HAVE to pay. Now they have info and they have linked to other info in my phone. Great. One more company that as all my stuff. Even if they don’t sell my info, I’m sure whoever buys them out will be happy to sell it.
Don’t bother
I understand it takes money and time to make a good database/app but making it unusable without paying is ridiculous. Feels almost hypocritical. Deleted this app seconds after downloading
The ole Switcharoo
Don’t bother, they take all your info first and when you think you are done and going to see local farms they hit you with a pay wall! Their ad on Facebook complains about the middle man, but they are wanting to make any $$ they can. Also They claim data isn’t used by them but the App Store clearly states they use your data for marketing and advertising reasons.
Another subscription
I had hoped to find local suppliers that I might not know about in order to support more growers, what I’m not going to do is support an app that puts everything behind a paywall. Most meat and produce sellers in my area are on google, so maybe try that first.

Let me get this straight you don’t take corporate money, you don’t charge the farmers but hey it’s 30 bucks a year to you the consumer, all when Google and saved places does the same thing and doesn’t cost 30 bucks a year cause that’s all your doing is using the states local certified farmers list and then the Google open api in maps but then make it a membership slow clap.

Commercial and local farms?
I have a lot of severe food allergies and I seem to do much better with local foods or minimally processed foods. This app doesn’t allow for browsing to get comfortable with it, and 7-days isn’t nearly enough time to vet the farms listed. During the initial set up it displayed a few farms it searched for but 2 of the 3 farms are large commercial chains not local farms. It seems this app doesn’t do background checks before adding companies. I can’t get behind an app advertising local farms when it’s local and commercial farms. It’s very deceptive marketing and they clearly have little desire to keep commercial farms off the platform.
Concept Destroyed by subscription
The idea was fantastic, but requiring a subscription to something like this (and a rather hefty one in my opinion) turned me off to using this app. I’ll find an alternative and use toucan search engines until the price is dropped
you need to pay for it
i saw a video of this app on instagram, but it didn’t mention that you had to subscribe in order to even use it. it asked me a bunch of questions on the app before it even told me i needed to pay, which feels kind of predatory. even on the app store, it only mentions you need to pay in small text at the bottom of the description instead of being upfront about it

Why do I need to sign up and pay a monthly fee just so I can be told where to shop for fresh and organic produce .. when other apps and most likely the internet can do it for me for free .. it’s disappointing to say the least
A little misleading
The concept seems like a great idea, but both videos I watched on this application never mentioned it. It’s a subscription based service that would’ve been nice to know in the ads.

This app immediately asks for payment. You literally cannot see anything on the app without providing payment information. My privacy and financial safety is my responsibility.

Very misleading app, it’s basically a directory for farms, doesn’t help you finding items or ordering, it just contains website urls to farms near you. Completely useless. Do not purchase, you are paying money for them to do a google search

First thing it asks upon open is what kind of food I'm interested in. Every single item is animal-based, with no way of being able to select none of these. Can't promote an app that normalizes unnecessary violence against innocent, vulnerable beings.

Cost to use
Downloaded this app, hoping that it would help promote local farmers and healthier foods instantly got onto it and they asked to pay for the app instead of promoting local farmers and food instantly deleted it started doing a Google search.
Pay to participate
This app charges A LOT to help find local farms which is no benefit to the farmer!!
