Love and Deepspace used to stand out because of its emotional connection, immersive storytelling, and trust built between players and the main characters. However, the sudden introduction of a new male lead without proper narrative buildup, while the existing five characters still have many unresolved storylines, feels careless and disrespectful to loyal players.
The issue is not simply “adding a new character.” The real problem is the lack of communication, the unfinished main stories, the declining content quality, and the feeling that long-term players’ emotional investment is being taken for granted.
For an otome game, trust and emotional attachment are the core of the product. Once that trust is damaged, beautiful visuals and new characters cannot fix it.
Please respect your existing players, provide clear plans for the original male leads, improve content quality, and stop treating player loyalty as something that can be endlessly exploited.

I have been playing this game for a year, I love all 5 characters. But all of a sudden, it posted to promote a new character without any hints before. The company didn’t update the main story for almost 2 years, yet they want to promote new character just to make money. Now they only care about making money. They don’t care about players’ feelings or suggestions. I feel so bad for the 5 characters, they are not getting take care of by the company.

Greedy, boring and incompetent
I have played this game for two years and it's been downhill since then. If you are thinking about installing this game because you saw a screenshot or video on social media, don't bother installing. Unlike gatcha games who do occasional story updates, you will be waiting a long time. This developer is their own competitor and I don't mean that in a good way as they challenge themselves. More like they do damage to their own game and trust from their players. They never listen to player feedback or even respond in customer service if you have an issue, and if you get attached to any character, good luck, you will be waiting a long time for any story updates. Meaningful updates are also a wait. The only way you can semi enjoy this game is by spending a lot, just like I had, regrettably so. And don't fool yourself, the main story and the short animations makes it seem like there is a lot of animation. It will get worse as you get further into the story because they got lazy. After that, there isn't much to do other then to do the same two boring games, poke the character a few times for small conversations or do battle with the cards that you had to spend on. They are good with social media and hyping their game, but terrible at actually maintaining the game.

Delete the 6th LI
The content output is painfully slow. No main story updates, no character branches, all existing content keeps getting delayed. The first five LI are already suffering from a lack of development and attention, yet the team is pushing a sixth one. Instead of constantly introducing new characters, how about finishing and supporting the ones already in the game? If you can’t properly handle five, please don’t ruin a sixth.

我是开服玩家从三个男主到现在快第六个男主上线这是我对这个游戏最真实的评价。从开服来看确实是新鲜，首个3D人物还有一些抓娃娃等好玩的游戏，而且社区环境很好没有人争吵没有人会去骂玩家和男主是我当时最喜欢的游戏。到后来秦彻上线让更多不玩游戏的人喜欢上这个游戏让更多人喜欢男主我也很期待官方会出更多的剧情和内容来回馈玩家，想不到的是越来越多人因为元素剧情内容而争吵甚至骂男主，游戏里面的内容也让人提不起兴趣，我也只是想要为了完成任务而去登陆，官方想要的太多卡池排期越来越乱明明混池刚刚结束就迫不及待把一个男主的卡池搬上来，在官方看来不好好做游戏也会有玩家为了男主而去给游戏充钱，每一次它都没有在意玩家想要什么在意什么只是一味的圈钱，从来没有管理社区环境而看着玩家争吵护骂对方，明明都是女孩却说着最恶毒的话但是它装瞎假装看不到一切。现在官方依旧选择这种方式而惹怒玩家，明明秦彻与夏以昼的内容一直没有补齐却还想把精力给第六位男主。两年时间没有为男主没有为玩家说过一次话甚至在男性大量涌入评论区辱骂玩家侮辱男主都没有管理，而玩家只是觉得第六位男主不好看就亲自下场道歉让玩家试图喜欢上第六个男主，官方的所作所为实在是让人失望至极如果官方不再倾听玩家诉求那我们也不愿买单。
Game exists entirely to milk its playerbase
The developers do not listen to their own playerbase, do not give any roadmaps on what content is being released in the future, do not update their main story and gameplay, and do not update ways to earn free currency for pulls. They constantly pump out new limited banners every week/two weeks with minimal emotional payoff and no new ways to farm currency for free so you are guaranteed to spend money if you want a specific card. If your avatar has dark skin god help you if you can even see yourself on screen half the time with the way the lighting works. Infold ignores its global playerbase and starts fanwars and drama with its Chinese domestic playerbase that bleeds into global so everyone online fights over the scraps of content they do get once every few months if they're lucky, once every two years if they're not. Now they're introducing another love interest instead of fixing any fundamental issues with the game and community, with who knows how many more love interests in the horizon to get players emotionally invested then deliver absolutely nothing. Avoid this game at all costs and look in the future for any competitor games, or better yet play a single player game with actual payoff instead of this scam game.

No story line update in 2 years
Don’t waste your hard earned money here. Story line for Caleb has not been updated in over 500 days, and no clue if we’ll ever see an update within 2 years. The game creators have no love for the characters, and no respect to players. Even though it sends out a questionnaire for every new theme, raised issues were never addressed.

从25年底被东方明珠的活动吸引入坑以来，恋与深空和社区社区给我带来了很多开心和感动，也让我见解接触到了很多之前不了解的东西，最近第六位男主上线的事带来很大的争议，但是我不愿意对游戏制作方说什么难听的话。我相信之前可以做出那么动人的故事和剧情，打磨出现象级叠系美学的制作组对笔下的东西的感情肯定不必玩家少。社区里很多很多唱衰的不管是老玩家也好还是路人也好，我还是真的真的希望恋与深空和叠纸都能越来越好。不管之后会不会慢慢淡游，我都很感谢过去的叠纸做出来这么好的游戏让我看到体验到。祝好

The game content becomes more and more boring, blank, and stereotypical. The arrangement for each character’s new memories feels like decided by random and never follows a clear plan. They keep pushing new things and force players to accept them. Ways to earn free rewards is stringent compared with the cost of pulling for a new memory, which means if the player wants it, they are very likely to pay some money. That is greedy.
I can’t feel the game is planned for a long-run; in fact, it exhausts players’ attention, love, and money to fulfill its short term business goals. Okay fine, that sounds a string of bad decision. All companies have to suffer such issues, only to see how much they cost. I don’t even sure if the game is capable of, or willing to heal them.

I downloaded this game believing that it would be a very inclusive otome game regarding the mc. Things were good at first, then I started to notice little inconveniences that all come together to make one big problem.
The main character is supposed to be fully customizable, but it seems as if this game only prioritizes Chinese players. Darker skinned players have problems with things such as the lighting, outfit coloring (see zayne’s new birthday outfit) and the 2d events. As an international player, this isn’t the first time that we’ve noticed these inconveniences and that nothing has been done about them. it makes me wonder if you guys even care.
I’ve written about this in almost every survey, asking for better representation, or even some textured hair styles. I understand this is a Chinese game but it’s reached international attention. It’s not fair to us international players when everything seems catered to Chinese players. This is nothing to do with the characters itself, but more of the game’s mc design.

This company hates Caleb. They put no effort in his recent cards at all. No main story update. How tf are you gonna have an official event and Caleb’s Gufeng outfit clips through his clothes. His kindles are lackluster compared to the other male leads. Constant typos on Caleb’s posters. No renewable sources of pulls. Pulls you get from events are time limited. Sylus and Caleb are missing loads of content vs the OG3. Ugly clothes. No updates to chocolate shop.

too much space
honestly i’d give this game 5 stars if i could ever download it again, it’s by far the largest app on my phone and i still don’t have enough storage to update it and play 💔💔

Everything’s perfect. BUT before you download this game, please buy the cellphone whit space because every update is like 12gb each one. Mine is almost 50 and I can’t play because I don’t have the space.

i love the game, it’s rich with content, but it is 50gbs big. it is genuinely too big to justify even having it on my phone anymore. i constantly go to war deleting everything on my phone to get to keep this game on it. now that they’ve added a sixth interest, i can’t keep doing this song and dance. genuinely needs to be available on more platforms than mobile. this game is a pc game on a phone at this point. genuinely the house mechanic alone on mobile was incredibly frustrating, but this is the final straw.

I used to really enjoy this game. But, now it seems that the creators simply hate people that aren’t pale skinned. That’s no more customization of our characters. Especially in the events you can no longer change anything about the character your playing. Not skin, not hair, not eyes. It completely takes the enjoyment and immersion out of the game. I hate it now. The only reason I’m still playing is because of the money I spent. But I’m not spending any more money until the situation is remedied.

Game is WAY too big! This is supposed to be a mobile game- there’s no reason why it should be 40-60+ GB. I love the game, but can’t even play it anymore!
