Fraudulent Behavior
Nice enough app interface - poor match quality and low interaction meter.
Hosted an IRL event during which guests who paid $22 were instructed to meet up at a bar that was fully shut down and not in operation. Thus, in essence, we paid $22 to have someone make us a restaurant reservation - something we can easily do for free. It has been a week and they have yet to refund me $22 for a ticket to an event that was not remotely carried out as promised.
I paid $20 for one month's subscription to the app - after several days of complete silence, I unsubscribed. Having paid, I still retained my 30-day usage period. Within this usage period, I bought a Boost for $9.99 to salvage what was left of the very underwhelming app. Rather than simply boost my account, LC debited me an extra $20 to resubscribe without my consent. Not only is this double dipping, as my account has already been paid through the month, but is egregiously bordering on theft. A slimy business practice overall to bring back customers who clearly have had dismal and underwhelming experience with this "dating app."
Overall - completely hideous both virtually and in person. Save your money and avoid.

This sucks
Literally every person I get sent is from California or NY - I live in Florida
Too Stuffy to Let People Join
This is not for ridiculously high standards its a closed group that you will NEVER be approved for!
App not functional and not pertinent to LA
Currently the app is not working and it seems that this app continuously shows you people living in a different state however it is not great for individuals living in Los Angeles
App keeps freezing
This app is okay when it works but it seems to constantly freeze and nothing aside from uninstalling and reinstalling the app seems to work. Very frustrating.
App doesn’t work
App is frozen.
Super glitchy
Did not work for several days of my subscription and deleted a bunch of my matches
Crashing
The app does not work. Freezes every time I open it and cannot select any options at the bottom
Latest update freezes
The update from early March 2026 is causing the app to immediately freeze on launch.
Overall quality is also mixed. It kept showing me almost only people in a different city until about a week before my renewal, when suddenly I mainly saw people in my city.

app doesn’t work
keep opening the app and it doesn’t allow me to press buttons. have to delete and reinstall to fix. i have newest iphone
Update Issue
The last update seemed to cause a problem: now, none of the icon buttons on the app work, even after restarting the app.
Really bad
The only way you’re able to see who sends you likes is by paying for an upsold membership on top of the basic one already required to use the app at all. The only way to know who likes you with the basic membership (which still costs money) is if you receive a comment. Anybody who has used hinge knows how much rarer this is. Don’t charge people to use your app (especially when the minimum commitment is 3 months) if the service they get from paying is essentially useless. What a waste.
Scam
This app is a complete scam. The app is marketed as exclusive to get people to join, but it only wants you to dump a ton of money into their “membership” just to use it-even after you get accepted. I couldn’t even swipe yes/no on one single person. Don’t waste your time, and if you’re considering paying for any part of the app, don’t!
Where are the 10k members?!
In the first week, I’ve been sent the same handful of people (I’d never want to know)over and over. Even though I’m in NYC, they send me people far away, as if there is no one in my area. The membership fees are not clear. I paid for a year, but keep getting notices that my membership is expiring in one day. I have attempted to reach customer service twice, but no one has addressed my issue. So far, it is a huge disappointment.
Total waste of time
If you are looking to be shown a slow drip of people who live on another continent, this app is for you. I live in NYC where there are 1 million Jews. The app shows me sets of 15 people at a time with enforced waits before you can see more, zero from anywhere even on the east coast. That’s O/15, wait some more and… lo and behold 1/15! This nonsense went on for two weeks before I cancelled a month long subscription and deleted the app. This experience was while on the highest tier subscription which still has paywalls.
Feels fake
A clone of Raya for Jews. 1 star because I think it’s either loaded with fake profiles or old profiles, because I have come across multiple people who appear to be in happy relationships or married (app links to their instagrams). So either these are all old and they never deleted, or the creators are faking their user numbers and having models create accounts to keep us interesting and paying.
6 month membership
I paid for the 6 month membership and for the entire 6 months, it amounted to 1 match in the very last month. That one person never responded. I regret signing up for a membership and do not recommend it.
Money Grab App
this app is clearly just after people’s money. the fact that they don’t give you a free trial shows that they know this app is trash. you get to see 6 people twice a day, no one is active on here and it just is such an awkward experience. there are a million dating apps out there that work significantly better than this and also allow you to filter by religion. DO NOT download this. oh AND you have to pay for any experience off the app ($60+) before you get there and then also pay for everything (full price) at the in person dinners/drinks/matching making events (also 60$) may as well just go on two dates via a different platform. the “matchmaking” also doesn’t work, i had a fine experience at a dinner but i met a group of girls who were 7 girls to 1 guy at a dinner that was supposedly curated for their experience. if u want to spend money on an app get hinge premium or raya.
Paywall
Would be nice to know before you spend 10 mins making a profile that you have to pay!!
Bad app
Needs to pay for everything, even to do one like, you’re not paying you cannot match.
Seems like the profiles are fake.
Don’t use this app!

Scam!
This app is a total scam. You have to pay to use it, meanwhile they only give you a limited amount of options in a day, but the issue is you can’t filter by location which is a basic function for a dating app. The reason is they clearly don’t have the users to support the app. So you’ll see like 20 people in a day and only 3 of them are in your city, tops. They’ve got live events they advertise, which could be a good feature, except that those are also an additional fee for entry! Incredibly disappointed. Asked for a refund.
Never approved
I don't know how high their standards are, but I was never approved. Do you have to make over 200K as a female to get approved or what??
David
Scam. Paid extra, no matches for nearly half a year. Don’t give them your money
Broken, no customer support
Any time someone likes me on paid plan, when I match, the app freezes and they disappear. Hundreds of people. It’s wildly broken and they have no customer service to talk to. Do not use.
Creepy CEO
I was matched with someone who said he was the founder of the app, which already felt unusual. BUT what followed was worse. He was very persistent about meeting up, and when we did, the whole interaction made me feel uneasy. He spent most of the time talking about being the CEO and how he’s going to be famous from a show he’s working on. The conversation felt self-absorbed and oddly performative, and the way he pushed for the date in the first place came across as inappropriate, desperate and a little creepy. Later I found out that several of my friends had nearly identical experiences and many described him as this social climber who had to leave La to nyc because of the bad rep he was getting who constantly name-drops and tries to impress people. He needs to stop using the app inappropriately. Combined with disappointing events that don’t match the marketing….the whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth. I deleted the app immediately and wouldn’t recommend it.
The goods are odd
App used to be fun but the parties and dating experience has really faltered. I expected a more curated experience but the user base felt pretty random and not as exclusive as advertised. The events sound fun but need better planning and management- think not everyone who goes gets a drink ticket because others get two kind of situation. Wish it wasn’t the case but hinge is doing a better job.
CEO is a scammer so are the guys I date on here
Ceo is know to be a scammer. Worsttt people on here and called me different in person. Deleted immediately.
Only people in NYC and LA, some Boston
I paid for 6 months. There wasn’t one single person in my area, or even close. You cannot filter based off a radius. Such a waste, make sure there are people in your area. I saw a TON of NYC, LA, some Boston area. I tried to get a refund, and was denied..twice.
Scam!
By no means a free site. They want your money and the names of your friends to whom they can market.
Not satisfied
I just got this app and to spend money to “see” people on the app you don’t really get to “see” many people. I find it absolutely ridiculous to spend all this money and you don’t get to see more people after a certain amount of people. You want to say “limited members per day as a solution to the paradox of choice. We want each "like" to feel thoughtful, which leads to better dates”… that’s stupid!…with the money I spent I should be able to “see” as many profiles I can… so you have to charge extra $5 to see more people I mean come on! I want a refund immediately. Please reach out.
review I wish I saw before paying
If there were a dating app equivalent of a timeshare scam, this would be it.
First, they reel you in with glossy ads full of impossibly attractive Jewish men who look like they stepped straight out of a JDate fantasy. Reality? Nearly every single guy is exclusively bald (nothing wrong with baldness, but don’t sell me on hair when it’s clearly a hat-free zone), and-bonus!-they live in entirely different states. You’ll spend more time calculating airfare than planning a date.
Then comes the membership trap. You fork over a monthly fee thinking you’re getting the golden ticket. Nope. That “membership” buys you exactly seven swipes a day on people hundreds or thousands of miles away. Oh, and those “in-person events” they hype up? Not included. You have to buy another ticket to attend-so your membership is basically a cover charge for the privilege of paying more.
This app is a catfish buffet with a paywall.

Not good
I have been a member of this for a few weeks and don’t recommend it. The thing they know how
To do best on this site is ask for constant membership level increases and ask for me to refer new members to them. No dates so far after a few weeks and only 1 match that won’t nowhere

One of the worst dating apps
They charge an arm and a leg to get no matches or match with people that live nowhere near you without the option to filter to your area. Really poor design of an app.
Such a waste of $
So awful
A scam
This is the worst dating app by far, I truly wish I could get a refund. You cannot do anything for free which I feel was misleading but fine it was $80 for 6 months. For that price I was expecting a match because that is steep. Nope you get like 5-12 profiles at a time then have to take a break or pay more. There are zero filters for your pool. You have to pay to see who likes you. Everything is an additional fee. Just save your money and sanity, might as well pay for an actual matchmaker.
Horrible
Terrible app, got suspended for no reason because like other dating apps they get fake reports and ban without investigating.
This is terrible
The lure you in with “high standards” and force you to pay 50 to even see the people, of which there are no standards and less than 10 in your area
Could be Great
Could be great. But there seem to be no other members in Boston!
Bait & Switch
This app is a complete rip off & not worth the high price point. Also when they have events it’s a joke have more demand then anything.
The unfortunate thing is it used to be decent but has gone downhill, they keep showing you people that you already said no to earlier in the day.
Save the $$$$$

Don’t Waste Your Time
If you look up “Lox Club” on TikTok, the only recent videos you will see are from two individuals who are both related to the founder. You’d think that if this app was as exclusive and as ‘groundbreaking’ as its employees say, then the CEO wouldn’t need to ask his family members to pretend to be other people, and promote it just to get more people to try. If I can save even one person from being scammed in the same way that I did, then great.
Don’t get me wrong, I’ve worked for startups for over half my life and I understand more than most people what it takes to make something out of nothing. I respect hustle, and I respect hard work. What I don’t respect is a blatantly dishonest marketing strategy and developers who claim every few weeks to have fixed the many bug issues the app has, just for that to be….yet another lie. You’re better off joining Hinge or Bumble (which are both free.99) instead of trying your luck on a service which was literally created with the intent of ripping you off, instead of helping you find love. I’m out.

Can not search in your city
You must pay at least $50 for basic dating app matching functionality. However, you can filter your search to people within your region. On the second day of using the app, I had already gone through everyone in Los Angeles, yet it was showing me people across the country. This should not be a paid service.
Useless without payment
I shouldn’t be surprised that yet another specialty dating app does everything in its power to force its users towards purchasing its premium account, but it feels especially audacious after reading the saccharine story behind the app. I’m not even given the chance to like someone on here without first paying. At this point, if you intend to be literally useless to those who will not pay for a membership, just don’t allow people to join without paying at all. Don’t let them sit at the gates and tantalize them with what could be.
Messing w/ your public rep
Guys I’ve tried contacting you about this. Your app says that I am ghosting people on the app. This is concerning safety wise because the app automatically links my Instagram which leads to my public Google page for my business. I don’t ghost people, in part, because I am a publicly facing business. I feel like you guys are either just messing with me, or with my livelihood. One of the two.
Accidental Purchase Dissappontment
I thought was signing up for a free trial and accidentally signed up for a six month subscription - I tried to remedy this with the App Store but they wouldn’t provide a refund. I decided I’d see what could come of it and unfortunately it’s not great. They only show you a handful of candidates at a time and create a ploy of exclusivity when many people on the app live thousands of miles from you. I love the aspect of a fun, cool, Jewish dating app but this misses the mark.
Worst app
Not “exclusive” in any way shape or form, they show you almost exclusively people in other states to keep you paying and show you the same people over and over, none of whom you would date. You can spend $$ on boosts and skipping the line to see more people and none of it leads to anything ever; they are probably not even showing you to the people you actually like. It’s a dirty app doing everything possible to keep you from finding someone and keep you paying and staying on the app. You can’t filter for anything so it shows you only people you would have 0 interest in ie people across the country who are shorter than you (and you are 5 feet).
Extremely expensive and not worth it
You’re paying way too much money just to be able to see a limited amount of people all of whom are thousands of miles away most of the time. All I can use this app for at the moment is to see that there are no exclusive Lox club events happening near me or that are coming up at all, and maybe browse through some date destinations that they are recommending. And you can only swipe through about 8 different people every six hours or so after paying $50 for nothing. If you don’t have the funds to waste money on this like me, you’re better off using Hinge where you can see an unlimited amount of people for free.
Overpriced and terrible
Besides the lack of capabilities, this app makes you buy into multiple months and provides little to no actual dating options. Whenever I look I am swiping on every time. The ones that I did match with never answered and I reached out on DM and they said they canceled their membership months ago.
Skip this one
Extremely disappointed - feels like a cash grab / scam. Went to the trouble to make an account and pay for subscription and seems like every user is not active….? It seems surprising to have 0 engagement.
Horrible, a scam
Complete scam.
Just don’t do it
It’s the opposite of Nike… just don’t do it! Listen to the reviews, it’s a total waste of money
