Lumosity: Brain Training Games

If you use the free version, just get ready to rip your hair out because a lot of the games are pointless and annoying to try to figure out how to play. You can’t skip over them, you can’t quit them and you can’t bypass any. The free version only gives you three games a day to play which isn’t a big deal, but you have to play them in the order they give them to you with like it or not, you can’t stop them. If you get the paid version, you can skip over games and block some, but not with the free version. I used this app years ago and this was the same exact reason I stopped back then I just thought it got better but it didn’t.

While their games are fine, their service is not good. They deleted my account without consent or notification after I upgraded my subscription to premium. That left me without access to premium features. Now their solution is like create a new account and they will restore access to remainder duration of my subscription. Again, I have to create a new account they can not restore my old account! Very disappointed!

I try to play every day, but it’s so bad. It pits me against myself, and I’m not always 100%. It makes me angry and upset with myself after a few months. Such a bad app to make you try to constantly improve even when you’re the best you can be for who you are.

Price hike with very little changes is not good customer service. I enjoy this app but this decision was not in the interest of the user. Not worth it.

The Controls within the game don’t respond. It’s frustrating. And the directions are relatively unclear. I’m only 50 so I should get it!

I have subscribed to this app for years and really appreciated that it tracked my progress by recommending challenging games. Now it keeps pushing those that are really simple & don’t challenge me at all.
