What they charge the customers and what it tells you they charged on the amp is very different. I have tested this and the results were crazy…. There taking half the money from a job that you think is 20 dollars but there really charging 30 for it This is just an example because it changes all the time. They try to get you to do things that will make them more money not the driver….. I guess the people that like this app don’t have to pay for maintenance on there vehicle or don’t maintain it…..because it’s not worth it to do the trips they ask because you factor in everything your hardly making any money… Your app also must have a better map than mine because I’ve been going down allys and through neighborhoods to get to a location It was not a time saver it actually took longer the way it takes you… I keep telling about a issue with my app sending me 20 min away when I like in a busy area and it sends me 20 min away to drive a 5 minute drive the opposite direction. This happens a lot… Lyft sat within 3 minutes that my app was working fine… ok first off is Lyft remotely attached to my phone. Because how would they know how my app is working. If they could see that why would they say my app fine when it’s not… I don’t no but Lyft is is very unsafe and the app s as good as they can do I guess…. Had anyone even seen the new terms and conditions that Lyft has…. It pretty much makes you there slave with the appearance of being a sub contractor… They control everything about your experience and have it written that in a way that they can enforce it at anytime… They also take your rights to sue them if anything happens to you… So if someone hurts you driving on there platform to bad…… All company’s are starting to do this and yet you guys just sign them like no big deal… I don’t think people actually read these and I’m sure they count on that….. they own you but make you think your the boss and I’ve owned company’s and I’ve been a sub contractor…. This is not what this is… It’s trickory at it’s finest to make Lyft money If you don’t do it someone else will…. What a joke makes me want to start a company that actually does the right thing instead lining only the company’s pockets I would make it where the drivers make more than the company….

2026.16.3 CarPlay STILL broken
2020.16.3 app is also dropping ride details at bottom of navigation screen during trips now! Had to disable CarPlay since it’s not been fixed STILL. And the app is dropping ride details now en route to pickups. Have to close app en route to pickups and reopen to have ride details show at bottom of screen now. Intermittent but frequent. Why is this not being fixed like, yesterday?!

Worst of ride share apps for drivers
Driving for over 9 years, lowest fares to drivers, no actual customer support in real time, just giving drivers $3 for $11-$16 they charge on short rides, and for longer rides the percentage about the same. Stopped using it as finding concentrating on other apps better for the money.. hope new drivers knows the trick but they just keep abusing drivers and people thinking they make money through Lyft, until their car broke or actual disaster happens from a customer, and they will never do nothing or compensate.. in their small print they define and claims themselves as a broker app not a ride share, so they have 0 responsibility at all toward drivers.. on accidents, burglary attacks by riders Lyft will not hold or pay for anything or held responsible if anything happens no matter what.. at least other apps has some kind of insurance, etc…

I’ve been a driver off and on since about $2018 and I wish I could say that the app and platform have both gotten better since I’ve been on, but I’d be lying. Every major update and sometimes even the minor ones finds drivers making less and less while the ride offers Lyft sends become more and more predatory. After Lyft fees and third party fees drivers are often making less than 50% of what a passenger paid on a single ride and all of the “features” that are allegedly meant to give drivers more options and flexibility area bust. Trip radar is pointless and frustrating, smart trips are slow and don’t even notify you half the time when you match, and apple car play is pointless because I still have to look down at my phone to see a trip request or any detailed trip info, literally what is the point. I could go on and on, but I’ll leave it at you have to be extremely patient and strategic to make any real money as a Lyft driver. DO NOT let Lyft pimp you or your vehicle out for scraps
It’s not showing the path on the map
When Lyft offer a ride you don’t see the route on the map of the ride offer. Just addresses you see. It started after last update.
NYC can’t see anything
NYC has the worst of the worst., here jp to yesterday we were able to see street finder radars with directions., now ., can’t see anything., we dont see how much is the job we dont see where the job is going ., WHAT HAVE WE DONE TO THE WORLD THAT NYC HAS THE WORST OF THE WORST., IS THIS PEOPLE BLIND., gas prices is out control and you want me to drive what ever., COME ON …
Stay within area filter
The filter after the update sucks, it no longer shows you the pink circle until you select confirm, therefore rendering itself useless
Wrong strategy
Lowering a ride fare and giving less to drivers is a not a good business strategy. Lyft thinking that they will get more passenger lowering ride but if no drivers takes the ride how you are going to get more passengers!! I was about to gave up on Uber and driving Lyft but last two weeks my acceptance rates only 1%. Whoever decided to lower rates and less pay to drivers, you are hurting your company because no one takes the lower ride fares.

Can’t see the route of a potential ride and it sucks. Making it hard to accept rides. Fix it. It sucks

No show call-can’t mark as no show after calling
I had a no show rider and tried calling. The app would not let me mark it as no show so I lost a no show fee.

Bug on the new update
When you connect to apple carplay the gps all of the sudden stops functioning on both the phone and CarPlay screen. Then if you disconnect it from CarPlay. The app works fine. The bug doesnt let you see the preview of the ride request. And also the recenter button doesnt work on the app directly. Its not a problem with Carplay as all the other navigation and uber dont have this same issue. Please fix this thank you.

Today I missed two big trips, one was 37 miles, the other was 22. As soon as I pressed the OK button, the trip disappeared. The Lyft system is garbage. They sell trips like apples at the market, and honest drivers are left with short-distance trips.

Lyft decided to make one of the most ridiculous changes they have ever made in today’s update, with the removal of the preview map. Absolutely ridiculous and shouldn’t have been done. No minimum wage, no vacation time, no sick time, at the very least drivers should be able to see where they r picking up and dropping off at.

Not driver friendly.
Very little apple car play functionality. Doesn’t allow waze as a better navigation option. Waze has more people reporting traffic conditions. When suggesting a ride the info does not display the ride details on my apple car play screen. Seems like a pretty easy fix but for some reason it doesn’t happen.
