I eat clean homemade meals. I was trying to log in 3 scrambled eggs and the only option was “3 scrambled eggs with cooking spray” but I don’t use cooking spray. This is a waste of time for folks who eat clean, simple meals

Bad Update
I love this app, I use it everyday. But the new update is horrible!! It messed up my entries and isn’t calculating correctly
New update is awful
This app was wonderful and with this new update it doesn’t work. It’s not updating my macros and I can’t click on something I added to see the macros for the specific item. This is honestly unusable. Why?!

New update sucks!!! It won’t save any of my meals and deleted all my past entries. There was nothing wrong with the old format. I hate it now.

Very difficult to navigate - push log for a food and it says I didn’t log 😝
Disappointed
I tried to sign up 3 times. I put in my email address and was given the message a link would be emailed, but I never received it and yes I checked my junk folder. Very disappointing. Off to find another macro tracking app.
Used to Be Great
I’ve been with MacrosFirst for a very long time. Several months back, they decided to do a major update. Didn’t love it. But fine, I had just paid for another year ahead, so I was locked in. I grew to get used to the update, but still missed the old one. Now, MacrosFirst has pushed out a new update that is mind boggling. It removes key features like, visually helping you to see where you’re over/under on your macros. Because of this, I’m looking at a different macros app and switching even though I have six months left in my year’s subscription. It truly boggles the mind why the developers went from a beautiful app to, let’s just keep tinkering with every major facet. Truly a disappointment that ruined what was the best app by far. Would pass on this app if you’re looking for a new macros tracking app.

Love the app - However, I downloaded it with the understanding that the
7-day premium trial would roll over to the free basic version on day 8 - My husband had no issue when he did the same, though he indicated there was a “free version” button along side the monthly subscription choices. I don’t recall this, as I was actively looking for the “free version” he spoke of. When I researched it, Google indicated that MF “does not take your credit card info so you are not wrongly billed.” So I selected the 7-day trial and never gave my credit card number. Yet MF billed $76 via our family Apple Account, using my husband’s credit card, which is tied to it. Dodgy behavior between Apple and these app developers, IMO. I requested a refund 🤞🏻

Wanted to try this to track my eating habits. Gave me a week free trial then it would be free.
Waste of Time
I can’t even get into the stupid app. I had to input personal info about myself and my goals. That’s as far as I got before it asked me to register, said it sent link to my email to use but it didn’t so I went back to app to ask to send link again but no. I’ll have to input all of the personal info I already input in order to even get to where I can ask for another link to be sent. Why can’t you just let me choose a password? F this. I’ve wasted too much time on this already.
Not working since update
I am so bummed! This was my favorite app for tracking until I updated. No longer works right. I log in food and it won’t calculate calories or macros.. I have no way of keeping track. Please update and correct this.
Not Free
Why does it say Free Tracker in the photos when it’s only a 7 day trial? Deceiving and disappointing
They will charge you for a full year subscription if you don’t remember to cancel

No flexibility
When signing up for the app, it requires you to set a goal: "Gain weight, Lose weight, or maintain weight." I wanted to use the app to simply track macros with no intended weight tracking goal as that is not my intended goal for movement and health but there is no option to sign up without choosing a weight goal. I've heard great things about the app, so I wish there were more flexible options for signing up.
Weak Library
I tried to add a simple item, the Chick-fil-A grilled patty and it wasn’t an option. When I searched for it in the AI, it returned no results. When you are trying to count macros having the flexibility to add detailed items is crucial.
Will charge you when you selecting free trial
I wanted to try this app out with a free trial before deciding I want to spend my money on it, and within seconds of accepting the 7 day free trial I get a notification that I was charged almost 28 dollars, the payment plan I selected was also only 11.99, I am very disappointed.
Requires “account”
Unfortunately this insists I use online storage for my personal data and create an account. No. Not “signing up”. I don’t need tracking other than meal by meal for a given day. Haven’t even used it yet and it has unacceptable requirement. Uninstalling.
