Worst experience. Dont use this booking site. They are not reputable. I booked a hotel and was given a different hotel. It was infested with cockroaches , the AC didn’t work ( and it was in India) and the appliances didn’t work. They did nothing care whatsoever. It’s been 4 days and I was supposed to receive a call from the manager on 10 min last sat. Never called. Today they offered 5000 rupees even though I paid 11,532 rupees. How crazy. I’m appalled. I wouldn’t even give this site a 1 star.

I booked a flight ticket through them, then the flight was canceled by the company itself. After that, they informed me that the refund would be processed because the cancellation was from their side, and they said it would take 14 business days.
Now, more than 20 business days have passed and I still have not received my refund. I contacted them more than three times, and each time I stayed on the line for more than 40 minutes just to hear different excuses.
In every call, they promised that someone would contact me within 24 hours, but unfortunately nothing happened and all the promises turned out to be false.
This was my personal experience with them, and honestly, I do not recommend dealing with this company from my perspective.

I booked a ticket, they made a hold on the money and didnt book me the ticket. I cannot refund or do anything. What is this?

Extremely disappointed with the service. I requested a refund on a canceled flight and it’s now been well over a month with no updates or resolution. Meanwhile, others I know who booked through different platforms on flights that were after my dates on the same flight received their refunds much earlier. They have a terrible customer service team. I would highly recommend using a different website to book your flights or go directly through the airline. Mind you my booking was on Qatar airways from Houston to Bengaluru. I have also contacted Qatar airways regarding the situation and they can’t really do anything because my booking was through make my trip.

I used their app to book tickets and the airline cancelled my ticket.
I applied for the refund through their app and the status of the refund not changed for 17 days as of now. No contact us in the app nor support team. I can not reach out to them. Useless. Keep away!

MMT = False Promises
MMT makes a lot of promises, but the reality does not match at all.
Even after paying for a Super Premium package, every hotel they booked was the lowest room category. The rooms were small and not up to the expected standard.
Customer service was extremely poor. The tour manager, Kuldeep Sharma, never responded on WhatsApp or calls. There was no support when it actually mattered.
The included activities were also very disappointing. Most were basic roadside sightseeing stops that you could easily do on your own. On top of that, you still have to pay for entry tickets separately. These are low cost activities, but you end up paying significantly more through MMT.
The itinerary itself is padded with repetitive items just to make it look more comprehensive. For example, mentioning AC Sedan pickup and sightseeing every single day does not add any real value since the car is already booked for the entire trip.
Overall, this was a very poor experience. I would strongly recommend avoiding MMT for such trips. You are better off working with a reliable local tour operator, saving money, and having much better control over your experience.

Laggard with refund
It is a month since I received messages from Air India & MMT both about cancellation of trips owing to Dubai unrest. Lodged a formal refund request with MMT on 23 March but no response or progress. Irresponsive call center in India ineffective call center in UAE. Trip has vanished from my trips section.

Since then, it has been over two months, and I am still waiting for my refund. I booked my flight to Tokyo, the flight confirmation took 3 days. I was not able to apply for my visa, as the visa requirements state that I need a confirmed flight. I might have to reschedule / cancel my Japan trip. Never book international flights from make my trip! Please be aware! Always book flights directly from the airlines website.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
I tried to call customer service to retrieve my booking but the AI could not do it. AI chatbot was TERRIBLE at retrieving my booking and was utterly confused. The HUMANS WERE WORSE. They kept ignoring my calls or redirecting me to AI chatbot. I called them about 15 times and they either cut my call or just redirected me to the chatbot and I also used their chat services to no avail and relief. I agree I made the mistake of messing up my email id but I never received any text updates from them either and I NEVER RECEIVED ANY HELP whatsoever. Absolutely trash!
Disappointed with Hidden Convenience Fee at Checkout
I used MakeMyTrip app once and thought to give it a chance second time, but my experience was disappointing. A steep convenience fee was added only at the final checkout stage, without being shown upfront. This makes it difficult to compare prices with other providers and feels misleading. Transparent pricing is essential, and I hope MakeMyTrip starts displaying all fees from the beginning to provide a fair and reliable booking experience.
International users. AVOID THIS SCAMMY APP AND WEBSITE!
Nothing is straightforward. If you accidentally booked a different time for airline tickets and want to cancel and rebook, it’s a nightmare. All sorts of scammy fees. Even if its within 24hours. They say we will get full refund when we call, and then there will be other charges later. Even the cancellation process is a nightmare.

I booked the intercity cab and the driver refused to take the ride. Second time I called him he lied that his car broke down. Makemytrip called him and the vendor to find a replacement cap for me, but couldn’t. So Makemytrip cancelled my booking and asked me to book somewhere else. I was relying on that cab for going to my sister‘s wedding and finding a cab last minute was very hard to do. Makemytrip is really unreliable.. please avoid.

The worst app to book airline
My family has the worst and unimaginable experience with MakeMyTrip. They are all about money and don’t care about customers. I strongly suggest that no one use them. My nieces are traveling and due to rescheduling of the connecting flight they had to reschedule the last destination flight three times and every time they had to change the flight they had to pay penalty am the cost difference and MakeMyTrip will not help saying that they cannot help. Why do they then do this job?

I’m very confused at the positive reviews-there is absolutely no route to speaking to customer service agents when needed, and the app has glitched out on my flights twice, costing me 160 USD in the last week. If it wasn’t so important to navigate India, I would never use it

The hotel rating was not accurate. Boasted the 3-star hotel as 4-star and sold as over priced. Irresponsible customer care. Better check other sources if you really want to stay as per what you pay.
