Game crashing recently. Can’t play anymore
Recent update is causing my game to crash at load in. This problem is only on my iPad. Game worked mostly fine for the first few months of playing the game besides occasional crashing. Last 3-4 days (after recent update) game would open, load up, and crash before getting into the game. Today I’m able to load up and get into the game but immediately freezes and crashes. I was enjoying the game up to now. Devs please fix the issues.

Hard to enjoy the game. It takes 2 min to load and it crashes constantly. Just from pressing menu buttons, while under minimal load. Annoying is an understatement

After the update, the game keeps crashing and freezing no way to fix it. Not compatible with iOS devices. Need improvements with this issue. Working very well with Android never crashing

This game is a cash grab. I echo what another user said there. Nostalgia is ruined with this BS P2W System. Disgusting way to ruin a classic.

Yeah okay cool game, nostalgic for lots of people. Then you get to above lvl 30 and then not only can you not compare to other players YOU NEVER WILL unless you start paying loads of money.

Weapon summon pass 11$, champ summon pass 19$, paywalled upgrades to certain game features, oh and like 10 different types of currency’s including free red diamonds(not really free considering you can spend money to buy them) and paid blue diamonds.

I don’t know how I can truly justifying spending in this game where there are other idles games that are better. For example, you don’t gain any offline experience gains, but you can purchase your offline experience gain. Compared that to other idles games where I can earn my offline experiences for free and not have to pay a single dime.
Also, can’t support a company where they rigged cubing experience. Super shady!

Honestly can’t justify how greedy this game is even for nexon. The game is set so that swiping your card is the only viable form of progression. Besides spending money to see number get bigger there’s to do. For the idle enjoyer maybe this is it, but if you are a MapleStory fan don’t be fooled. There’s plenty of auto questing in MapleStory M and much more satisfying gameplay and progression/reward for playing
Cash Grabbing Waste of Time
I recently downloaded the MapleIdleRPG Mobile game and…holy cash grab! It’s just awful in my opinion…like absolutely 0 point. You don’t actually interact in any way whatsoever, nothing to actually tap to play a game, and it seems like you’re just forced to pay real money to the RNG Gods for the gear and upgrades you want. Then they still expect you to pay even more real money to even customize your character appearance, and for what?
It’s just an interactive screensaver in my opinion. 😅

Typical South Koreans at Nexon ready to take your money by making this P2W heavily in every sense after level 50. In no way or aspect will you ever be strong without spending money on this game. The likelihood of getting a character from tickets are slim as getting the weapons you need to level up and get stronger. Their game is rigged to make you spend more just so you can slowly catch up on and than they’ll slow you back down again. Every so often they’ll throw you a 2 day offer that will help you level up just for you to realize you dropped $40 here and $60 there to increase your global ranking. That’s it. There is nothing to gain from this game. It’s just a company that’s been greedy since Beta MS.

Don’t bother
Idle game that heats your phone up, nothing to offer other than nostalgia. Game is EXTREMELY pay to win. Devs are being investigated by the Korean FTC for lying to players about rates and have already been fined $7.1 million USD. Very stingy for free to players, they even seize back items they already give out. Expect rollbacks.

Nexon has disappointed all of their players with their recent actions and mishandling of compensation. 1st, the lies told about the cube system causing multiple people spending thousands of dollars rolling for something unattainable. 2nd, due to this issue, compensation was provided to the players as a “sorry”. Only for nexon to mess up in their end and give more compensation than they wanted to. This cause an unexpected maintenance and caused multiple accounts to be ban for 12+ hours (big issue as this is a time base game), due to us using the compensation they provided to us. 3rd, accounts were reverted back to what they were before they fumble the compensation, no compensation for what we really wanted (potential cubes). Instead they gave us crumbs, in attempt to fix the issue. I game I enjoy since launch and got all my friends to play has since left a terrible impression and distrust of anything they say. It’s a shame as I really enjoy this game.

Game was not as expected
Avid maplestory enjoyer and “whale” after seeing the mismanagement and the direction of the game’s p2w system, it was apparent that this was a failing game.
The game’s ceo even came out to apologize so you know its bad.

Critical Developer Error
The app got into main controversies for rigging their pull rng and scammed users on stats that did not apply in game. This prompted a huge controversy and led to the developer team offering full refund on game. At the same week Nexon’s stock fell by 19%. They kept shortening the eligible refund period claim time (from entire February to just within 15 days) and have used many misleading language and refuse to announce the exact pending duration on refunds. Then they banned f2p and all users when the game incorrectly distributed compensation while pulling 2 unannounced maintenance. The team is extremely irresponsible and have constantly made unannounced changes to game that takes away users’ rights and gave no communication.
Do not even attempt to download the game or spend on this. You may highly potentially risk face consequences to any account associate with this game (Nexon related) due to the unpredictability of the gaming developer’s decision.

Joke of a game and company
NEXON continues their shady practices, then when they mess up their own coding with compensation, it’s the players who get temp banned while they fix their mess instead of accepting their mistakes.

Advertised rates that were inaccurate, stats did not work as described, maximum values on rolls impossible, messed up compensation for issues and then banned users who received it. Stay far, far away from this dumpster fire.

I have no idea what that means, but my account just got banned after their 12hour maintenance. That’s the only description I get. No way to appeal, no way to contact, and no way to get back the money I’ve spent on the game. Very very ridiculous. L game for that. I know I didn’t do anything wrong.
Fake Rates and Now rollback due to game mistake.
They already got caught for fake rates and have to issue a full refund to everyone. Now they messed up compensation and are punishing players by doing a rollback. Unserious company.
