Not able to use a pin drop anymore after update. I use to pin drop on a bridge to estimate when a ship will cause it to go up blocking vehicle traffic. That option not available anymore.

I have had this app for quite a long time and ever since the newest update has been done. This app is complete garbage ships that come into the port don’t show up anymore their location doesn’t update for hours if not days. I do not recommend this app anymore. I wish you guys would just put it back the way it was. Instead of putting everything behind subscriptions and pay.

Latest update is terrible. I’ve used this app for years and very much enjoyed it. Now it’s not worth the time. Very sad to say.
Bring back light blue map
Can you PLEASE bring back the light blue lap layer? You had this for one version in April of 2026 and then removed it. It was the closest to the original map you had prior to the horrible major renovation to your app. Your current maps’ international boundaries are so dark they block the display of vessels in narrow waterways such as the St. Lawrence River.

I agree with others. Clunky, hard to track vessels and usually wrong. I’ll be looking at the ship in front of me and the map shows completely different location. App show an old satellite photo of port with ships that are not there. Get rid of that!!!

The "simple" map is not well designed. It makes no sense that land masses would be shaded darker than water. I've been finding it extremely disorienting.
Can’t see ship dimensions anymore
With the updated interface, you can no longer see the dimensions of other boats and also cannot book mark your friend’s boats without paying for the upgraded version. This app has taken away what members want and use, trying to make us pay for it.

Ruined. I spent a lot of time defending this app on the two updates ago…but the latest update ruined the entire experience. I can’t access my account even trying to reset my password doesn’t work. So I tried to start a new account nope I can’t add vessels to a fleet. The amount of vessels allowed even if I could is cut in half. Ruin your own app for everyone because you want more money. I’ll find a different app.

Terrible new design. Change for the sake of change. I used to be able to see the ships transponder messages now they are gone. Silently moved AIS data to a paid feature. Bait and switch. Its clunky. And now when you click on a ship it takes up the screen and you have to manually full screen it. Now, every time you click on a ship it re-centers on the ship moving the map. Ugg. Software Engineers, change for the sake of change - sadness.

Satellite AIS bait and switch
I mostly like the app, but after subscribing to the mobile pro plan, I’m still getting prompted to subscribe for access to satellite AIS, AND their support page doesn’t allow you to use Gmail accounts when submitting a support ticket. Feels like a very anti-consumer practice.
Spam generator galore
Sign up beware. Nothing but a scam to get your email and then pepper you we countless solicitations.

The most recent updates have ruined the app. It’s now useless, and I will stop using it. If you revert back to early ‘26 version I will use it again.
New app is terrible
This app was updated very recently. It is now designed only to drive you to the paid version, advertising is apparently not enough. You can save favorites, if you click on the wrong boat with the same name then you have to start the search over. Weak.

Locations frozen and not updating
For two days, AIS signals have been frozen. And not updating. I was hoping the latest update of the app. But it didn’t. Tried to submit a problem report, but there was no avenue to do that. So I’m just writing it in a review.

The latest update is complete garbage. Been using this app for close to 10 years and am very disappointed. The costs have grown out of control and the new layout is not nearly as intuitive or user friendly as the past. Time to find a new AIS app.

New format not usable
I was disappointed to discover how non-functional the new version is, and even more disappointed to see that people who actually supply your data through their own monitoring stations are also unhappy with it. It also looks like many people are dissatisfied with your response to their queries and critiques.

Revised review
I deleted a previous review because I accidentally gave it more stars than it deserved. Been using this app for years and loved it. Recommended it to people. Recent update has completely cluttered the view, changed the ship icons and when I click on a ship to see what it is, the photo screen covers the map, which is greatly annoying. I just downloaded a competitor’s app and it’s way better than this horrible update. Sorry to see it go. Programmers sometimes make stupid changes not understanding how people actually use an app.

Charged me multiple times and still did not provide promised information. Used to be a good and helpful app. Now a scam/fraud/rip-off. BEWARE!

Do not like the new update
I had been using this app for years and the newest update is irritating. I now need to pay $29.99 a year to see the dimensions of the ships. That is ridiculous. The new UI is also difficult, the simple version strips out too much detail and again to get a more detailed version you want me to pay $29.99. Just disappointed.

Used this app for years and now it’s worthless trash. Expensive upgrades to have a worse interface, less features, more bugs, and less accessible ships. Garbage.
Worst update EVER
I have been a loyal user of this app since 2014. After the most recent money grab update I am actively searching for a replacement. It made every single thing about this app worse. I would gladly pay for the old one but now I am preaching to everyone I work with or talk to on the water how bad this app is. Tracking is now garbage. Map layer default is now infuriating and paywall locked. Finding ships/tugs in an area is now extremely unreliable. Sometimes doesn’t show at all, sometimes it doesn’t show until you have basically zoomed all the way in on a spot. I cannot stress how big of an L this is.

Upgrade is garbage
They took one of my favorite apps which I’ve used for years and ruined it. Terrible new user interface, it’s now very slow and they removed some of the features like density maps from all except the Enterprise version. Extremely disappointed!

What a disappointing change to an otherwise good app. Functionality is reduced, prices are up and this one will be removed from my devices.
The new update is trash
Revert the app back to the old way, 75 percent of the vessels no longer show up on view, you no longer have track lines for the vessels to show prediction of where they will be, the vessels location and speed don’t update on a regular basis causing issues with us mariners using it for work purposes on when to meet ships and other vessels to assist them. The new version sucks plain and simple. That is all.
