No Customer Service
Having issues with receiving the same alerts over and over. I set an alert for a stock at a certain price and every day I get an alert for it. I tried emailing customer service and got no response, reached out on twitter still no response.

Used to be great, then they ‘updated it’ now it’s horrendous. Still no dark mode. Glitches all the time. News function is essentially worthless. Half the things don’t work when you’re in the app. I am not renewing, for $150/mo this should be way better.

Industries used to have RS rating on their charts in legacy version. Please bring it back.
Industry used to have weekly volume % change on weekly chart underneath the weekly price and price change %. Now it is only weekly volume number without percentage weekly volume. Please bring it back.
New app does not allow to swipe through stocks or industries if list has more than 100 tickers on it. Please bring back swipe feature to Left and right to go through charts.
List sorting option now lacks sort by “flag” or “date added” feature. So we can’t sort the list by flag in the app. It is possible on desktop version. Please add sort by “flag” and “date added” options back on mobile app. “Date added” sort option is not on desktop version either. Please add it at both mobile and desktop version
Please bring back above things from legacy version. those things make market surge unique and above all other charting services and software. It’s truly an edge to have those features.

So they have forced a new charting system on us and it’s fraught with issues! I spent hours putting together my buy list to take advantage of the follow through day and my list was deleted. This horrible decision by them to change their charts has cost me tens of thousands of dollars. I’m disgusted with MarketSurge!
No charts for weeks

My inbox has not recovered since I signed up for this service. They sold my email and I get bombarded with spam every day. Dozens of emails. And I have no way to stop them.

Dow jones needs to sync the app with MarketSurge. Avoid market search to they fix thinking problem with the app and market search and they translate to the new market search and fix the list problem synchronization with the app.

Just forced to do an update and now nothing works. My lists are gone, favorites are gone. Even sort order doesn’t work any more. Various system generated lists used to show up in the order of new additions to the list. Now that doesn’t work either. Please fix it!

The new upgrade is Very Hard to use. The Design and organization looks Amateurish. More Importantly, there are Large Gaps in Data. Data just down Not Load. This is MalPractice. And IBD being IBD, Does Not Care. I am a customer for 20 years! IBD and now WSJ Management, Never had much Empathy for it customers.
If you are New, Do Not Buy MarketSurge.

The new update coming from the Beta platform sucks. We lost the ability to review quarterly eps and sales data. Please fix it!!
Mobile App has significant issues
The mobile app doesn’t allow to Sort by Symbol, or Ticker. The charts just display in random order. The App is unusable. Don’t know what else to do.
Lately it breaks swiping right to left
Erratically it exits program when swiping through chart lists right to left. Using iphone 17, ios latest

I hope they fixed this new version but the new app version is nothing close to what the old one was and all my charts are screwed up. It’s like I have to start over and it’s costing me a lot very disappointing.

Why would you remove RS and ESP numbers next to the stocks in the lists? That was a huge help in fast screening. Isn’t this why people pay a premium to get? Those metrics.
Why did you remove the initial overview of the stock metrics when clicking on individual stocks? Replaced it with that snapshot menu without any numbers. Makes it slower to screen when you have to go through that menu. Before it was all there when you clicked on a stock and then you could decide to click on individual menu tabs to get more info.

Update reordered data and is LESS useful.
The update was a change of data order that is now less useful. Served no purpose whatsoever. Just makes me reconsider renewing my subscription.

Glitch
Both my iPhone and I pad glitch as I scroll thru stock screens. No problem with MarketSmith. Nothing but problems with market surge reached out to support tried there fix and that did nothing.
Time to cancel
The app will not allow new stock symbols for search or charting. Completely useless.

Since recent update can’t sort lists, by industry group for example, making you review or scroll through charts you would normally screen.
Why change
Latest change a step backwards. Why did you change? No improvement at all.! Now I cannot delete stocks from my lists. New fundamentals page sucks. Did you ask any users if a change was needed??

I would’ve given it a five prior to the recent update. Everything was great until 6.0 update. Several problems two numerous to mention. Here are a few: frequent crashes, not showing RS, unable to scroll lists etc. The new way update doesn’t allow customer service to be contacted either.

A great app that I use several times a day. Depth of information and filters allow me to quickly assess individual and group stocks. However, incessant log ins and deactivation of face ID make this the MOST HIGH MAINTENANCE app on my IOS device. Two attempts to get this resolved with the developer where met first with shrugged shoulders and next with no response.
