Great for the first year but had progressively turned into a swamp. Buggy, toxic, frustrating. I have no interest in this.

Unfriendly for returning and new players
The game used to be fun and has potential, but if you are new or returning, you will lose over and over and you will spend 10x the time grinding to get a fraction of what high leveled players receive. My CL is around 7k and yet all of the opponents I’ve seen from 12k to 35k CL. They have the meta decks and the cards you will take years to earn if you aren’t spending money. RNG seems to either work really well in your favor or really poorly, whether that’s the cards you pull or if your opponent is playing the exact deck to counter you, which feels intentional. You will earn a bunch of cards and varients that will excite you until you release you will never get the chance to use them.
This crashes way too much
This game is actually fun to play, if you can play it. It’s been crashing on my ipad for 3 years now. It also crashes on my iPhone but not as much. After years of complaints it’s still not patched. Developers only want in game purchases. Should be 5 stars but greedy lazy developers don’t fix the bugs.
Made for whales and grinders
Predatory card acquisition mechanics. Returning player after a year. The deviation between rate they release new cards compared to the rate you can earn currency to earn those cards is significant. Looking at what I’ve missed, and how often I can play (and hour or so a day), I’ll never catch up and only be buried by more releases. That’s unless you take their 50 or 100 dollar offers to buy ONE card. It’s probably doable if you play 4+ hours a day. Very disappointing as this isn’t what it was on release

I really wanted to like Marvel Snap, but it’s gotten increasingly frustrating. The game feels less about strategy and more about keeping up with whatever the latest overpowered card is. If you don’t buy the season pass or keep spending, you’re at a clear disadvantage. Right now it feels more like a cash grab than a strategy card game.

Just now, after updating the app and playing my first game, the looping started right after the second location revealed.
In that same timeframe, we’ve gotten great additions like pop-up ads whenever you go back to the main screen, or after hitting a certain rank in ladder and event modes, or after obtaining certain cards.
I used to spend money on this game because it was enjoyable; the bugs, recent OP/broken cards, and an extremely boringly stale meta, have ensured the company won’t see a single dime again within the foreseeable future.

Pay to Win is strong
It follows the standard formula of power creep of new cards, then “balance” nerfing those cards after they aren’t new, so you have to buy the new-new cards. There’s very little chance for counter play, as a card that stops one thing is worthless against the new thing they introduced.
Unfortunate too many crashes
Game keeps crashing. Which is sad because I enjoy it. Unfortunately every time it crashes i wanna throw my phone. If it wasn’t for that id spend money on it like pokemon. Fix the crash issues and you’ll have a loyal player.
No help from customer service
I use to play this game all the time and have spent money on it. Now the game constantly crashes or doesn’t even open. I have contacted support several times since December about the ongoing issues and they keep saying they will look into it. No responses back offering help, refunds, or compensation. Very unhappy about how a customer since they started has been treated with reoccurring problems. They need to fix their bugs because many people are having the same issues.

Incredibly frustrating to login
App continuously froze so deleted and reinstalled. Then did not allow me access old account. Went through the “recruit “ level all over again to get to support. Because you can’t get support from the initial screen (it throws you into the recruit stages immediately). Contacted support and provided information to restore account. No follow up. Asked for status and ended up back at the recruit screen. I decline to go through this drill again. It was fun game while it lasted, but it appears the fun’s over.
Update: tried support link on app website, as opposed to in-game support first time around. Same bot questions, same referral of my issue to “the relevant team” for “investigation.” Two days later, no update. So I’ve asked for status.
Update 2: acct restored, so credit where credit is due. Still no idea what exactly caused the problem in the first place, but I suggest not deleting and reinstalling unless you have absolutely no other alternative. Th

What are we doing
One of snaps biggest problems is the experience for new players. I cannot and will not recommend anyone to play this game sadly it’s to much of an investment. while this is true somehow even though the taxing for card they can’t make a functioning game. Crashes happen to everyone even snap youtubers. Wtf are we doing i went back to play clash royale and the game felt so smooth compared to snap. Also the meta is just bland nowadays. It’s all about building the biggest sandcastle and hoping you get your rock paper scissors matchup. Buff tech again i’m tired of playing rock paper scissors .

Game use to be fun but people just go to Reddit to find what is the best deck to use and modders. And the developers don’t do anything about it don’t waste your time trying to report it. If I could post a pic or video I would but buy at your own risk. Same recycle mess every month.
Constant Crashes on iOS
I’ve left Bug reports for months but I see the only way to get attention is a 1 star review? You see, a large portion of my alliance played on their iPhones, and all have to suffer through the game constantly crashing. The game loves to crash when you get your match up, so when you log back in the game is over and you lost, not having been able to do anything. I see this happen to my opponents too. It’s not fair or fun. It also likes to crash in the middle of matches. Or when you’re looking at your cards. Every update I hope they’ll fix it and they never do. It’s hard to keep my alliance playing with all these crashes and a bevy of other issues, like lost trust from scummy monetization, and removal of good alliance rewards.

I’ve had this game since release & for 2-3yrs now, it keeps crashing 5-10 times a day. It doesn’t matter what day & it still crashes. I always update this game & my phone, I’ve even reported this bug to developers & it’s still not fixed. Anytime I open this app it crashes in 2 minutes. So I have no choice but to see this as a sign to stop playing this game cause it sucks since its unplayable & the developers suck cause they won’t fix it!

Pay to win buggy
This used to be my favorite mobile game. Now it’s buggy. Crashed multiple times per day. Extreme pay to win cards of late. Your opponents deck will always be the counter to yours. Until you change decks. Then your opponents decks change with it. Bots galore. Worst and most useless customer support ever. RIP

Bug filled mess
To the devs responding to all the comments saying the game is a buggy mess that crashes all the time asking us to give them specifics is exactly the problem.

Nice (not nice) to look through reviews and see im not the only one experiencing the crashing. Yeaaa developers the game is unplayable- at least for iPhone users ss my brother has android and hasn’t been experiencing these crashes. I tried uninstalling and signing back in which did nothing i honestly think with all the events and everything it’s making the app crash maybe due to graphics and cache overload idk so send out a new update. Played since the beginning, thinking about quitting
I’m a long time player but recently their game has begun to crash more often than work, especially during any of their events. I have brought this to their attention many times but they will not do anything about. Very frustrating to be kicked from a match, missing an entire turn due to their junky servers and becoming a “pay to play” type of game. A shame from such a game that was once the only game on my device…not anymore.

Keeps on closing with Lagg
I am writing this about my game slowing down after playing a match or 2, after that either the game goes smoothly or kick me out of the game and takes forever to load the game back, so please fix this problem cause it make me lose the game every time it kicks me out of the game and it never stops happening so plz fix this. Not Enjoyable
This game constantly crashes.If you’re a new player be prepared to spend thousands of dollars to some what catch up.Fun upon launch but now it’s garbage.
Not the best beginner experience
I started playing in March 2026 and found the experience challenging. You don’t have as many cards but at the same time, the game rewards only the winners (the loser gets no compensation) which exacerbates the issue. The exception is spending money. I’m sure they’re at a point where they don’t need to expand their player base though.

Well, I have this game like two years ago and I just re-downloaded it to give it another chance still has the same issue I want to play so bad

Cheats and bug problems
Don’t give me wrong. The game is fun. I just noticed a lot of bots and a lot of cheating while playing their decks changing mid fight. Also additional cards I’ve seen all kinds of things happen during these card battles. They are definitely not fair. I’ve also battled one of my old accounts that I could not log back into I also believe regular players know how to cheat somehow as well
This game wants you to fail
Don’t try to get infinite if you care about your sanity. You can spend all day playing and never progress. This game loves to waste your time. It can seem like you’re purposefully matched into games that are built for you to fail. If you play this game, be satisfied with reaching rank 90, because you’ll be put up against players with the perfect deck to counter you from that point forward.

Unplayable. Crashes for anything I do. Uninstalled twice and still didn’t fix it. All you see is devs say “email us to figure it out” as if the problem is on our end. Too many reviews have talked about the crashes and it’s still the same.

I bought the premium and after pack for May.But when I got to level 11.Level 12 said a fatal error occurred.It closed and when I got in again all the level above it said I needed to buy premium pack again.NO you need to give me what I paid for.

What is the point of buying a season pass if you’re just going to nerf the card to oblivion? Make Starlord worth it again, I feel like I wasted my money.
game controls winner
With most aspects of the game controlled by the game itself, the game chooses winner. You will be amazed how many times the board or the opposing player is on the ropes but the game decides who wins based off draws, tile events, turn order (yep the game decides “randomly”who goes first). Got what you need to win… to bad your going second. Alternatively, getting new cards which are meta and improve your odds of having a competitive chance, are hard to come by.
Nigh-unplayable on mobile
This game crashes every two to five matches on mobile. Once again, I just lost a match because of a crash. Lots of other players have the same problem. If you play on Steam, it’s fine, but on mobile it’s infuriating. Just deleted the app from my phone, I’m done.

Game is super awesome but it glitches so often, even in the middle of a game which can be frustrating. But overall great game when it works properly.
