Huge waste of money - and hope.

On match? Y’all have enough money to get this under control. I just joined and have had about 3 people already try to get me on WhatsApp. I know Match doesn’t care not one bit that their real users are being harassed by scammers as long as their bottom line is met. Trash. If match doesn’t meet the basic standard… what’s the point? Great job match. Worst than tinder and bumble with the scammers.

Match is infiltrated with scammer profiles and they do nothing about it. It’s a shame they ask for money to pretend that it elevates and enhances your matches. Never again! Disgusting!

The emails received (“You have a like!”) are totally disconnected from the app, almost as if they are completely made up. The “preferences” filters on Search are completely ignored. This app, and this site, are a complete waste of time and money. Customer support is less competent than an AI robot. There are better dating apps out there.
No to Match
Paid the $8 to see who I matched with. Gave me 3 people who liked me. They were all out of my area. Not even close to my location. Total waste of money.
Repeat to draw you in
So I have been on and off match for over a year. When you are a member they will occasionally match you with somebody that is apparently interested in you. Then that same person keeps popping up over and over again trying to entice you. After you cancel your membership you will get flooded with a dozens of people “ waiting to meet you” only to find out it’s the same three people that you already rejected over and over again. Stay away!

There’s a lot of fake profiles on match. I am not sure, if that is intentional by match/like bots or just real fake profile by people who are either selling something or want followers for their personal social media.

I have been a member of two other dating sites. I’ve been on match for about a month now. I’ve tried to connect with 6 ladies and everyone of them has been a scam. Be on the lookout for ladies jumping right to other sites to talk to you after two or three text. They eventually get around to asking for money for something. Be aware
Horrible Customer Service
There has been a glitch for most of the time I have been a member. When I am emailed just about everyday from Match with the names of the gentleman who said they showed interest in me, I am told to click to get their profile. It never works! Ever! It shows me profiles of other people. I have tried to contact customer care several times and it’s never resolved after. It’s the worst not having a phone number to call and speak to a person, but they do know how to quickly charge my credit card when the time creeps up. I am totally hating this company and app.
Radius
If you could make the search by state vs radius that would be awesome especially if you live at the beach. A 26 mile radius sends me to Brooklyn, Staten Island, etc because it’s a straight line.

So far of the 4 matches I’ve shared my number with, two were scammers! Googling their photo told the whole story. I’m disappointed that a paying dating app doesn’t do a better job.

So many fake profiles people trying to get your phone number and then scam you. Even if you pay you have to pay again to actually use the app and then it’s loaded with advertising. There is nobody on here that actually wants to meet or have a relationship this app is a total scam.

I have met people on match and they were good relationships. I recently have been banned when I wasn’t even using the app. They don’t even care they lost a customer.

Gotten nearly unusable; swiping is too sensitive
Mostly fake profiles with no text now. This app used to be worth a few dates per year but no one really connects anymore. They also have a hypersensitive swipe system where it’s easy to swipe incorrectly on a person, then try to charge you for a rewind. I can see why the company is worth a lot less money now.

I was on another site owned by the same group and they share your picture all over the place and then tell you people are commenting on your own don't you want to see what they said and ask you to subscribe there it's a money pit I'm cancelling!
95% scammers
Most everyone I’ve matched to has been a scammer. Match has caught most but jeez it’s everybody. Also, the app is quirky vs the website interface (better).

Rethinking my subscription
Dating app on a whole can be frustrating and time consuming but this app has too many bots, phony people and scammers. I realize when I don’t subscribe, I get many likes and messages that I’m not able to see. When I do pay for a subscription, the likes and messages seem to diminish. It would appear that the app entices people when they are not subscribed knowing they can’t respond or view the messages.
Match is a horrible platform
After a month a lot has been learned. If you’re a man, you’ll find that more than 90% of the responses u get are fake. The respondents are either bots, scammers or fraudsters trying to get your money. They want you to invest in cryptocurrency schemes or gold!
Also the customer support is either nonexistent or too slow.

This app is LOADED with scammers - 9 out of 10 messages were BS. One month was all I needed to remind me - single is better than another day of this hot mess! Goodluck to you all!♥️

Several fake profiles trying to scam people on here. You should take some accountability. Several from Escondido Ca with a couple pics and no info. Most of the attractive people on here. This used to be a good app.

Match is just a room full of bots all asking “how is your search going on this app?” and “ let’s get out of this and switch to WhatsApp”. Absolutely ridiculous. Match allows these bots to join for free to make it look like there’s a lot of attractive possibilities Come up with something more original to mine data! I’d like my money back please

I downloaded the app and made a profile. Then when I went to go onto my profile later on, it said I was blocked. I have no clue as to why I was blocked from logging in. I emailed support and then they said that I didn’t have an account, but when I sent them a screenshot of emails that they sent me, they sent me a message saying that my account is banned and that it was a final review. Do not waste your time on here.
Misleading Info
Ad claims no subscriptions to view likes , messages or profile views. The reality is, it’s high… way high, like $200 one time payment! Bad advertising!

Done with Match. More scam profiles than real anymore. Doesn’t deliver anything close to the profile specifications I have set as deal breaker. Just a place for people to try and prey on singles anymore. Worthless.

There is a large number of fake profiles. You can try and report but 9/10 by the time you realize it they have unmatched. It’s not a good reporting system. Or apparently there’s no profile verification being done.

Com’ experience has been disappointing at the very least!!!:(😝😝. …With my user experience, I can almost look right at a certain profile, and tell you within a minute that that profile is totally fake!!!!:(😝😝. …I have also received countless notifications from ‘Match’ that certain profiles were flagged for inappropriate behavior, or just totally fake!!!:(. …The way I feel right now, I would not recommend Match to anyone looking for a true, honest relationship, and I think my days on here are just a waste of time and money, as if I can spot a fake profile a mile away, I would think that Match could as well!!:(😝😝. Seems to be glitchy
I attempted to log into the app a few times. The first time I was locked out after creating a profile, could never log back in. In seeking help match told me I had not created a profile. I attempted to set up again and ironically it would not let me do so with the same email. I then used another email and managed to setup. In attempting to verify the account I ran into issues and then was blocked after adding a face pic and writing my profile brief. Match never answered why. I had hope it would be a decent app because it’s been around for a while. But my experience was poor. I am just glad I never paid anything

For years Match relentlessly sends me profiles of very large black women when my profile specifically dictates that I am only interested in athletic white women. Your algorithm stinks and you don’t care.

After successfully registering and paying, I was unable to log in to the app. It showed that my email account was missing, and there was no customer service to resolve the issue. The service was poor.
No support
Purchased one week subscription and on third day I cannot see likes or who viewed me. Worst part is you can’t talk to anyone. It wants me to upgrade but I still have 4 days left and shouldn’t be limited
