Fool again!
This is yet another game with a misleading ad, promising to deliver a fun game where you clear the way to save someone from rocks, monsters, or drowning, but is actually just another match game. GRRR!
Fraudulent charges.
Thought the game was great until I received a charge for a pass I never purchased at a time when I not only didn’t have my phone, but it was shut off. Apple did refund me, but hella sketchy.

Now the app crashes every time you start a level. Used to work. Don’t see any way to report a problem or get support though. Thanks a lot
They’ve taken all the fun out of it
With each update they take away more. It’s a shameless cash grab. I refuse to pay money for anything in this game , especially since they keep taking things away. You used to get 1k for clearing a train now you get 60. Their Tetris type knockoff mini game now had minimum point requirement. So you end up losing unless you have enough points to continue. They added a shrink ray game with a wheel spin that consistently gives low score

Way too hard and frustrating. Way too few moves. Scanty prizes, especially coins. It’s a pay-to-play game if you want to pass levels.
Used to love this game
Now it’s nothing more than a very frustrating pay to play. You made it impossible to win even the easy levels without spending an outrageous amount of coins, and I guess it’s no coincidence that I keep losing by one move now. I used to spend money on this game, but not anymore. To expensive & nothing more than a cash grab. It’s a shame.

i never leave reviews but i just had to come here for this. NOTHING like the ads which was the whole reason i downloaded in the first place. played like one level and it’s just an off brand candy crush. unoriginal, boring, and cringe. if i could give it no stars, i would.

I’ve played many games like this one. I got to level 30 and deleted it. The game is unnecessarily hard. I’m playing levels where I’m not even close to winning and I just started playing. I guess they don’t want new customers playing.

Icy Blocks was once a fun side game and value add to the overall game of Match Villains. The new infuriating and unpredictable splash screen that prompts you to spend more blocks to extend time and then trashes your score when you decline it is very frustrating.
Should be illegal
All games with in-app purchases should be illegal and anyone who peddles them, including Apple executives, should live out the rest of their worthless lives in a dungeon.

The promotion for the game looked engaging and fun, and yet the game itself is dull, flat and boring. The only element of the game that is also in the promotion is that there is matching. Don’t waste your time.

I love the game but they keep decreasing the awards and now if you aren’t able to complete a game, it would cost 900 coins and now it’s 1050. I hate to admit it but I would spend a minimum of $150 each week. But less rewards and more coins to continue a game with a whopping 5 more tries is ridiculous.

Just another “what you see advertised ain’t what you get” warmed over version of the boring match three googled-eye king game.
Not Fun
Game used to be fun, great graphics and characters without ads. However Developers completely destroyed the fun, you have to pay to even be able to continue with casual play. Building up anything has become impossible and offensive. Burnout is quick. Games within games like Duels are difficult and team placements repetitive. It might be fun for a month or two, but when you realize you in a greedy machine you will either pay to feed or delete and move on.

If you came here because of the fun looking ads where they have to dig their way out of a jam, turn around. Sick of these apps tricking us. It’s no different than a typical match game. How does it have so many good reviews!?

Recent updates ruined it
Used to be fun and challenging without being frustrating. With the latest update it’s not even the same game. It’s impossible to maintain a streak. There are less moves per level and they took away most of the free perks with a $2.00 charge for players to use them. I was a team leader and really enjoyed playing this game until this last update which I can only assume is motivated by money.

None of the original games in the advertised play are available!!!!
It was fun for a little while.
This one was advertised as more fun because it doesn’t get so hard you can’t play anymore. What a joke! It’s harder! I only got to play for a few days and it is to the point where it is impossible to move on. What a waste of time!
Not like the ads I saw
I’m only on level 24, but it is not at all like the advertisements for the game. So far it’s been sort of boring.

Unfortunately the creators have made missions impossible to win now. Multiple changes to the challenges and each change makes it more impossible to finish. Use to love this game, but considering leaving it… it’s not fun anymore.
