waste of time and money
I paid for this app and I wish i could get my money back. I am constantly getting logged out, constantly getting an error that my image doesnt contain an equation, and my history of equations is never saved. I havent been able to use this app whatsoever, I tried reinstalling, updating, and nothing works.

Helpful but annoying
Constantly having to sign in after a short period! Signing in can be a pain because it won”t accept your password but eventually works after like 4-5 tries! UNACCEPTABLE! Some problems are unable to solve- I pay for this app and other apps solve it no problem. I’m ditching this app. HORRIBLE.
Deleting Mathway forever.
The app worked fine until it started asking me questions about “cookies” and would not go away. I can’t even get my results from my equations because the question pop up add keeps blocking them. Deleting the app. Never trying it again. FIX THE ISSUE.

The cookie button is covering the answer no matter what. I’ve used this app for years but now no longer can use it. Will be finding another app since this seems to be something that won’t be addressed as it’s been there for days.

I love this app, it’s the same one I’ve used since middle school and I’m in college now. However, I’m not sure if it’s from a recent update for mobile, but the little green button for accepting/rejecting cookies covers the answer on most problems. From what I understand as well, there’s no way to make it go away either. When I attempt to use the website instead, I’m stuck in an infinite loading loop for the answer. I hope these problems may be resolved soon or else I will have to look for a different app.

Do not sell my info button cookies
Ive used this app for a long time but today theres a green button asking about website cookie preferences called DO NOT SELL MY INFO. Theres no way to dismiss it and it covers the solution anytime I enter a problem. Overnight this app has become useless because I can’t even see the answer.

The stupid green cookies icon won’t go away, even after I accepted cookies and signed in. It’s blocking the first part of the answer.
it doesn’t work
i have good wifi but every time i try to use the app it says it doesn’t work and to try again later. this is unacceptable when i paid for the service and it continues to be useless.
Keeps logging out with use
For many months now, I’ve had the issue where the app will log out when using it, sometimes requiring re-logging in it a dozen times per homework night. I’ve contacted support multiple times who give me the brush off. Two months of them brushing me off in fact. *somehow* old review got removed after developer responded suggesting contacting support.

App stops working
So I had this app for a good while, the first few uses was good, then after a few months, the app stops working. Pictures I take it won’t process it. I type it in and still won’t process the problem. I used a different app and I magically got results with no issues. I did everything to restarting my device, the app cache and so on and it won’t work on problems that seem easy. :/ really disappointed.
Horrible calculator
The calculator is so trash like is this a glitch or what? Seriously I try to like put equations to solve there and they will not solve. Literally Google can do language better.
Used to love it
I used to love it, it was one of my favorite apps for homework, for one I can no longer see the answers. It either takes 10 mins to load or never even shows it. I also discovered that somehow it started a subscription!!! never in my life have I subscribed but when I went to delete it, it told me I had subscribed!!! I have no idea how much money it’s taken or how long this has gone on. I’ve never been able to see the way it works out the problems. It always tells me to purchase a subscription. I’m infuriated at this.

I love this calculator app. its my most favorite. However, for the past week or so it has not been working whatsoever. it will never load an answer even to normal easy questions. At times it wont even let me type anything and when i press the keys nothing happens. i literally cant use this app. yes i have turned my phone on and off again. yes i deleted the app and redownloaded
Went downhill
This app used to be so great, but now it’s so buggy and the camera doesn’t work anymore- it just says “unable to detect math problem” for literally any math problem. The keyboard function is laggy and doesn’t register half your inputs, and after i subscribed to see step-by-step the solutions started taking 10x longer to load. like, i literally waited 2 mins for it to load one time when it used to be instant. This app desperately needs an update, if it continues to be so buggy I’m switching to Photomath!
Doesn’t work
The app didn’t work for me. When I enter a problem and press submit, nothing happens; It just redirects to a blank screen labeled “Solution”.

Mathway is no longer working properly. Any word from the developers? I have had a paid subscription for years and never had an issue until recently.
Constant problems
I keep getting the error “something went wrong.” I get this error at least once a week. The only way I can use the app when this happens is to delete then redownload. It's not worth the money if they can't provide a reliabley app.
Glitching lately
The app is normally okay, but lately it hasn't been working. I have reinstalled multiple times. It won't scan the problem with the camera. It sometimes won't even be able to detect the problem when I type it in.

App randomly stops working for days at a time. I paid for the subscription and it works significantly worse after doing so. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO THIS APP find another one that works consistently or use the free online version. I’m going to have to try and chargeback the Sub. Hopefully they fix the issue because when it does work it has been helpful.

Unable to Detect Math Problem???
I’ve been using this app for a year and on a random tuesday it just decides to stop working. All it says is “unable to detect math problem” and I’ve done it with many different types of problems and even simple math just to see if it was the problem or the system. It’s the system.
Not working anymore
Everytime I take a photo of a problem it can’t read it and I have it clearly focused around the problem
The camera stopped working and couldn’t get my work done because of it.
I’ll change my review if it gets fixed before my test tomorrow
