Buggy app populated almost exclusively by scammers
The app is FILLED with girls selling their pictures and services (or just straight up scammers) and you can see pretty fast how the same pictures magically reappear for different profiles. Moderation appears to be near non existent. Also, the app is insanely buggy. You have to close it and reopen it every time you get new messages, otherwise they don’t appear in the chat list. UI is confusing too. It’s also arguably not even for finding “friends” since it has the swipe right/left thing like Tinder and defaults to the opposite sex. The only plus I can find is that it basically lets you swipe indefinitely and doesn’t limit how many people you can chat with. All in all, I had high hopes based on the reviews but perhaps those are fake too :/

界面上有同意按钮，点了之后接不到视频，还有可能跳到随机视频匹配的界面，但是好像在app里没有这个功能（记得以前有，但是现在只有心动邂逅了）

Idk if this app takes time to verify your account or idk but I've send many request and check if people have even clicked my account and only says one, I know my account isn't appearing to them bc it's been 2 days now and none have even viewed my account or people have added me, before I used to have this app and would get 20 friend request daily and now none
Unnecessary verification
Absolutely HORRIBLE! I’ve tried to verify my phone numbers multiple times and it still won’t verify I’m beyond angry theres no need for phone verification if I can’t even make it function right.
Ban upon signup
I can’t even get to try app everytime I try to sign up it immediately bans my account which is weird I’ve don’t nothing wrong and never got to use the app

They have not fixed the vibemeet video chat and persist on in app purchase and putting more ads, the app is so terrible

To be honest, I really don’t understand this app. I tried twice to make an account and I keep getting banned while in the 24 hour review. I did nothing sexual, my pictures were clear, I don’t edit my pictures, I tried with only 2 photos and one with several, short bio, long bio, I filled the prompts correctly, etc.
I’m not trying to be rude but how do you expect your app to get any positive feedback when it’s almost impossible to join? I moved to another country recently and just wanted to make friends but I keep getting banned with no details as to why I’m getting banned so I can’t even attempt to fix the issue.
I read a lot of negative things about this app, but I wanted to try it out for myself without a biased opinion so this is really unfortunate.

What's the profile standards for Meeff? I'm genuine, follow rules and don't show any skin or put weird things in my bio. There's no action I can take to appeal to be un-banned from a violation I've committed, and no way to ever know which violation got me banned, if any (possible racism)?

Banned immediately
I created an account and waited to be approved only to be notified when trying to sign in that my account was banned. I have no idea why my account would be banned as I legit don’t do anything on the internet. I barely use my FB or Instagram, I don’t have an X or Reddit account. I don’t know what security threat I could be. I uploaded actual photos of me and was honest about why I was creating the account.

Almost scammed
This app needs to remove all people who don’t facially prove they are who they are I recently got into a relationship and this individual started trying to guilt trip me into giving them money the developers need to do a better job at keeping this app safe and real this person was trying to emotionally manipulate me into giving in to their desires. Not good….
Banned before using the app
Okay so I decided to try the app out. I uploaded two photos of me one with a white top and another at a strawberry picking farm and waited for 24 hours. I even wrote a simple bio to to keep it short and sweet and I checked it next thing you know it says “your account is banned” what for? I didn’t do anything and I didn’t even break any rules. This app is legit scam. Don’t try it😕
Does nothing to keep minors off the app
They say they make the app for adults only, yet minors still get away with making an account while MEEFF does nothing about it because they profit from having more users, pretty sad state of affairs that they’ve met this go on for so long. Totally unacceptable and needs to be fixed NOW. You see this MEEFF? Fix it already and stop being lazy. No excuse for this nonsense. None. Want to end up with a reputation like Roblox? This is the way to do it.

I was making my profile and i had to wait 24 hours. After the 24 hours, I was banned. I didn’t even get a chance to use the app.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS, AMERICANS
Good grief, where do I start.. all I wanted to do was make friends and chat with Korean people because I enjoy what I've seen of their culture from watching KBS, and this app was recommended by a google search after a disastrous experience with K-Dating ..long story short, everyone who contacted me insisted on me using WhatsApp bcuz they claimed it's "easier" to chat there -which it ISN'T but it DOES expose your phone number (used as your ID and a verification code is required for signup so you can't keep your number private if you want to sign up).. guys on this app tend to use "stock" photos found on the net instead of real photos and ask YOU a lot of questions but don't answer YOUR questions, and if that doesn't tell you they're potential scammers, nothing will.
The whole thing is a huge disappointment to me as all I wanted to do was just make friends from a culture I find interesting; I'm a grandma, I'm not looking for a hookup or be a Sugar Mama! I just wanted to CHAT with an actual, honest person or two, and learn things like what's this "Chair King" I've seen/heard of in KBS programs that a foreigner like me wouldn't know the meaning of, y'know?
So sincerely, if you're an American, they'll eat you alive and I highly, HIGHLY recommend you avoid this app.. and K-Dating .. and Line.. I think they're all owned by the same "company" so watch out!

Inexplicable title
I'm a long-time user of Meeff. Since I reinstalled the app, it has required me to log in again, but my phone hasn't been able to receive the verification code no matter what. I can receive verification codes normally from all other apps, except yours. This has resulted in a very poor user experience, and I hope you can resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Está demasiado pésima y deficiente en la aplicación. Me quiero pasar mi cuenta de Android al iPhone y no me lo permite. Aparte he intentado crearme cuatro cuentas y tampoco me lo permite me las bloquea. Además de eso estoy tratando de verificar mi cuenta de mi celular iPhone y tampoco me lo permíte, o sea no me carga últimamente está deficiente y malísima la aplicación de MEEFF. Yo la amaba cuando lo tenía esos anuncios cuando no existía lo de los rubíes ni mucho menos era perfecta después que le hicieron tantas cosas. Lo arruinaron absolutamente todo.

So I have been using this app on and off and then wen I went to continue my conversations it says my account was banned I didn't do anything say anything or anything . How does one get banned without doing anything ? I didn't even get an email . One minute I'm receive alerts saying I got a message later I go and check and my account is signed out .
Will ban you without warning
I joined just a few days, and the app is riddled with scammers. Within 4 days my account was banned with no notice. I filed an appeal and my account was active again for no more than 5 min and then was banned again. It’s better to use HelloTalk or Tandem than this app.

0 stars if I could. 3 profiles trying to scam me. I reported all three and I am the one who gets banned. ME! The real person 😑 I had no chance to even delete my account, so it’s just floating in the air God knows where. Before the “admin” tells me to write them, I DID! I wrote them explaining the whole situation on Thursday of last week and still haven’t gotten a response. Ohhh and I was trying it for free because I accepted an offer they had going to try it out and did not even get to do that because I got banned. Don’t waist your time with this app. It’s just fake people trying to get you to share explicit photos to blackmail you or give them your personal information to ask for money. Thank God I did not waste my money purchasing this app.

My account was literally banned for no reason!!! I didn’t do anything at all. I was on there then was kicked off, tried to log back in and it said in was banned!

I had an old account and it got deleted even though I tried login in before their account expiration date, then I tried making a new one and it said they would take 24 hours to review it, and then I tried login in later and it just says my account got banned. I hadn’t even been able to use the app at all so I don’t understand why my account is banned???

I don’t usually write reviews but I cannot keep my mouth shut on this one. I made an account here in hopes that I could find someone who could teach me Korean, maybe even make a friend or two. When I first started using the app, everything seemed cool, people seemed nice but as time went by I started noticing a pattern with the people on there. They would immediately ask to talk off of the site, we would talk for some time, they would tell you they love you and that you’re the one they want to spend the rest of their lives with, all within ONE WEEK of knowing you! Then I had one who had eventually asked me for my bank acct info and my social because he couldn’t access his bank acct for whatever reason and said his job was sending him money and asked if I could help him out by holding the money in my acct. The stories I have are CRAZY. Don’t download this app, I don’t think a single person on there is genuine at this point. Wayyy too many scammers!!!!!

Men that I’ve rejected keep reporting my account and Meeff banned me. This has happened multiple times.

I can’t ever add my job or education to my profile without the app freezing up. The app is updated, so there’s no reason for the issue other than the possibility of a bug.

I downloaded the app hoping I can make friends in a new country. However, as soon as I finished creating my account I had to wait 24 hours for my account to get approved. That’s fine, but my account is somehow banned. I haven’t used my account at all and it’s simply banned. It makes no sense at all. I followed guidelines and have no reason to be banned especially since i haven’t even been able to use my account. I don’t know what to do.

Banned for no reason
I tried using this app to find friends since I used to use it a couple of years ago. I deleted the account because I kept coming across fakes. The minute I create a new account I get banned. Didn’t even give me a chance to use it just immediately banned. You allow catfish people to use the app but the real ones get banned!
Infested with scammers
I signed onto the app for a language, exchange partner or partners I’ve been studying Korean language for about a year nearly every Korean person that has messaged me on that app has actually been someone in West Africa. They are audacious enough to have voice messages on their profiles, and the accents are clearly those of African men. The time at their location is displayed when they message you so the fact that not in the countries that they say they are in and are in fact somewhere in West Africa app is complete trash.
I paid for ad removal, but will this keep charging me every month?
I want to cancel, but there’s no information under subscriptions. Could you confirm if the $25 charge was taken from here this time?
