Poor operation
I showed up and waited. Allen showed up. We sat down to talk and ordered food. Allen tapped on my name and found out I was “deactivated”🤷🏽♀️. No notice, no warning, just kicked out. That is no way to run any sort of social group.
Age requirement for the app
It says the age requirement for the app is 13 and over but when you log in or sign up and put an eggs like 14 or 13 it says you have to be 18 years old. Which is really miss leading. Since the requirements said you have to be 13 or older.
Horrible!!!
I paid for premium member but still can’t send a text to people
Deceptive app
Deactivated profiles stay in place and fill up available slots. The site actually wants members to do the troubleshooting for them, and staff won’t help without documentation like screen shots and individual reports. Since I’m not being paid to beta test their app for them, I won’t be doing all that work. When I complained, they suggested I apply for a refund, but there’s no link ANYWHERE to ask for a refund. What a scam. TWO THUMBS DOWN.
Found a scammer
One scammer messaged me said he was an orthopedic surgeon emergency doctor station in Yemen but lives in “the state” what American talks like that???? Blocked and reported yall better do something about this

About premium!
How long it takes to activate premium, I paid for premium but it’s not working, it’s stressing me out, I can’t talk to anyone still asking me to pay for premium when I have already paid for it.
It is dishonest
I paid for the premium subscription so I can message other members but as soon as someone shares their contact info that person is immediately banned the moderators. That is unacceptable as far as I can tell. I wish I had a refund
Potentially Misleading Monetization - Lack of Clear Disclosure
This app may violate App Store transparency expectations.
Meet5 advertises itself as a platform to meet and connect with people, but it does not clearly disclose at signup that messaging requires a paid membership - specifically that at least one person must pay in order for conversations to continue.
This limitation only becomes apparent after users have created a profile and uploaded personal photos. Locking core functionality behind an undisclosed paywall is misleading and creates a bait-and-switch experience.
Apple’s App Store Review Guidelines emphasize clear disclosure of monetization and feature restrictions prior to user commitment. In this case, the app’s primary function - communication - is restricted without adequate upfront notice.
Users should be fully informed before sharing personal data or investing time. As it stands, the design prioritizes monetization over transparency and informed consent.
I strongly encourage prospective users to review the fine print carefully before signing up.

Too expensive for premium
I tried I can try meetup for 9.99 a week that too is expensive but I can quit after a week
It’s okay
It would be better if it had more things for the LGBTQ community. I’m welcoming to meet all kinds of people and socialize, but it would be cool to get together with other gay men.
