Its not compatible with controller
I bought this game because i wanted to play it on my new “steelseries nimbus+ controller”.
But is not compatible at all! I wonder if capcom will ever update it for iphone xr or new ipad air 2019. I love the game but it is annoying that capcom knows exactly this game came out for snes and always used controller to play it. If you please update the app for the controller system compatibility it will be another story! Thanks for nothing capcom! 😒

No Controller Support???
The title says it all this game has no controller support. As someone who grew up playing this game I couldn’t possibly understand why anyone would want to play it without a controller.

How on earth could any developer possibly think this game would be even fractionally as enjoyable without controller support???? I was over the moon when I found Mega Man on the App Store, then I find it only supports touch controls. If they released all the old MM games (OG, X series, Zero Series, Legends series, Command Mission, etc.), I would happily pay even App Store prices for all of them; but, controller support, you’ve got to be kidding me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One star until this is resolved. Lifelong fan, it pains me to give this rating.

This is a Megaman game. That means controls are pretty important as the level design and boss fights are MADE to require precision and accuracy. I can use my backbone with just about any other mobile port of console games on my phone, so the fact that I can’t use it for this one makes no sense at all.

MAKE BLUETOOTH CONTROLLER COMPATIBLE
Make this Bluetooth controller compatible, and I’ll give this a 5 star rating! Most games have this feature.

Touch controls are garbage and their is “NO CONTROLLER SUPPORT” and the screen can not be rotated so when i have my iPad docked in my Magic Keyboard for easy upright viewing the game is upside down. It is like they tried to make this game as poorly as possible. I think a one or two man team of indie developers could have produced a faithful port in a relatively short time so why Capcom did such a horrible job can only be attributed to complete lack of effort. Stay far away from this!

X’s running animation looks like a slideshow
The game is good it’s just not a super full remake since the graphics look quite pixelated areas and the moving animations. There’s only three animations for each of them which makes it look very weird, but the game is still good.
Controller Support is a MUST
I beg of you, PLEASE add controller support. This would instantly bump this from 2 to 4 or even 5 stars for me. I can’t play this game using touch screen. You have some amazing games on the App Store, please update this one so I can enjoy it!

The best thing about this version is the music. You immediately hear familiar sounds but the visuals are not as familiar.
The screen size and the proportion of X to the level is off.
I could be wrong but I remember the camera scrolling more smoothly with X on other versions. In this version you move X from the left edge to the right edge and then a new segment again. It looks abrupt and weird.
The proportions of the controls should be adjustable but in this game they are not. The controls are too opaque and large.
There are some control placement presets available to select from. The controls would benefit from more customization options.
For sale in the in game store are all the enhancements you can normally collect in the game. In the game store they are sold separately or in a bundle of all. Mastered BGM is also sold.
I intend to earn the enhancements through gameplay and listen to the music through gameplay. I do not intend to put any more money into this game. I am a bit disappointed with it.
I am however impressed with the lack of data collection. That was a selling point to me. More companies should just sell you the product without collecting your information.
