Takes to long to progress
This game has been fun and it’s beautiful to play and see all the birds you hatch and all the masterpieces you create but I can no longer continue to play, it’s no longer enjoyable. It takes too long to progress and meanwhile you play the same mini games and matches over and over again. I haven’t freed someone from the vines in a long time. You start out progressing fast and once you progress, a new area only opens up every other time and it takes a lot to just move up one level. I just passed level 82, 83 did not open a new area, I have to merge 3 eggs, 10,000 times to progress, tap 10 garden supplies which is at least 10 days, create 48 coin storage which you have to buy with coins, open 3 baskets which you have to have gems to do that, create a grand oak which a can’t even tell you how many matches that is, merge to create 7 butterfly, which you will need more coins to buy each egg or win them in levels which you don’t know what you will win during levels and then you have to win 40, yes 40 more games and believe it not, winning the 40 games is the easy part. Thank you for the time I’ve spent on the game, I just can’t play when no progress is made and I don’t see a way without making tons of purchases and spending a ton of money from this point.

I’ve been playing this game for years. The new update is not a good one. The magnifying glass to find if there were the same amount of items was removed, which was a free option and replaced with a magnet option that you have to pay for. Other merge games have this magnet option for free. Not sure I’m gonna continue playing this game.
Now disappointed
I have enjoyed this game for quite a long time. As of today I feel betrayed. A basic function of finding similar objects which makes managing the garden possible has been replaced by a time limited similar feature. I have given them money to play for more turns and sometimes fun perks. It apparently was not enough for them. Now they want 10 dollars a week for a feature that has been a simple way to find the same objects on the garden. Don’t download this now. They ruined the game and I will no longer be playing.

This game is so addicting. It’s mindless and lets me disassociate. But the ads. The ads. They’re so triggering. It was one thing when it was for other games I had no intention of playing. But now it’s “diet” ads and it’s giving Consumption chic and pro Ana behavior. I got one today that literally said “lose five pounds in one day! Just eat only jello!” Hi we don’t do that here. This is now dangerous and promoting dangerous behavior and is disastrous for mental health. Find better ad partners.
Keeps crashing
Love the game however keeps crashing with most recent update, I’ll change rating once is fixed, I keep losing progress when it crashes.
Used to be fun; now too expensive
They just monetized the weekly ‘earned’ rewards; So what’s the point of completing the tasks. Now 10 bucks a week just to play on top of buying gems and in $ for weekend events? No thanks.
Puzzles are impossible!
Be WARNED!!! There is much to love about this game but to get anywhere, and I literally mean anywhere, a ton of puzzles must be completed. The puzzles are IMPOSSIBLE!! Not a single one is able to be completed in one try. NOT ONE!! Either gems are need to be spent (which are very hard to acquire unless paying loads of real money) for extra tries and/or boosters, OR after wasting 5+ lives (the max accumulated) the game will suddenly spit out bombs galore to graciously allow winning a whopping one puzzle. Then after hours to restock 5 lives its rinse and repeat. Meaning days upon days are needed to finish the requisite puzzles to advance just one level. For me this completely destroys what could be a very fun game.
So unless you are a millionaire willing to purchase the $50-$100 a pop packages for a meager bundle of gems which will be depleted in maybe 5 puzzles, OR love the tedium of doing nothing but merging flowers and mushrooms for hours at a time between the fruitless puzzle endeavors, this is a horrific game.

I don’t need a tutorial
Has tutorial for every level super annoying I just want to play the game.
I love this game, but…
This week brewing event is different from other time. It’s supposed to gets a brew pot for every anything 5 items that you merge. Now not matters how items you merge, you don’t gets the pot. This is frustrating. I’m at level 84, and expend a lot money during this past 2 years. Hope you resolve this fluctuations, I read in the Facebook game community page that this is happening for some players, and to others no…game continues as always.

I enjoyed this game in the beginning and didn’t mind so much having to buy a few things but now it seems to advance further a purchase is required. The major annoyance is there is an ad for another game just about every time you make a move. I’m sorry to say goodbye but I can not stand all these ads.

If the game was like the previews where they actually talked like they do on the preview, I think the game would be more fun. I had the game and felt like it falsely advertised it,like other games do.

DON’T LET YOUR 4 YEAR OLD PLAY THIS GAME. It used to be the best ever until they turned it from puzzles to slot machines making the player be a loser what seems to be 95% of the time. Puzzles are solvable. Slot machines are nothing but chance designed to steal your time and money. Goals are fun but not when they’re IMPOSSIBLE. I spent thousands on more than one account over the years just to earn losing status in the end. Don’t let this happen to you! DON’T PLAY THIS ADDICTING GAME!!!!!!! The developers don’t listen.

It was a fun casual game HOWEVER this new update is a red flag of it becoming a pay to play. Why remove a free feature and replace it with a paid one? Please bring back the magnifying glass i don’t see why both that and the new feature can’t be an option….
Fun But…
I’ll admit that I’m not the best at Match-3 puzzles so when I got to around level 22 I was unable to solve any of the puzzles without using side tools or extending the game with gems - both of those items are used up much faster then they are replaced without spending a lot of money. Deleted it.
Cash Cow?!
The Candy Crush strategy for squeezing players is alive and well in this game. Resources are scarce to come by. Even treasure chests when merged will produce less than what a lesser chest would have awarded you. My reasons for playing are my own. It’s a great fidget toy and that means there is nothing for me to win. I am not, however, immune to the tricks and frustrations employed by the developer to “starve” me into spending what resources I manage to accumulate. The game has a fun premise and great graphics and it is obvious that it was made to be a cash cow rather than a source of true entertainment for players. Digital currency costs the game nothing but can go far to provide a tangible reason for most anyone to play. I do not recommend playing this game.
Hidden fees
Although this is a very well-made game, when you spend $49.99, it is a big surprise when the charge hits your account as $75.58.. A 50% markup should be disclosed.

App keeps crashes
This game was very good until recently. Even with the upgrades. The app keeps crashing and getting stuck. I have to keep closing it every 5-10 minutes.

I am stuck in stage 6 because it says to harvest any oak tree, and I have harvested 3 over the last 3 days and it will not except it.
Problem
There is a huge problem with one of the ads that displays when you need something. It’s Merge Story. It takes five or more minutes to go away and you get the reward you were after. I’ve frequently had to just exit the game altogether because it won’t go away. That’s really frustrating and annoying when you are needing a booster when playing the puzzles. Please get rid of the ad for this Merge Story game!
