Duplicate notifications
I don’t know what changed recently but I keep receiving duplicate notifications for the same message regardless of my settings. I reset my phone, deleted and reinstalled the app and NOTHING. This is super annoying when this is your form of communication with people who can only message while on wifi. I wake up to like notifications indicating I have 20 messages when in reality I have like 5, they just reacted to some of my responses. FIX THIS!!!!!!!

I am a prolific Marketplace seller and use Facebook Marketplace as a significant part of my business restoring and selling vintage furniture. Because sourcing inventory requires contacting many sellers in a short period of time, my messaging privileges are frequently restricted for “spam activity” despite having legitimate, ongoing conversations with real users.
These restrictions appear to be automated and cannot be reviewed or reversed. Users are simply told to wait an unspecified 24-72 hours, with no clear timeline or status updates. Even more frustrating, attempting to use messaging during the restriction period may reset the timer, though Facebook provides little transparency about how the process works.
For those of us who rely on Marketplace as part of our income, this can have a real financial impact. There should be a way for established users to verify that they are legitimate buyers and sellers rather than being automatically flagged as spammers. Marketplace is an excellent platform, but the current restriction system creates unnecessary barriers for the people who use it most.
There is something deeply ironic about being penalized for using Marketplace exactly as intended. If I’m actively buying inventory, responding to sellers, maintaining reviews, and conducting legitimate business, the system should be smart enough to distinguish that from actual spam. Right now, it doesn’t.

My messenger has not worked in over a week. When I try to confirm my identity it says there is an error and this is not available in my country.. I AM IN THE UNITED STATES! I have sent help requests with no responses. This is so stupid!

Out of all the applications out there, this is the only one that locks me out and asks for my license, ID, Passport, wedding certificate, etc. out of nowhere and doesn’t tell me why other than its generic message. During modern times with meta bending to this administration’s request to private information, I do not feel comfortable giving my private information out like that for no reason. i don’t know if this is over politics or what reason but if it keeps happening, i will stop using messenger,

Pure rage bate
Dispicapal me couldnt evan rage bate me this much. This ap is usless and dispicalbe. Bit i gave it one star because i couldnt give 0!!! And there lies the truth and the edge of the waterfall. The lake of lies has fluded over and spilled into my corner of the cascadian coutryside. Now "this is all" is all i have to say for "these" people. Not even a trash panda could love this app and definitely not a non-trash panda. Here is my advice for this compandy that runs this app. Dont EVAH disrespect me or me familia evah again. Does not work!
My fiancé has the newest version of messenger & it literally will not let him into his messenger or Facebook app at ALL with this new update. It kicked him out & it acts like it’s going to sign back in but it just buffers and then goes to a blank white screen. Every time this app is updated it just gets worse!

I can’t even send a message on messenger, because it is telling me. 8 have to prove my identity because of suspicious activity. The activity is me send reels to my friends. Nothing else! I’m not giving meta a picture of my drivers license to prove I’m am the person that has had this account since 2010. I just won’t use it, if that’s the case!!!
