Minimal Functionality
There isn’t a lot outside of Meta brand that works with the Display Glasses; Google and Apple calendars don’t sync properly for provide any helpful notifications. You can only set a timer, no reminders, alarms, notes, etc. Hopefully there will be updates otherwise this is just another expensive, overhyped product that came to market far too early.
Crashes and Inconsistencies
This app crashed several times a week. Almost daily at this point. AI agent gives inaccurate answers and is even confrontational upon further questioning. Glasses do not have the ability to utilize most features unless the app is already open on your phone. Translation segment of the app is hit or miss and cannot translate videos of any kind.
Not Working At All
App stops working. It’s stopped animating my photos. When I asked Meta Ai what was wrong, I had no response. It was a really good AI app, but now it’s useless.

Awful AI with no privacy
Awful AI with no privacy as I don’t see a way to opt out of using data to train models. Tried to delete data with the account and that didn’t even seem to work right. Poor answers to questions compared to other AI’s.

My app stopped connecting to my glasses a week ago and I have not been able to get it to connect to the app since whatever happened. These are my prescription glasses I paid over $800 for this is horrible and I haven’t had them 6months now I have to send them sock

Meta is in violation of The FDBF. Meta is denying access to accounts associated with one’s identify causing defamation across the board. They are causing their uses to tolerate accounts that they controlled by trollers. This is leading to exploitation and abuse of those with lost accounts.
Horrible!!!
Get to the point where you try a free trial and nothing works. Worst meta fail ever! Everyone’s sketchy about AI and even Meta can’t get it right… sad day!
Original RayBan Stories
This app use to work great. A lot better before it became Meta Ai. Now this app won’t even recognize my glasses. When I finally get it to recognize, it will no longer allow me to download the photos from glasses. I am able to connect them via Bluetooth to my iPhone. At least connect to phone I can listen to music and answer calls. Otherwise they are pointless now. I am really bummed.
Terrible
Horrible at understanding prompts. Simple requests and it cant follow instructions. Asked to move stair to other side, added start to roof and 2nd front door to house…
Voice keeps changing to default
Despite my hard reset, uninstalling and reinstalling the voice continues to switch back to the annoying higher pitched default voice. I keep changing and saving and it doesn’t seem to help! Very frustrating.

Horrible,
It went from being great to messy and careless. New guidelines and restrictions produce horrible photos and imagery. A noticeable difference between now and when meta ai started out. Absolutely horrible.
Hardly lets you generate ai images anymore.
I deleted Meta ai from my phone. Won’t use it anymore. Better off with copilot, Gemini or Wonder ai.

You keep advertising meta AI app on Instagram and Facebook by using fishy videos. After I finally downloaded that why do I have to activate it with Meta glasses?
Disappointed
Literally anytime I use this app and try to utilize the AI features. There’s always some type of error or some type of reason why it does not work. I see all of these people creating beautiful things and being able to on my end, it’s never working at this point. I’m just convinced that the app is just very selective when it comes to this AI creation thing and it’s not for anything like that . It sucks.

Forced to use with glasses
This app has been recreated at least a half dozen times since I bought my glasses. It usually won’t let me offload data from my glasses until I at least reset the connection. Currently there is an update that won’t install and can’t be avoided to get content off my glasses. Now that it has an LLM built in, I can spend time complaining about the lack of talent at meta and it generally agrees. For example, when the update gives an error message, you can’t close out of the update. The whole app has to be force closed to leave the screen. I’ve also downloaded the same 308mb update dozens of times trying to get it to install and nobody at meta can even see that is happening. The same user name doing downloads over and over again.
Every person that asks about my glasses gets told not to buy these because of the app.

10,000 of us have glasses that are now useless and stuck in update and can no longer use.
Disappointed
I have Meta AI for iPhone without glasses. Works okay…when it works. Lately it hangs and apologizes for doing nothing. I tried to download the app on my iPad and it forces me to select the glasses I want to connect. I don’t have glasses for meta and I don’t want them. So meta ai for iPad is a total no go. Guess I’ll pay chatgpt.

Been a long-time user since early development phases, not having a problem before as Meta revisions were revamping their platform much to Chat GPT/ Google Gemini, and other competitors. I did like making “text to image” envisioning the same conduit, under the same conditions, but recently noticed: 1) it’s photo gallery not displaying memorabilia drafts
2) the tap and save image isn’t applicable anymore
3) most of /imagine concept generation yields out “DBZ” Franchises instead of dabbling in other projections
Meta images needs to highlight:
•keywords to represent trendier concepts
•what insights can help increase the intrigue/interest/influence inserted into inspired content & conversations
The text prompting to explain and express the verbatim - long story short) it feels literally like coding, even when using the microphone to converse the same narrative but doesn’t have the necessary motivation to surge through the process.
ITS THE THINKING MODE INSTEAD OF THE INSTANT MODE GIVING ISSUES. Hope devs can improve the bugs and tact in the next update.
