Completely corrupt scammy treatment of customers or total incompetence to leave the app up with a huge bug that won’t allow paying subscribers to login. Either way, Apple should pull this worthless app from the app store.

The app on Apple TV streaming sucks
Can’t pause, can’t start. Freezes all the time. Not sure if it’s specific to Apple TV but this app seems to be very out of date and unfriendly to the user. Billy the Kid is the only reason I have it for now but the watchability of the app is severely lacking.
Web client sucks way less
The accessibility of this app is greatly lacking. The app, for example, does not allow for audio description tracks. The web client, however, does. The app lacks many other. Accessible elements and controls.

Downloads do not work!
Downloads do not work! I have the latest version on the app as of today. I have an iPhone 17 pro max 1TB. I downloaded episodes 8, 9, and 10 of season 2 of the show “From”, but when I try to play them, I just get a black screen showing the typical onscreen controls like play/pause, skip forward or backward 10 seconds, etc. I tried both with WiFi and also with airplane mode turned on. Why am I even paying for this if I can’t download anything?
Apple TV App Doesn’t Work
Don’t bother spending money on this or even waste time setting up an account for the free trial. I did so and despite restarting and troubleshooting, every time the app said “Subscribe” instead of playing anything. Then when I click that hoping it’d prompt me to re-login, it just said “Already subscribed”.

Login always a chore
Constantly have to re enter my credentials, app makes it very hard to login via a provider. No obvious link to do so.

Apple TV made me purchase this app to watch the show FROM and i paid. I was watching Season 1 just fine but now season 2 is not available??? But season 3 is!? Huh!? It wants me to pay again? This is dumb! Save your money
Billion dollar company can’t afford to make a functional app
Cast features hardly ever work, constant pop ups. Worst user experience of any streaming platform hands down.
MGM+ app
The MGM+ app doesn’t download correctly to the tv. You have to play MGM+ entertainment off the Apple app.
Total Rip Off
I’m supposed to be able to use this app without cost because I am subscribed to all 3 MGM channels on my Direct tv subscription and yet it will not activate the login through my digital subscription option. Total Rip Off if you ask me.

They purposefully make it to where you can’t even cancel when you’re trying to cancel. It is such a waste of time. Totally not worth it.
Poor Service
The app doesn’t let you do much to handle your account - I’ve been unable to cancel my subscription or get a response from customer support for more than a month. Don’t subscribe if you plan on eventually cancelling.
Casting doesn’t work
App just hangs when trying to select a device to cast to. Can do nothing but force exit the app.
Totally broken on AppleTV
Login flow is totally broken on AppleTV 4k. I signed up, excited to watch a movie and after restarting the app, restarting the AppleTV, deleting and reinstalling the app, I still can’t get it to detect that I am subscribed. It has me login through my iPhone and just shows that I have to subscribe to watch anything. When I try to subscribe the app tells me…. I’m already subscribed! Unsubscribing for now till they fix the app I guess.
Nothing plays after subscribing, endless loop
I subscribed on my Apple TV and no matter what I do it still asks me to subscribe, then I choose ‘monthly’ and it says you are already subscribed. Downloaded the iPad app, same behavior. Completely worthless app.

Worst streaming app. Samsung TV says I need to stream from the phone app. Except, the only thing I've been able to stream is the MGM intro-not a show or movie. The thing is.. I don't care. I'm getting $8 of credit a month for subscribing with my Amex Gold. So I'm happily collecting the spend points for free, while not getting hooked on the service.
Terrible ui and experience
Pop ups everywhere. Connecting to Apple was terrible. Clunky. Not a lot of offerings

Definitely the worst streaming apps I’ve ever used. They make it very complicated to use your account on a device you didn’t sign up with. Instead of having a simple user name and password there’s supposed to be a code on your TV or computer to connect them but every mgm app I download does not show a code or let me log in.

Can’t login
I have an MGM+ account. I love the show “From” it’s why I signed up. I signed up through my YouTube. My problem with the app is it won’t let me login because it’s through YouTube, but I still have the subscription. It is weird and frustrating.

I subscribed and then it said I had no subscription. Then I got an error stating I had a different account to stream from. I just asked for a refund from Apple.
Your website lies
I purchased a trial trying to get the bond movies through streaming and I might as well just go by DVDs because none of the movies are available. Thanks a lot for wasting my time. I’m canceling my trial.
Doesn’t work
I have tried opening this app in my iPhone and all I get are the five icons to navigate the site. Clicking on them does nothing. Deleted the app and reinstalled. Nothing. How can you charge for something that doesn’t even work?!?!

I meant to mark 0 stars. I chose a 3 month free trial that they charged me for it still. I emailed customer support and they cancelled my subscription, but didn’t refund me for it. It was supposed to be free!!!!

1) No sorting at all on titles so it’s impossible to find movies or shows except by endless scrolling and hunting.

Not Happy
I cancelled MGM plus before the 7 day free trial ended and they still charged my card. There was nothing on there that I wanted to watch, and there is no place to contact them for a refund, I will not recommend them to anyone!
